The Goodwood hotel was full of people again. A very popular place to dine. There were 5 of us at the table. Two of us ate the ribs which were $30 each, and the others had a pulled pork burger, pizza and a rump steak The ribs were huge with heaps of meat which fell off the bones. Also was served hot crunchy chips and a beautiful fresh salad. We used the entertainment discount. 5 meals and 5 drinks with discount came to $135 We will all be back

We randomly stopped in, on our way home. Went in and found out that they had live music! We went in, masked, and then sat down. We ordered a bubbles and a beer. The singer, on his guitar, was brilliant! We would have stayed longer but we had to drive home. No drink driving. Next time we are taking the tram. It was that good!

We had an Awesome night at the Goody Hotel, catching up with school friends. We sat out on the decking and had our own space. We did have to book the area though and it cost us to do that, so not very happy about that as it doesn't cost you to book anywhere else in the hotel.

Food is nice but I think it's changed hands. No specials board, can always book in advance, no option for half or entrees serves. Meals are big serves which is good if your starving. Ask for vegetables on the side and get roast veggies and no greens

The Goody is a perfect place to go for a drink or a meal with friends and family. The service is friendly and the good sized meals arrive quickly. Very good value for money and the dining room is comfortable. I love that you can linger as long as you like without being rushed out the door. It can be very busy but nothing is too much trouble. I am a regular and it’s the reason I keep coming back!

Our group of 10 for lunch all thought their meals were very good. The meals are generous and not over priced. I had Salmon Pho with prawn dumplings and it was particularly good. Not too salty and lots of greens as well as a generous piece of Atlantic salmon. The dumplings were lovely. The sticky date pudding and Eton Mess desserts went down well too.

This is a very popular and lively Venu. Inside dining and outside, areas are separated to accommodate parties too. The menu would satisfy just about anyone, typical pub grub, but, good sized portions and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and polite.

We held a small dinner/party on Saturday night for my wife's 50th Birthday in the private dining room. Fantastic night. We would highly recommend The Goody. The staff were very accommodating and very helpful. A big thanks to Fran and Tracey for making the night very special and answering my 20 questions. The first time I have been here. The food presentation was excellent - I had the vegetarian lasagne - it arrived on a board along with 2 slices of garlic bread and a fresh Greek salad. The portion sizes are large - I only made it half way through the meal. Service was excellent and meals were delivered promptly.

I have been here several times and have always enjoyed the delicious vegan meals from the dedicated Vegan & Vegetarian section on the menu. My dinner last night there was marred though after my Uncle's wallet was stolen from the ATM he had absentmindedly left on in the lobby. To make things worse (by having no chance of catching the thief) the two CCTV cameras near the ATM were not even operational!

Great food and drinks, awesome service. The cocktails special, including a pop up bar, on Friday's nights in the beer garden is a nice touch. As good as the food is, I would hesitate to order the double burger again, as it was physically too big to eat as a burger. It did taste delicious though, once I'd turned it into two open top rolls

Regular diner and have frequent lunches with our team. I have never been let down by the Goody. The food is consistently high quality and staff are excellent. Plenty of parking and a more private dining room can be booked for a larger group. Good outdoor dining area and beer garden too.

We often try to dine at the Goody but if the only disabled car park is taken we are obliged to move on to another restaurant. With a wheelchair, we need the extra car door space. If there were a couple more suitable car parks, we'd be here more frequently. But we have been here a great many times and we do like the food and the staff.

This has long been our go-to place for an extended family gathering. If you order a minimum amount of food there is a function room you can used which we've found very helpful when we want to have a get together larger than our homes can handle. The location is convenient and the food is tasty. They can cater for gluten free and vegetarian dietary requirements.

Had lovely lamb roast with great lamb roast of the day with vegies and of course could not finish half of it so asked for a container to which a waitress told me she would get me. She just left it on the table to scrape my meal into the container. I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I do not know the policy of taking food home. But it would have been nicer if she could have done it in private like some hotel bistros do even when busy.

Every time I go to the show grounds for 4x4 , caravan, camping shows I have lunch at the goody. Fantastic food and staff second to none. Am I allowed to add half the price than eating at the show food court..

I'm suprised to say ..fantastic. i had the duck terrine with cornichons and ciabatta, it was presented with olives and salad. This meal for $15 was wonderful with a tempranillo..perfect. The meal could be a shared starter but i had it all 🤗. Some of the small bars could learn from this plate.. well done chef keep it going. There were other traditional meals that the rest of the table enjoyed but sometimes it is worth taking a chance on a chefs passion.

The Goody is our local and well deserves its reputation as one of Adelaide's best pubs. The service is always fast and cheerful....two qualities that can be hard to find in Adelaide pubs these days. Excellent food and a great beer garden- we always come home happy after eating or drinking at the Goody!
