Our group enjoyed another great night at the kings head, with live music, tonight was ‘The Groovematics’ great band! Food fresh and tasty, from salads through to Pizza’s. Friendly service too, cheers 🥂 🎵🍾 and with dancing back 💃🕺

This was a fantastic 5 star experience! Got together with a group of mates (8 of us) for a catch up and could not have asked for a better place to go! The 'vibe' was like going to an 'old fashioned' pub in regards to the personal service and the quality of the food and drinks. The food specials are great value and their is a great range of drinks. The schnitty's were fantastic, chips superb and the fish and chips was awesome! Nothing was too much trouble and the recent renovation has really lifted the ambiance to a great level. We had such a great night, we are heading back on 'St Patrick's Day' to celebrate Patrick's Birthday!!!

Went on $10 schnitzel night. Great quality schnittys, salad was great, perfect for spreading over the chips. We had a huge beef schnitty and chicken parmy not as big. Great atmosphere and had a wine tasting next door! Have board games and great beer selection. Also do take away! Just call them.

This is one of my locals and for some reason I don’t love it like I no doubt should. Not sure why. I think on some level the only selling SA sourced everything seems a bit like being told what to do. It’s parochial and rather than being a good thing I feel it fails to make its point. I’ve never eaten here before, my kids have and some friends find it good. As you may be able to see from the photo my schnitzel was on the burnt side, and the peppercorn sauce was not homemade or very nice. Look it’s a very popular spot and apparently the beers are great, but the wine list being limited to SA as it is is too narrow for my tastes.

Low-key and chilled out...you can relax in front of the fire and feel as comfy as in your own living room. Great selection of local beer, and seriously good food! Give yourself a break from the old pub parmy and try a little tapas of really tasty good with a focus on South Aussie produce. Love this place.

Wonderful event to raise money for operation flinders. Great music...many dancing. Food tasty looking ... no gluten free but a lovely range of food not just ordinary. Staff pleasant. Venue ok with some quirky bits like books up high and a toilet with no door... Parking easy and free...Nice surprise. We originally chose to eat dinner here after doing a Google search on where to find a pie floater. However, due to the place being taken over by new owners and a new menu, it wasn’t available. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed some delicious food. Sharing pizzas, antipasto platter, wedges and a chicken schnitzel. The dining room area is well lit and laid out and the service exceptional. The overall venue is really nice and in a gorgeous historical building built in 1848. Highly recommend.

This place has an awesome atmosphere and unique English-pub-style interior. We came here for the $10 schnitzel night on Thursdays, and pleasantly surprised. The meal was served quickly, delicious and great value for money, and included a tasty serving of salad as well. My only (minor) gripe is that the pub seemed understaffed --they were working incredibly hard to provide attentive service to everyone but there was about a 15 minute wait for us to get seated and order our food. Other than that, I would recommend this pub to both tourists and locals --it's certainly a place everyone can enjoy. We look forward to coming back ourselves!

This is a great place to enjoy a casual after work drink. There is a good selection of craft ales with something for everyone. Beers are also available in many sizes from a butcher through to the South Australian pint. The back bar gives you an option of a takeaway growler can of any beer on tap. The connected bottle shop also has a great selection for take home options. The front bar has a port barrel for a great winter warmer.

I found "King's Head Hotel" in a Google list of KETO friendly places in Adelaide. Unfortunately, this was a very old review and the hotel does not feature Keto focussed food. That said, the owners got the chef to prepare something for me which was totally delicious, hit the spot perfectly and was totally Keto. Well done all!

The Kings head has been a favourite of mine for years. The pie floater on their menu just gets better every time. Its pricey but, its so delicious, and the value of it is so good it should be in duty free at ADL international. Beers are cold, atmosphere is trendy & comfortable. Tram stops near the pub so pretty handy for leaving the car at home.

Recently, we held a significant birthday celebration here for a family member. The venue was superb, the staff went out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect & provided phenomenal service, the wine selection was great & the food was beyond amazing! Staff were of great assistance in selecting wines, were more than accommodating with food preferences & expertly tailored an outstanding set menu for the event. Guests at the dinner are still raving about every aspect of the evening. I cannot recommend the overall sensational service for a private function highly enough!

Try the Floating Pie. Fantastic! In the Kings Head you'll find a very small menu but the meals are delicious. Order at the bar and take one of the few places with a glass of good wine and wait for the kangaroo in the pie. If you prefer beer than you will also be lucky here - amazing offer of beer, both, draught and bottled.

Wanted to say a huge thanks to the staff. I came in for dinner with a big group for a bucks party for dinner. I booked ahead and they had a big table set aside and dinner ran perfect. The food is nothing crazy but still delicious and they have daily specials. Good selections of drinks too. 10/10 would King's head again.

Excellent craft beers and some absolute stand outs on the menu, including the short ribs and the cheese burger - I know this is a big call but it's the best burger I have had in Adelaide! I have hosted events here over a few years. The food is good and they have a decent selection of drinks. I have noticed that there is a communication gap between the manager and the kitchen. I always provide specific times for food to arrive during the event. However, they never seemed to get it right. The worst was when we once had to wait for food after the event had finished.

Its the perfect space for small functions with high tables for standing around and talking and networking as well as seats for sitting down and resting or watching a presentation. The space has its own bar which is great and also audio visual equipment for presentations. They also do really nice finger food for functions.

Brilliant! Sturt Street Cellars has a well sourced range of premium and eclectic wines. Well priced too. And craft beer, well, get in there and make it your new playground. Sumptuous. And then I found the 'liquor cabinet' set in the corner. Sends your mind numb, true dinks. Everything is SA sourced, just don't get me started on all the stupendous extras of cold brew coffee, nitro coffee, jerk beans, espresso martini, negroni, cider vinegar, snake oil. Just check this true Adelaide haven of exqusite and exciting fare. You won't only go on there once.
