Was a great time, and was worth the money. Would do again in a heartbeat - great fun and an awesome icebreaker activity! I tried riding from 3 different positions and can attest that there is an option on this contraption for everyone. 1. I sat on an adjustable seat, and it offered a great opertunity for someone vertically challenged to participate. 2. I sat at the very back in the non-pedalling position and got the oppertunity to photograph and drink peacefully 3. I sat at the very front and copped the Bruny of the pedalling, a great way to work off the beers haha. Recommend this as a great ADL experience!

Fantastic time had by all. Thomas was a really great & fun tour guide. Had heaps of fun pedalling and trying to keep up with rest of the crew. Great music bring played to bop along too. Yummy food at the Crack Kitchen. Would certainly do this again, maybe at night time to experience the Adelaide night lights.

We went on the Handlebar for my 50th birthday, sharing the ride with another group. It was a great night. Perfect distance between stops and plenty of time to stop and have a drink. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole night, and we had a great laugh with the other group too. Highly recommend doing this small local adventure.

It was an unforgettable experience for my family who came to see Adelaide. It really is worth doing, the ideal is that there is a complete group of the same nationality to play the music that everyone wants and feel the same enthusiasm. The only bad thing was that one person in our group had to stand all the time at the bar with the driver even though we had paid for him too. Everything else we liked!

A group of us did this and had an awesome time. It was not too strenuous and our driver Liam was fantastic. We listened to great music, had a few drinks whilst peddling around the streets with stops at pubs for yet a few more drinks! The 2 hours went very quickly and we all had a terrific time.

Needs to be explained only 10 pedalling at one time. 1 would also need to sit in the middle. That was the only negative with a very fun night. Will return again with maybe 12-14.

First time in Adelaide with some friends, looking for things to do and we came across Handlebar online. We booked it for 9 of us and the process was very easy, just had to read through terms and conditions and sign waiver. Our host that night was the wonderful and tall, Tony. Definitely an awesome guy and attractive, entertained us throughout. We stopped at two bars and Tony gave us some time to take pictures right in the centre of the city. Love a good photo op. Highly recommend Handlebar as something to do on your holiday trip or even if you’re a local. Hopefully you get Tony as your guiding star!

Went on the dinner tour last Friday and it was so much fun! Our driver Adam was very friendly and the food was delicious and catered to our needs (vegan and vegetarian). Will definitely try it again and recommend it to others!

The experience was awesome... James was an excellent driver and host. He was friendly and provided us great customer service. We availed the 3 drinks for $15. There were an assortment of drinks: cider, beer, gin tonic (now a new favourite), water, soda too. Stopped at Gilbert Hotel. Loved the chips!

We had an absolute blast with this tour on a very special girls night out. Our driver/bartender Sheldon was super chill and a great sport. Peddling is harder than you'd think, so I'd avoid wearing slip-ons and opt for something with a backstrap. You can play your own music and decorate however you like and you'd just spend the entire night laughing away. Highly recommended!

HandleBar Staff is highly cautious and makes the entire duration of 2 hours engaging and enjoyable while making few stops for grabbing a bite and taking pictures at Vitoria square. A great event out of the norm for a work group, in our case Christmas work party. The stops were well planned and the venues were efficient with having the meals ready for when we arrived. The three entrees were really tasty and the dessert was delicious. We were well looked after by a lovely host Tony.

Thanks to the SA travel vou her scheme we saw Handlebar as a fun alternative for having a drink in a bar. Alex was our host. He was briliant and seemed to be enjoying himself as much as us. I think we were lucky for having a good solid group. The bars we went to were alright I guess but the real fun is have a beer on the bike between the bars. It can be a slog at times so make sure you're fit enough to ride a bike through the flat streets if Adelaide ( there are some seats where you don't need to pedal). It was great fun and we had a ball!

This experience was very unique. Travelling around the city whilst pedalling on a 16 seater travelling carriage. We opted for a Friday night progressive dinner tour. Upon reviewing this online we were under the illusion that the stops were at various places to sit and eat, instead we remained on the carriage and we were given a food item from each stop. Overall the food was not fantastic. It felt very rushed and there was no option you either ate what you were given or missed out. This only impacted us as some of the food items were dry and not fantastic. I realise The HandleBar as a company have no control how that food might come to us but it does reflect a little on the overall tour. In saying that we met some fantastic people on board and it is a great way to socialise and have some fun whilst having a few drinks.

Really enjoyed the experience. It's a bit hard at the begining but after the first stop gets easier and more fun. We had 2 stopes in different bars for around 20 minutes, just enough to finish a beer. Price-wise, it's $35 per person (admission only), then $13 for a combo of 3 drinks of your choice (beer, cider, wine). Any extra drinks ordered in the bars are paid separately as per bar menu. You don't have to drink to be able to participate. Big thanks to our driver/bartender Ethan, he was very friendly and supportive.

The idea of the progressive dinner on Handlebar is great. It was fun pedalling around the streets of Adelaide & stopping at places to eat. We thoroughly enjoy the chicken from MiMi. The 2nd stop was a Thai restaurant. Myself along with a couple of others weren’t keen on the green chicken curry. Not everyone likes or can tolerate spicy food & I didn’t find it enjoyable. My husband & I also felt that a different meat apart from chicken would have been better. The dessert stop at Shibui was good. An interesting mango pudding with mango granita was tasty. Overall the experience was good but a 4th stop would enhance the experience as we were still hungry on completion. Thanks to Thomas for being the driver.

This was a lot of fun. I did this with the staff from the store I work at and we really enjoyed it. We ride around the city and stopped of at a couple of pubs along the way. You don't have to pedal to hard, and if you do, you can have a drink (alcoholic or non alcoholic) to refresh you on the way. The guy who was the 'driver' was good spirited and it seemed like he enjoyed his job (which I imagine could be quite challenging with some groups). For a alternative to a boring pub crawl or boring old team building experience, do this and have some fun along the way.

Great experience at the Handle Bar. We met a great bunch of people and the driver was good too. We went bar hopping to 3 bars as well as drinks on the main cycling bar. The experience costs $35pp and $15 extra for 3 drinks on the cycling bar. Overall took us about 2 hours to finish but great fun. Highly recommend this experience!

The food on the dinner tour is excellent, showcasing a number of cool restaurants around the city. Our host, Thomas, was an absolute legend. The right amount of fun and unobtrusive due care. He kept us cool with plenty of liquid libations and fetched delicious morsels at each stop, which we could enjoy right where we were sitting. A must-do experience! The HandleBar was a top notch experience! The highlight of our trip. We saved the best for last! Highly recommend it if you're headed to Adelaide. Great way to see the city. Excellent value for money ($35) as the tour goes for 2 hours and the drinks package (3 alcoholic drinks for $15) is very generous! We had a blast! It was really cool pedalling and sipping through Adelaide. The pub and Atlantis bar we stopped at were also really cool. Shout out to Thomas for organising our ride and to Daniel for doing a great job of steering the HandleBar in that heavy rain and putting together a great playlist for us to listen to! And the Sydney boys who rode with us were hilarious! TLDR: If you're in Adelaide, do yourself a favour and go on the HandleBar!

I booked the handle bar for my hens show. It was an amazing experience. The boys did a good job serving drinks and allowed us to have so much fun. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to do something a bit different. The only thing I would suggest to improve this business is to have a food package option per person like the drinks. As you don’t stop at the pubs for a long it wasn’t enough time to order anything more then some chips. I would suggest that they work together with the pub and have the food ready for when you get there, As you don’t know what pubs you will stop at, it is hard to know what you can pre order. I think if they were to add a food option in then the pubs could have the food ready on arrival and save us on trying to organise food for a large group. This would especially be good around dinner time so you are eating as well as drinking. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Thanks for making my night so enjoyable.

We celebrated our end of season on the handlebar. We all really enjoyed the handlebar it was great!!! 😁 everyone had an absolute blast and it’s such a cool creative idea for a group gathering/outing. And also it’s great for building team work.. I definitely recommend this to a group looking for something fun and active to do... There is a couple things I think they could do better or different and they are: - we did the $399 booking which included 2 hours on the handlebar but we found that those 2 hours went way too quick and we didn’t get much time at the 2 stops which therefore we didn’t even get time to order and eat anything.. It Would be even better if it was longer than 2 hours and if there was a option pre order food before you got to the stop so it was ready when you arrived. - Alot of the guests and myself personally think that for $399 the 3 drinks that we have on the handlebar should be included in that price. Besides all that we had a great time oh and our driver Daniel was great and he has great customer service with a smile on his face the whole time and genuinely just a great guy Thankyou

The funniest afternoon ever peddling around Adelaide City on the Handlebar Pedal Pub with a couple of rehydration stops at the Gilbert St Hotel and the Franklin Hotel. We had so much fun on the handlebar! Doesn’t matter if you are a local or a tourist you will enjoy this. We laughed the entire time! Our driver was fantastic, and put up with our antics and crazy music choices. We had a great ride around the city and stopped at 2 pubs along the way. They also have a good drink selection at really reasonable prices on the bike. My only con would be the seats are a bit uncomfortable, be prepared for a sore butt... but it’s worth it.

Our driver was a great guy, relaxed, fun and talkative. Goes for a couple of hours. Would be good if could stretch time out a bit longer to fit one more pub in. But overall, very enjoyable.

This was my 2nd tour on the HandleBar bike and I would have given only 4 1/2 stars as I remember giving feedback the first time a couple of years ago that folding steps, especially to the back seat, would be a good idea. Have to be so careful getting on and off to avoid injury. Have heard others mention this as well.

Only downside are the actual pubs that you’re brought to - they’re very meh. There’s lots of cool pubs around, so they should branch out.

Great team bonding opportunity, pedalling through the streets of Adelaide with a breeze through your hair while bopping around to your choice of music, smiles and giggles all around... ours of course was a Latin dance mix and spectators were waving and taking pics as we cruised by... I had a lot of fun. However probably more to do with the crowd I was with. I think every seat should have pedals. By the way the seats are too high of the ground and it's very hard to climb up on the seats. Perhaps a step up is in order. And a strap to safely hold us into the seat...a big fall and potentially dangerous. Drank and exercised at the same time...gotta be good !

We had a really different and fun night on Saturday the 11/3/17 pedalling with other mates on The Handlebar, (Pedal fuelled bar) around the streets of Lovely Adelaide. We were lucky enough to have good weather and Kevin, our Handlebar host was lots of fun and very obliging. We stopped at a few pubs along the way which was great as there are a lot of little pubs in Adelaide that you just don't know about. Good Quality Pubs. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting something different to do as a novelty to definitely try this, you won't be disappointed. Even bring your own music to rock along with. It's like anything you do in life, make your own fun, but in our case it was a lot easier with our American host Kevin.
