Great place to hangout with your buddies, vibe is super fun, staff is efficient and friendly. And omggg food is just so amazing we took some chips (so so so good and thin and crispy) Korean chicken and grilled cauliflower salad. Everything tasted very good. We also took some beers, wine and cocktails. Totally fun place to go.

Dropped in on the perfect day as the Friday special lunch deal is a free drink with every large plate. 🍻 Ordered the barramundi and thought the serving size looked a bit small BUT is was actually the perfect amount! The fish was cooked brilliantly and the flavours were amazing especially the grilled piece. The chips with the skin on were also delicious. Topped it all off with a nice cold glass of Stone & Wood. 🍻

Food was okay but overpriced. I am okay with an East End premium but I expect that premium to be reflected in quality. Schnitzels particularly poor on several visits. Staff helpful and patient.

Haven't been here in a long time but came back for quiz. Pleasantly surprised. Nice venue. Snitty wasn't bad but could have done with more chips. Mens toilet screen should probably be changed too as it still very see through.

Good venue for the weekly pub quiz. Food is generally great although one of our burgers came out on the rarer side, so we couldn't finish it. Good drinks selection and very busy with nice atmosphere.

What the schnitzel? Loved the amazing cauliflower schnitzel, my favorite vegetarian pub meal. Devastated to find out it has been removed from the menu. The eggplant schnitzel does not compare. Please consider bringing back the cauliflower schnitzel. From a friendly neighbor and lover of good vegetarian meals.

Just stopped for a quick drink. Nice indoor and outdoor areas. Good overhead heating to keep you warm under the verandah outside. A good spot to watch the hustle of Saturday night. We were there at 11pm. It is a younger group at this time of night.

Great spot to watch the footy. We were visiting from Melbourne and the staff were nice enough to put the Bulldogs v North Good Friday game on the projector for us. Good drinks and really nice food (much better than your typical pub meal).

Great location with park views. Had a large group here for dinner last night, the staff were very friendly and professional. Every person at the table was raving about how good the food was, personally I had a scotch fillet and it was cooked perfectly! Simple menu but done well.

I ordered a medium rare fillet steak. A member of staff informed me that the steak was slightly over done to become medium well-done and gave me a choice of a new one or accept the steak. Due to me due at a Fringe show in 30 mins, plus I'm not that fussy, I accepted. Not only did it turn out a good steak meal, (with chips, red wine jus etc) but they gave me a free drink as well for my trouble. Can't say fairer than that. For their honesty and transparency they get a 5 star review.

Bar staff are friendly, inviting and attentive. The food was absolutely wonderful, from presentation to taste, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the reasonably priced beer followed by the wonderful atmosphere that’s best shared with friends for a game of pool or a delicious dinner. A must visit for people looking for an excellent meal and great atmosphere.

The irony of this place is having tennis racquets and pictures of tennis champions on the walls. But when asked several times can't seem to put on Ash Bartys Wimbledon championship on the TVs. Carlton v Geelong replay is the only option 🙄 Edit: Good response, good to know it was a technical issue and not the team. I will bump it up to 3 stars from 2 because this was an iconic moment in Australian sports, and on the walls in this room is iconic sports moments including Tennis. Surely there could have been some foresight to get the tennis going? Or can take down the Tennis stuff to reduce the irony.

Had a really great meal here before a Fringe show - good price, good food and cheery staff. Loved the fit out too - loved the Parmesan crumbed pork cutlet and even had a side of mushy peas! My father in law couldn't read the menu but friendly bar tender leant him his glasses which was sweet. Great view from the balcony over Rundle St.

Not a casual drinking hole, more for the 'cool' people under 40... Beautiful building and super views onto the parklands from the upstairs verandah. Sadly there are often functions in the upstairs bar which prevents the public accessing the verandah and enjoying the views, meaning the downstairs bar gets too crowded at times. $10 pints

Visiting Australia from England, was greeted by a lovely young lad who was very polite and took very good care of us, didn't catch his name but he was tall and slender with brown hair, great smile!
