C. F.Friendly attentive waiters. Delicious cocktails and mocktails. Ordered about 8 different dishes and they were all fantastic, could not fault a single one of them!
B. K.My partner and I went here for our date last Friday. We really enjoyed the whole atmosphere. The food was a bit expensive and small but if you order three dishes it's totally worth it. The waitress were very on the ball about cleaning up and if you wanted something else. Such a relaxing place to dine at.

R. P.Really nice food. Unfortunately we got a Sunday night 15% surcharge which added a bit to our bill, but understandable, just makes for a more expensive dinner so you don't buy as much.
We had four items, the croquettes, the warm marinated olives, dips with bread, which were really good, except the olives that were not warmed at all, they were squishy and tasted bland and weird we couldn't eat them. The last dish was the eye fillet on bread. While small, it was definitely delicious, the meat was cooked beautifully, although for 18 dollars I'd have though four would be better value ad there were only 3 tiny baguette slices with meat on top :( not good for sharing either as most people would have at least two in their party and you can't split 3 of them, tapas is a sharing type of cuisine.
The Berry mocktails were nice but took us a while to get but the very sweet, very tangy/sour part.
Thanks for the nice night otherwise, the outdoor tables were really cute and it was lovely overall.

attentive and friendly service in a cool atmosphere with Moroccan tiles and lanterns hanging overhead, complemented with Hindu statues and Buddhist paintings on the wall - very eclectic. The waiter recommended chicken tacos as a snack and they were too good!

F. N.Im sad that I cant give this place more stars. The vibes and decor was amazing. I just was not as impressed as I thought I'd be with the food. Maybe it was my mistake for ordering the chefs tasting menu. I did however have a dietary requirement of no pork - so I could be wrong and it could be great, but the food was pretty mediocre and not mind blowing. I definitely recommend however for drinks and trying other stuff on the menu.

O.A lovely bar with great use of space and atmosphere. Amazing decor and music. The staff took their time when serving on a pretty slow night but other than that I would definitely give it a second shot! Great to mix things up a bit from quite little dive bars!

M. B.The food and wine was very good as was the service. But we had a large plate of bread with olive oil as a starter. We were given a very small portion of olive oil like a couple of spoons full and we asked for more and on our bill was charged $2.50 more for a few more spoons of olive oil this let them down. Small things like this count. Not good.

A. N.Good food, great ambience, and amazing entertainment. The only downside was that it took ages for some of our order to come. We in fact forgot completely about one of the dishes and were about to leave when it came. As it was 2 hours after we arrived, we requested the dish to be sent back but the request was denied and we were told that it would anyway be charged to us whether we ate it or not (Found it rude on their part). Thankfully, another customer came to our rescue and offered to take the dish as they had been told that the food was over.

This was at the downstairs bar, the guy needs to learn how to make cocktails, it was the worst one I ever had ... bar manager sorted it out eventually, praise to him.

The only contrasting feedback would be that while my friend and I were trying to catch up, we were interrupted constantly which felt like every 15 mins by staff coming to see if we wanted more drinks/food. We still had food & drinks and as much as it's lovely- it was a bit annoying when we were trying to chat.

S. D.Great music, good selection of drinks, friendly staff but the top bar struggles to keep up and there can be a considerable wait for drinks. Doesn’t help when people at the back of the queue keep adding to the order of the person being served. Bar staff were competent but could use a little more urgency, sometimes you have to break a sweat. Some of the food was pretty good but the shaslicks were overdone, tough and chewy tho the flavour was there. Also the meatballs seemed to have been overworked leaving them very dense and dry. A little disappointing as the place has a great vibe about it and I was really looking forward to the food. Just need to polish some of the simple things.

Staff even though they were busy worked as a team to provide us with quick service on the drinks. However we were a large table and only once did 2 tapas dishes come out at the same time. A. A.Best tapas place in Adelaide. Have been to quite a few but never have been happier. Recently visited this place for the Spanglish festival. A great menu with a lot of vegetarian options as well (i like to try vegetarian options for a change). Great wine list. Love the music and ambience. Great crowd for grown ups who want to have decent night with friends and family.

Minus 1 star just because a few of the dishes we wanted to order were sold out due to a large function and most food came out covered with extra sauce that wasn't on the menu which if i had known i would have asked for it without (apparently most dishes do come out with extra sauces so i will always check in future!)

S.I've honestly got to rate this place 5/5 stars, Beti the waitress was amazing, my partners puppy had passed away and she went above and beyond to make sure we still managed to enjoy the time, and the food during our dinner service tonight at Casablabla, the food was absolutely delicious and Beti provided compassion that we honestly needed after hearing this tragic news, as well as making sure everything was okay, despite the restaurant being completely busy, because of this I had to write a review about the restaurant.

S. L.It really really gives me a bad impression when I have to go call for someone to take my order. To me it really shows the restaurant and servers don't care about their customers. We're tourists and came here after seeing some ads in a food magazine. It is a loud tapas bar, we were seated outside and as I said, I had to go inside and call someone to order after waiting ~25 minutes without response. The service got better through the night though.
The classics I think of when I imagine tapas like meatballs, garlic prawns etc were all missing from the menu.
We ordered sticky pork ribs and bacon croquettes. The food was delicious and the drink size was very generous too.

T. T.First visit to Adelaide this week saw my wife and I stumble upon Casablabla for a late lunch and I was absolutely delighted. The service is friendly and the ambience is wonderfully eclectic.
Then there's the menu and food. The only drawback was that I didn't have time to try more dishes than I did. Everything is really well thought out and most importantly delicious. I thoroughly recommend the hoisin duck slider. I could have eaten a dozen of them and not regretted it for a second.
If I was a local Casablabla would be my local.

DJ plays till 11 or 12 depending on the day, and all of a sudden a live band performs.
Within 20 min whole crowd is gone, so make sure you guys ask them how long DJ is playing.

J. Z.Loud, is the only way I can describe it. But FUNKY loud. Ive been here a few times and when its hot its HOT. But somtimes its just not happening either. Give it a go and a couple of chances and if you hit the right night you'll know why its talked about.
