Great service from Leah. Absolutely loved the steak burger, everything about it was on point. Soft bun, tender steak, good guacamole, and the fries with the chilli salt were excellent. Good atmosphere, would definitely go back any time.

Went there for a private function in the upstairs room and was not disappointed. 3 course meal was delicious. It was a set menue but they gave us options to choose from too (2 for entre, 3 for mains and 2 for dessert). Would go again.

Great meal here for lunch, we tried the house speciality Bibimbap and thoroughly recommend. Small but adequate menu, Huge craft beer selection and wine list with plenty of choice. Plenty of tables and seating options indoor & out. Initially prompt attention at the bar but then not offered menus after we said we want to eat.

Our experience with the Oxford has been amazing , we had a function there recently and the venue and staff were very accommodating and helpful . Charlie is the event manager and helped make our function a very memorable and pleasant experience. The food was on point and exactly as we ordered. Everything we requested we received. Fantastic gluten free and vegan options for my family with various food allergies and intolerances. Wait staff were very attentive, knew the menu well, and had no problem double checking things for us. No problem was too small or too hard. Generous serves of food and very tasty. Attended school reunion from 1969. Had a great meal and better catch up with mates from 50 years ago. We used to go to the Oxford and drink with the local pensioners in the early 70's. Lot of great memories.

Decided to go here because of all the 5 star reviews. It was a mixed experience. The food was pretty good, although they had no T-bone steaks available as the ‘order hadn’t come in yet’. But I wouldn’t recommend if you need gluten free options. They recommended one dish as GF, but it had cous cous in it which is not gluten free. But then they said the Bibimbap was not gluten free as it had bean sprouts in it. I think the manager really didn’t understand what gluten is (or didn’t care). I found the prices a little high for what you got. A steak was $36 which included ‘mash & veg’. Well the mash was a slim streak of mash and the ‘veg’ was a few sprigs of broccoli. In all though we walked away satisfied with our dining experience.

Went in around 12.30pm-Varied menu items, good food, nice atmosphere, impressed with the wait staff doing a check back on quality of food- something that most places do not practice in Australia. Prices are on the higher end for pub meals, but considering our experience there, we would return.

It's alright. The beers here are moderately priced but the selection is pretty good. One of the staff members had a slightly hard time taking my one simple request however. Great location in North adelaide. I've been going there for about 10 years and it's always been a reliable venue for good quality food. I've never had a bad meal there yet. During the well the daily specials are excellent value for money. Only negative is that the wine list starts at around $40 power bottle. Although, the wines have been carefully selected and you won't be disappointed.

What a great place! From the moment you walk in the door the bar staff greet you and the whole place feels very welcoming. It's great to see the chefs at work in the open kitchen. The new renovation looks great and the new winter menu is a great mix of pub classic and modern cuisine with international flavours, fine dining quality dishes at great prices! Our waiter was fantastic, looked after our group and very friendly. Everyone at our table loved the food! I had the buttermilk chicken and it was sensational. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!!!!

We come for drink and position to a very uncomfortable sitting area while the high table in the window they gave to 2 people come after us. I asked to let me know if any free table let me know but they just use excuse with “NO”. Feel disappointed

I had the Chicken schnitzel and it was absolutely amazing. My friend and I got The Espresso martini and The Pornstar martini. They were both extremely nice but very strong. The service was extremely quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back.

After our first choice dinner plans fell through we just started walking up the street browsing for a new restaurant and stumbled into The Oxford Hotel. Lucky us it was schnitty night aswell (score!). Waitress was so bubbly & had a wicked sense of humour. Garlic bread was different to what we were used to being served but it was brilliant! The schnitzel tasted so beautiful. It was cooked to perfection & actually tasted like fresh chicken not processed junk. And don't even get me started on how awesome the gravy was. I don't know what you guys do in the kitchen but oh my god. The atmosphere is great they had music playing & interesting art works all over the place. Thanks everyone for picking up our horrible night we definitely found a keeper! Will be returning in the near future.

I've booked functions through here for over a year now and think they're fantastic. The functions booking system is great (thanks Lincoln) and a recent minor issue with service was addressed, by senior management, the very next morning. Facilities and food quality are always top class and this is a business I really want to keep an ongoing relationship with.

One of the better hotels in Adelaide. The atmosphere is great, especially on later in the week and on the weekend. The service is fantastic with the staff [in my experience] remembering their clientele. We hadn't been there for 4 weeks, but they remembered not only which table we had sat in last time, but also what meals we had ordered [and we only go there monthly]. It could do with a fresh coat of paint, but overall it is one hotel I love going to. Meals are great and reasonably priced.

I visited The Oxford Hotel recently. I could not fault anything at this establishment. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too hard. I had the most delectable Mojito. The stills of the bar staff was second to none. Then the food... OMG!!!!! absolutely delicious. I had the Asian bowl with the sweet potato noodles. It was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. The new art work and furniture has really given this place a much needed face lift. Everyone must get into The Oxford Hotel and see everything that has changed, I know I will definitely be back!!!!!

Wow! BEST pub food EVER!!! And believe me, we've eaten at countless! On holiday from Sydney, we couldn't have asked for a better New Years Eve feed. Super friendly staff, great prices on both drinks and food. Quality of the tapas is better than most high end restaurants. We ordered the chorizo, the pork belly croquettes and the ciabatta with dips & olive oil, bread fresh from the oven, still warm, YUM!!! Massive complements to chef Jess. Such a nice pub too. Comfortable, well furnished, nice decor, tre chic. Not to mention the cocktails, well priced and top notch. HIGHLY recommended!!!
