We got Sunday lunch here, absolutely beautiful the meats being pork and lamb melted in out mouth, full of flavour as well. We could not fault our meals, perfect. Very affordable. Lovely staff, certainly recommend 😉

Edit: upgrade seems to be finished. There are normal chairs in the dining room. Fire is going at the front. Skippy was grilled perfectly and there are so many desserts it is hard to choose. They are doing up OG bit by bit. Food and drinks are served without disruption. Used to visit for steak nights, this time I had cordon bleu. It looked great and tasted even better, recommended. Food is consistently well prepared. I do miss the salad bar.

So my family and myself have been coming to the og hotel for years. As each time we go there the staff is always friendly especially Bruce the chef. As I haven't been here in a few years as September 1st 2021 I came here with my family. Oh my god the new revons are beautiful and perfect as the decor looks amazing too. As it looks way better than it used to look like about 4 years ago. I had the rump steak with hot chips, onion rings and Diane gravy as I swear I could skull the rest of that gravy as it was really delicious and perfect but I had to stop myself from doing it haha. The meat just melts in your mouth too My mum she had the roast beef as she said the meat just melts in your mouth even the roast potatoes were delicious too. As my dad had the chicken schnitzel with mash as he enjoyed his food as well As the gaming room looks amazing and very professional now as well We will be back again soon

I have dined at the OG Hotel several times and each time, the food has been exceptional and the service excellent. The building is also very accessible for people with a disability, including wheelchair ramps, and staff have been more than happy to provide my Seeing Eye Dog with a drink of water. The new architectual section Is spacious, and includes a semi outdoor party area, and two large dining rooms, the old original hotel has been done up with respect to the original and has a few small intimate areas with fireplaces. The food is very good, basic Aussie fare with a wide range of choices, there's also vegetarian dishes, and a kids menu; & a seniors menu. And daily specials board. Meals average around the $20 mark and seniors menu all10.50 Darren the head chef has been there forever, and has kept the standard up to scratch. Seven of us enjoyed our meals very much. The chicken schnitzel with ham cheese and pineapple was succulent and really tasty. The best I've ever had, and others were really impressed with their beef schnitzels, Porterhouse steak, and chicken Caesar meals. Desserts were excellent, and Paulette who served us was very efficient and friendly. Will definitely come again. Thankyou.

O.G. Hotel is on the corner of OG Rd and NE Rd Klemzig next to Mlemzig Park and oval. The pub has a bar, games room, dining area and out side dining area. The meals are great and fairly priced. A seniors menu exist so the dining room is popular for lunch. This old pub has been renovated and added to present a clean contemporary feel. Ample parking.

Seafood special on Monday really impressed for only $13, squid was perfect. Tempted to eat here every Mon-Thurs for the deals. Decor needs an update but at these prices IDGAF.

The staff were excellent, but the meal really let them down. It was a Christmas meal with friends and among other issues the Christmas puddings were hard in parts and rubbery in the rest. Either cooked or kept for too long.

I've come here on Pizza and Pasta night and Schnitzel night, but today I came on Seafood night and wow was I blown away - they convinced me to 5 star. The salt and pepper squid was some of the best I've ever had. The fish, prawns, and oysters were also excellent, tasted fresh. Salad or vegetables added for free (salad bar is down because of COVID-19 understandably). Some nights you get bread rolls, some nights you don't, but honestly that's not a big deal. Decor needs an update, but again not a big deal. I am well impressed. For $13, I'll see you next Monday and every Monday after that!

Staff A1. Food, especially Steak, Schnittys & sides A1 at present. Bread rolls deplorable!! Pre packaged white minuscule cold rolls of rubbish. The butter packs are nearly as big as they are. Tasteless and if you want a wholemeal roll, you can't get one. Some may say I'm picky but I love a decent sized warm roll, white, wholemeal, rye or whatever, that you can tear apart with your hands, rather than two fingers. Star lost for this faux pas

Delicious butter chicken, and my husband had S&P squid which was very tasty. Due to Covid no salad/veg bar, and they offered us either which I thought was great. Had bread rolls brought to the table, which is very rare these days. Prompt friendly service, we shall be back.

Not your usual pensioner's pub. This hotel has pretty decent food, can't go wrong with a good schnitzel. Younger staff are a bit hit or miss, but in general the people behind the bar are great. We've hosted a few birthday parties (20+ people) here that worked out so smoothly. Big thank you to the staff that served us. Good for groups, would recommend a booking for large groups, and just an FYI you can bring your own birthday cake.

This is my local and I love it. Great salad bar, great specials, clean, friendly staff. For my Family of three dinner runs us $50 and even gets us drinks a Cooper's pale, bird and hand sparkling, orange juice + kids dessert. If you want a coffee for desert just chuck a buck in those pokie shaped rubbish bins and you can have as much as you like.

Nice low price dinner specials throughout the week with a nice selection at the salad bar. Had the schnitzel been cooked properly, this place was deserving of at least a 4 star. However, the schnitzels came out as though it was blanched in oil for a minute where the crumb was as pale as the napkin I used. This unfortunately, was akin to cardinal sin. It was unfortunately a glorified, under fried chicken nugget.
