Interesting, older style Adelaide Hotel set in the near city suburb of Hyde Park. Great Menu options and the food did not disappoint. This Hotel includes an upstairs Function Room. We experienced painfully slow service for our main course to be served, but would be willing to try this venue again, as the upstairs function and our timing of our lunch appeared to impact on our table service, hence the 3 Star rating.

Called in Saturday between 3-5. To catch up for a drink with a friend etc, female bar person was very good at her job, she remembered our first round of drinks when we went to order our 2nd round of drinks Great service & good venue. We'll return

We turned up for our reservation early and was greeted warmly by staff. Even though the kitchen didn't start serving till 530pm, the chefs were told of our arrival and got our meals underway which was pretty awesome of them. My wifes Moroccan Chicken was the pick of the three we chose, whilst our Hyde Burger and Sesame Tuna Salad (which was unfortunately every so slightly overcooked) still ticking the tasty box too. Hyde Park Tavern is definitely worth checking out.

The only place that would let us in with no booking (just wanted a quiet table for two tucked away from the crowds to have a quick lunch with my Dad and it was provided with no hesitation). Haven't been to this pub for around 20 years, and on a spur of the moment led us to revisit. We found the Bistro and bar staff friendly and welcoming, and the food and service was excellent. The menu was typical pub meals and we selected the Arancini and the Crispy Pork Belly - we were certainly not disappointed. Highly recommended!

Nice cocktail menu and decent outdoor area. They kept the gas heater cranking which was nice. The food was tasty but a bit stingy on the size, especially the rissotto. I had the salmon and it pretty standard but the veggies underneath didn't really complement the dish in my opinion. The salt and pepper squid was tasty and not too chewy and the chips were nice. Didn't manage to check out the beer selection but it appeared to be your standard beers.

Walked in and immediately greeted by two young lovely staff members for a Tuesday afternoon. Finished training early so grabbed a late lunch and a glass of rose. Mainly impressed by actually walking into a venue and being smiled and greeted warmly. Good looking menu as well. Nice to see young hospitality staff with some cheer. Good job guys.

Food was great and they had some good vegetarian options. The restaurant/bistro was cosy and good for a group of 8 people to relax and enjoy conversation. Service was friendly. I would suggest the staff have more knowledge and confidence with the menu though. Will certainly go back.

Really nice meals. Reasonable price but a table of 12 all served at the same time and every person was delighted with their meals. Also, the service was fantastic. I will happily be back for a meal again.

The waitress Ellie was helpful and efficient. The special was tasty and filling. Doggy bags were required. Shared a yummy well presented dessert and finished with a frothy cappuccino. The house sparkling and house red were good for the price paid. In summary a delightful and delicious Sunday lunch.

Great pub in a snooty area. Surprisingly, the locals and staff are friendly here. Meals are good, parking is a little average and outdoor area a little small. I love the wine selection. I will be back again to try some more of the menu and crack another bottle.

Pizza Hut Holywood Plaza is on the north side of the Holywood Shopping complex at Salisbury North. This store is a franchise of this chain. The chain is introducing new products to try. Clean neat + tidy. Fast efficient service. Enjoy.

Watch out for chain across the church entrance if you're parking at the pub! The food is pretty average, for the prices they're after. Staff were great and pub itself was really good tho.

I always make a point of coming here at least once or twice each time I visit Adelaide (a few time a year) And wish it could be my regular haunt back in Sydney. We used the Hyde Park Tavern for a small business meeting, food was great, staff were more than accommodating, and the $12.90 lunch specials were out standing! If you are after a quiet place to have a coffee and a convo, south of the city, this is the best place. I will be visiting again soon. Also, the staff/chef had no problem at all working food with allergies.

Looked like a very clean place. Salt n pepper squid came out drier than a nuns whatsy and the chicken snitty was ok but nothing amazing for the price. The highlights were the gravy, the aioli & the salad. The waitress was really friendly though which was nice.

Best place on KWR for local and imported beers. A good selection of Gin based cocktails. Meals are limited and come with table bread which is very rare in this day n age. Meals are TAFE standard; nothing much to write about. Sundays are great for trying out beers on tap as they offer butchers(250ml).
