Really awesome vibe, cosy and intellectual. I'm not a huge drinker but am told that they have a great range. They were happy to show us a selection of their gins to help pick from all of their options. I really enjoyed The 88 cocktail I had. A bit pricey but these sorts of places always are, especially drinking such good quality alcohol.

Great cosy bar for lovers of books and booze. Tasty nibbles and snacks along with huge range of local, specialty and international spirits. Fantastic literary themed cocktail menu (strongly recommend the Lord of the rings cocktail) as well as classic cocktail menu. Good for dates or small groups to sit and talk without loud music or chatter, and well suited to the solo bar hopper with a large selection of books to read and cosy corners to sit in as you enjoy your drink.

This has to be my favourite small bar in Adelaide. Set in a book exchange, Extensive selection of whisk(e)ys and other spirits which can be mixed and matched to make your own flights. Cocktails are simply amazing, very creative and well made. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable of what's being served. Small eats available, delicious and reasonably priced. Busy Saturday evenings but winds down around 11:30, it's a good chill out place before calling it a night.

For first timers, the literary inspired cocktails are the ones that come with a show, from smoke infused drinks to a Harry potter drink on fire. The staff are very friendly and happy to find the right drink to meet your tastes.

Classy and laid-back bar in Adelaide CBD, featuring a wide range of classic and unique themed cocktails that'll keep you there all night wanting to taste them all. The cosy, dim-lit bar is perfect for relaxing with a small group of friends, since it doesn't get too busy. Plus learning more about cocktails from the friendly staff and enjoying the spectacle of the creating them is a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing little hidden Gem of Adelaide. You can sit down in a cosy chair and grab a book any time with an amazing Gin and Tonic. Or you can bring your friends along later at night for a laugh and a nice vibrant atmosphere! It's the best of both worlds!

In the afternoon and early evening, this is a great, mellow location. Quiet jazz playing in the background, a tremendous range of whiskies, comfortable seats and surrounded by lots of books. Seriously, who could ask for more. Jake was a brilliant barman.
