Super cool chill dive bar, coming from Melbourne I really love and appreciate these spaces. I was there at around 5ish on a rainy Wendesday so it was empty, but I can appreciate and imagine the kind of crowd.

Think about an American dive bar. This is it! Cool small bar with very good selection of beers and music. The staff are nice and friendly. The bathrooms are fun to see all the Playboy old covers...no good for kids, please. After midnight the music is pumping with great songs people dance and drink around the tables.

This little gem is hidden from the main roads so I was surprised when I found this place because I really like going here now. Cry Baby has a great range of beers on tap, friendly staff and atmosphere, they have large booths and this is great if you are planning to have an after-work drinks or large group gathering for any event at cry baby.

Oh what a hidden gem. Some old school lady took me to this place. Cry baby has great drinks, probably one of the few place which serve LIT. It's open till late, looks small but eventually accommodates everyone.

As an American touring this city, this bar made me feel at home. Amazing bar tenders, excellent service and a super friendly atmosphere. Awesome selection of 80's music to boot!! Also, they coolest security guard ever lol.

Hard to call, wasn't busy the nights we were there but had a queue around the corner another night. A couple of the bar staff were the most friendly, a couple of others I'm not sure wanted us there at all. Would definitely try again (if I ever ended up in Adelaide again, which is unlikely..) but otherwise, a little mixed.

Really great music if you are a lover of the greatest hits from 70s 80s and 90s. Nice big booths for you to sit or stand in lol. They have a pool table which is moved aside later in the night to make a dance floor. Drink prices are rediculous and the smoke machine on the dfloor needs to relax a bit. Nice crowd of people. A bit of a try hard hipster vibe, but still a fun place for a dance

Top-notch slumming it. I cannot recomend Cry Baby higher. It is everything I love about a bar; grungy yet clean; professional yet totally relaxed; high quality while being nonchalant. This is a bar run by passionate people who love their art, and is not afraid to poke fun at itself. Come to Adelaide and listen to Sex Pistols while sipping the best local craft beers. This place is leading the revival of the seedy side of town. An absolute must!

In my opinion Cry baby really is one of Adelaide's best pub/clubs. It has a really laid back vibe even though it can get extremely hectic at times. The bar staff are incredible at dealing with the mass amount of customers very efficiently and keep a happy friendly vibe at the same time. Honestly they deserve 6 stars.
