Very busy venue for meals and drinks. Excellent bistro menu with variety and freshness of produce. Generous serves at fair pricing. Very efficient service considering the massive area and volume of patrons. Spacious front bar, and also Pokie section for those inclined. Lots of parking. Good security and Covid measures. Great place for large group bookings, especially birthdays and other celebrations. Highly recommend a visit. Enjoy!

Really nice garlic prawns, sauce, rice etc. Would have preferred a fair bit more rice. The rice to sauce ratio wasn't really great. There was about 5:1 sauce vs rice. The rice really had no chance to sop up all the sauce... please fix this. I come here regularly. The schnitty wasn't bad and the salad + sauce was spot on. Excellent bar service, thankyou very much for the complimentary salt, sugar and pepper + water throughout meal. Amusing as it was were the party people, perhaps for some sort of event - spiderman dressed up guy, some girls doing fairy floss ($2 donation per cup), kids could decorate and take home free calico bags. Great FREE entertainment for the kids :)

We just want to commend on the hard work and support that were given to us by Matt, the event manager. We hired the function room on 12th March 2022 for our wedding reception. He went above and beyond to ensure our special day ran smoothly. Also a special shout out to the staff behind the bar on the day, Paula, you did a great job serving our friends and family throughout the day. Thank you to both of you.

Always easy parking, not a lot of staff on hand, usually have a bit of a wait to order food in line. But service is good. Great salad bar. My parents love it as its very pensioner friendly. Good meal and good value. And they're flexible on a lot of things like bday decorations which a lot of pubs are picky about now so that's great!

Para hills community club Bistro Manager was so helpful in helping me arrange my wife’s 50th, nothing was too much trouble helped every step of the way, messages and phone calls to ensure everything was perfect, then on the night was there when we set up until about 9 pm to help organise the food very happy with the service , thanks Kaye. Also special mention to Paula, awesome bar person for us and Sonja that help coordinate the food.

Absolutely love this club, every meal we have purchased has been lovely, delivered hot and in a decent time frame. Delicious gravies and sauces. Salad bar is yummy, lots of hot bread rolls and soups to choose from. Lovely staff, who are incredibly helpful. I haven't found a pub I like as much, in Adelaide. Decently priced. My husband, our two year old and I can have dinner for around $50.00 in the evening and approx $28.00 for lunch. Drink prices are fair. I would highly reccomend.

As a local, I've been here a few times before, I've always stuck with a basic schnitzel, or fish & chips, salt & pepper squid etc. It has always been nice, but really, a trained monkey could produce this stuff. So tonight, I thought I'd try one of the "Chefs Specials". Now I really wish I'd stuck with the basic. I ordered the Pork Belly with Asian Slaw & some type of balsamic dressing. When it arrived, I just looked at it, totally disappointed. It wasn't a nice big cube of Roasted Pork Belly, beautifully cooked & falling apart tender with amazing crispy skin on the top & an amazing fresh Asian Slaw with cabbage & coriander & mint, and the "dressing" was non existent and there was no sauce of any description. What I saw, was three thin slices of pork ribs, no crispy skin, sliced & fried, atop some packet julienne vegetables, with maybe a sneeze of dressing on it, it all looked very dry & unappetizing. When I complained, the waitress told me, "oh sorry, well that's just how it comes" So being a Chef myself, I asked to speak to the chef. She told me that he was too busy. I then literally had to go through & tell her in fine detail what exactly was wrong with the meal, before she understood. She then went back to the Chef, came back to me again & asked me if I would like something else. So I chose a Chicken Schnitzel with Prawn Sauce. This was very nice, but, again, it's not exactly a challenging dish. So the moral of the story is, don't order anything too "different" stick to the standards and you'll have a great meal.

Truly a great place to eat and relax. The dining area is large, overlooking a sports area. Food is varied and presented well, hot and cold. I am a member here and used to regularly go for dinner then dance to music or some great bands Thursday, Friday, Saturday, nights. I haven't been since the music was moved quite sometime time ago. This time we just went for the meal and smorgasbord on a Saturday evening, which is still fantastic, although the schnizels are smaller and the prices higher. I've also noticed a new play room for the kids, filled with physical play equipment instead of the old electronic games.

I want to give them 5 stars but for me. The gluten free menu is a rip off and the options have been halved. The price makes no sense to pay $20+ for a piece of chicken and chips because to make it gluten free they basically remove any sauce or toppings in many cases. And you might pay extra for gluten free gravy. They often put gluten inclusive items on your plate and has to be sent back. So often you wait a long time for a gluten free meal. Mistakes are made and the end result is often a luke warm, over priced and bland meal. And they would also get an extra star if they labelled the soups and buffet what is gluten free. Plenty of room to improve. Venue? 5 stars. Kitchen/menu/gluten free 2 stars. It was better 4 years ago Pro: Great, friendly staff. Excellent venue. Good prices. Top facility and the patrons are worth friendly too. Cons: if you are coeliac or gluten intolerant then the menu options have been cut in half and it often results in delays and cold meals. As with most if not all: There are no gluten free bar meals. And you pay full price for a meal with a fancy name that "with no sauce/toppings" is a cold plain piece of chicken and fries for example. Conclusion: fantastic in all ways except the menu and kitchen have dragged it down over the last 2 or so years. Would still recommend. If you don't have allergies. Ps. If the salad/buffet and soup had allergen markers then you would be exceeding the standard.

This is our regular dining venue. We are members and the bistro has a choice of 4 daily specials for $11 and also a la carte. Prices for a la carte are reasonable and comparable with other venues in the area. Also have a front bar type area where you can get coffee & cake and drinks from opening time and counter meals from mid day. A nice area to relax and chill out.

Last Sat I went to see Kopy Cats at the Para Hills community club. They can sing anyone's songs. They were great. My sister and I danced the night away. I had to ask for the air con to be put on. Why hadn't it been put on. They must have noticed everyone was hot. There was a good crowd there. Line dancers were showing us their stuff. I was impressed. But other than the air con it was a good night.
