I attended here with my family for a lunch for the first time, I had a good experience with the food, the kind staff and the ambience. The only thing is that the staff ask you how your meal is going, I know they all do that, but I wish whoever tells them too would stop. We were having a conversation. We all stopped so they would say their bit and we could say "Yes, it's fine" so we could go back to our conversation. I get they making us feel welcome cos they want us to come back but is a bit annoying.

A cosy pub with nice decor. Not many people there for lunch. The menu was nice and varied. I went for the Beef pie with chips and salad, which was really nice. There used to be a salad bar there but that is gone now. Overall a nice pub meal.

This place is super popular. As we dined on our excellent lunch accompanied by an equally outstanding South Australian wine we watched a steady stream of cars pour into the carpark. The dining room was slowly filling up but there were a lot more pouring into the parking lot, maybe patrons going to the pokies out the back. The service was efficient and friendly and they even gave us a 20% seniors discount! Wow. Excellent food, drink and service with 20%. You gotta love that.

Had a 40th birthday here on a Saturday night, staff were extremely polite, friendly and professional, meals came out fast and there were no complaints the food was top notch I highly recommend the brisket which is made in house and the best brisket I’ve ever had in my life and I used to be a butcher so I’ve had a lot of brisket over the years. Not a single complaint from any one and very reasonable prices, would definitely go back again.

40th Function - Highly recommended! We were extremely pleased with how well our function was handled, the food and service was better than our expectations. Kelly and front of house staff (my apologies if forgot your names) were on point all night. Dave and the kitchen team had all our meals out in a timely fashion, hot a very delicious. We all had a wonderful night would like to thank all staff for putting in the extra effort for us. Now go and get Carlsberg entered into the tills 😂

My neighbour and I had dinner here yesterday. We experienced prompt and friendly service. The food was both delicious and plentiful. There’s also a good selection of wines and cocktails, (both individually and by the jug if you have a party). We enjoyed the garlic prawns, the seafood platter and the Turkish delight pannacotta with raspberry coulis for dessert. We were more than delighted with our experience and will certainly return soon. Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.

Honestly could use a few tweaks. Presentation on the food wasn't great. Burger was served in a Tin Dish. plates are better. However, it tasted good, and that is all I need from a pub. This place is clean, has nice lighting, and fantastic music. good experience. Super friendly staff. They catered to our every need. Front bar is pretty random. stick to the bistro for a good time. There today at just about on 2.30pm. Ann-Marie the front of house staff member spoke with the Chef and although John the Chef had finished his lunch shift he stayed on for extra time to cook us lunch. The food was genuinely delicious. Whilst our food and service was fine (pizza was very average) as it got busier you could see the staff struggling to keep up. If you are going to provide table service you need to back it up with adequate staff levels and a manager leading on the floor ! Something that clearly wasn't happening.

First time back to our local after being unhappy with very poor salad bar for quite some time. We heard about the new chef so we're hopeful. Now the bistro has been renovated but there is NO salad bar and the range of meals are just average with no creativity along with virtually all choices coming with chips & salad (boring)! At a time when most pubs have 'stepped up' with either higher end meals or good solid 'pub meals', we feel the choices had very little thought put into them. Nearly all staff were very young, but service ok. Ho hum!

Food was 'ok' for a pub meal. The bar/counter staff were very nice. My biggest criticism is that the children's menu is full of chips and rubbish food (other than one salad). We choose not to feed our 18 month old child this rubbish food and when we asked for a basic spaghetti type meal for her it was refused by the chef (too hard as the meals are already separated). The lady taking our order was very sympathetic to what we were saying. In future I think we might give this place a miss next time we're looking for a meal. Such a shame.

We had a family dinner here on Monday 26th, June, 2017. There was 8 of us which includes 2 children. We had a serve of the garlic breads for a starter, our main meals and then almost every dessert - everything was absolutely delicious!! The servers were lovely and polite. The interior is very warm and cosy - the bar is beautiful. It is now a family favourite and we will definitely be back! 😁

Well the place has changed. Now have someone come to the table and ask what you want on the menu and get the drinks. No salad bar Meal was nice and the waiter also told us they 20% off the meal if your a senior. Not many places tell you that. Fish is Aus. Not imported. Do miss salad bar.
