We have been here a couple of times now and it does not disappoint. Staff are always friendly and happy. Ordering is now even easier having the QR code at each table for online orders. After having a shocking lamb pie at another pub I was keen to try it out here. This one was awesome!! Lots of tender lamb that was so so tasty. If I could, I'd be back again tomorrow for another one 🤩

First time and it won't be the last. Great deco and atmosphere, Went over Easter and the staff were under the "pump" Getting out meals, greeting and seating, drink service, etc. All done with professional attitude. We did book the restaurant area but will try the "pub" area next. One staff member was dressed extremely well, and you knew she was part of the team, all the other staff were excellent in the job, but not dressed for the part. All food was good but because they were busy came to the table on the cool side. I realize you not sure what or how many people are going to arrive. All good thank you and we will return.

June 2021 Great food, great service and amazing hotel (Thanks Ella) Today, 18th Jan 2022 The lady taking our orders at the bar and assisting us with the wine selection and meals was outstanding. She epitomises customer service. Also the chefs on today, what brilliant meals being prepared. Moroccan Lamb and the scotch fillet steak with red wine juz and mash, omg I could have liked the plate. WOW! Now that’s a schnitzel! Great meal sizes, hand crumbed schnitzels are crunchy fries. I came here and booked the casual dining area on a Saturday night and I know that this place is a bit of a party spot however I was unaware they’d seat us smack bang in the middle of the club. I had a blast because of it; music was a bit loud to talk to each other but the atmosphere was awesome. Great food, great music, good times.

The food is just alright. The Pumpkin dish and spinach fettuccine actually good. But all the meat dishes not so good. The steak was a bit over cook. Didn’t get any table service provided. Maybe because short of staff on lunch time. We ask for few more plates and we didn’t have them until I go to bar to ask the staff again. The 3 stars only for pumpkin and fettuccine.

I’ve been going to this pub for years. It has a decent beer garden with average food. I was reluctant to eat here again from past experience but was lured by the $15 porterhouse steak special. The steak only came with chips and you have to pay extra for gravy or salad. The chips were terrible and tasted like they’d been sitting out for hours and the steak was tough and overcooked. I would have rather paid more to get a decent meal. It’s a good pub for a drink in summer, but I don’t recommend eating here.

I’ve been here for multiple occasions and this place never stops giving. They constantly look for new ways to entice new customers with delicious cocktails, happy hours and Facebook promotions. Food was tasty, and adequately portioned, and drinks are reasonably priced. However, they have this Asian waiter they ought to fire, because he's extremely rude, obnoxious and highly unprofessional, and he simply ruins anyone's dining experience.

Parking is very easy to access with accessibility not even an issue. The establishment itself is well laid out, with the bar having its own special feel and the restaurant having an entirely different feel. Both are just as great as the other. The food was unmatched, the portions were huge and it was delicious. The chips were well seasoned and the chicken burger was excellent. The scotch fillet was melt in your mouth and the salad was a wonderful and simple accompaniment to the food. The burrata was also wonderful and to top it all off the service was above par. The wait staff were attentive and the meals came out in record time. The food, staff and vibe of this place are a credit to its name. I will be back.

Food was delicious, but surely theres a way to separate the club setting from the dining area! The lights were so dim that I could barely see what I was eating! not very helpful when you're wearing a good top and trying to avoid spilling any of your red wine jus 😂 I'm ok with the loud music, as it was a Saturday, but come on, at least keep the lights on until like 8:30-9pm!

6 of us dined with a set menu lunch for Mothers Day. Service was good, one drink was missed which the waitress complimented. Food was all served quickly and all cooked perfectly. Overall great experience however very pricey. The only thing that I would like to see differently next time is a bigger selection of wines by the glass that are more up market. But will definitely be back.

Excellent drinks range with delicious cocktails. Beautiful and spacious venue made for a fun night without being too crowded. Great drinks specials were also very nice. Having passed this place over a few times I am glad I got the chance to finally check it out and was pleasantly surprised by it. Will have to check it out for dinner one day soon too.

The pub is fitted out really nicely, good atmosphere. Chicken parmigiana was decent enough. No complaints about the quality from friends who had the caesar Salad, wrap and burger from the bar menu. The pub was absolutely pumping, and we understood it was busy - however, if your food takes an hour and fifteen minutes to come out, you expect an explanation or an apology. We had to go up to the counter and ask what was going on, and finally when the food did come out there was no apology or anything from the waitress.

Love this venue since the renovations. The open plan to outdoor is awesome and gives a good atmosphere to mingle both in summer and winter. There is a good bar menu with things to share with friends, or the restaurant for something more formal. I was a bit put off that we didn't seem to be able to order beer at the restaurant and instead walked up to the bar but it's still a great place to come for some Sunday drinks.

The atmosphere at The Republic, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night is exceptional, great for family or a social catchup with mates, the music was pumping and drink specials will keep you up all night, not to mention the staff who for the most part are a great bunch, very genuine, friendly, committed people. However the manager was rude, and their actions and methods of customer service were appalling. The halloumi fries which we were most excited for was $12 for 7 overcooked, poor tasting battered halloumi pieces. In contrast, the main meals were fantastic and we were very delighted with the portion sizes and timing of food considering the busyness. Would recommend, assuming they fix up management. Cheers

We did not eat so can't comment on the menu unfortunately but the people around us all looked happy with their food. There was 3 big screens showing three different sporting events so I can imagine the craic would be mighty during a bit game. If I'm in Adelaide again I'll definitely re-visit Republic.

Was here for a large function, lunch. Food was ok but I can’t really recommend it, as the price was steep and the options very scarce. There was only 1 working toilet in the ladies room of the three. One had a broken door, one out of order. Crammed in a corner and difficult to mingle. Loud as well, due to several other groups nearby. I think you’d find better options elsewhere

Nice ambience in courtyard area on a Sunday arvo with friends.. Wife and I stayed on for dinner in restaurant. I asked for a medium steak, came out almost blue. Waitress was fantastic and agreed and sent it back to kitchen. Steak was returned rearranged on plate 2 minutes later still rare...couldn't eat it. Credit to young lady we were not changed for the steak. Might skip dinner here in the future...ashame, we live so close to this pub.
