Comments of Wined Bar (National Wine Centre of Australia)

Make no mistake, this is a music review.
Close your eyes and imagine... it's 1pm on a Monday, the sun is shining, you've come to a world class wine center to experience the best the region has to offer. You're seated outside, the food is exquisite, the service is friendly. After carefully considering your wine flight, you think about the wine regions across the world and what you're about to experience... And then the music kicks in.
Here's a sample of what was blasting us away — in exact order:
Rhythm of the night
Rhythm is a dancer
Hammer time
Admittedly all bangers, but read the room. Am I at a world class wine center for lunch or working up a sweat in a dive bar at 2am?

Great spot for a coffee and cake. Not a broad selection, but can recommend the caramel cheese cake; coffee is good too. I’m certain there is a vast variety of wines available, should that be your thing, and some nice looking platters. Quite busy but the coffee was delivered quickly and with icy cold glasses of water too.

Great place to experience various wines.. Fun to use wine vending machine for tasting.
Exhibition is rather weak though.

A must visit in Adelaide. Amazing building to see and lovely to sit in for a coffee or a meal. Well set up for functions with a variety of rooms and even beautiful for a wedding.

5 of us went to the wine bar for dinner
The 3 tasting plates of wine were very nice and the waitress explained everything well
Choice of main meals was limited
We all ended up having fish and chips for $30 each and two plates of salade to share $10 each
Wine tasting trio was around $16 each
There were two weddings on. The second wedding which was downstairs was loud, loud, loud. It took 20 minutes for the bridal party and family to be introduced and then there was loud banging in between each introduction
The noise was so deafening we finished up dinner , paid and left without coffee and be desert

Wine o wine..
120 wines to choose from, choose your size drink, insert card ans GO.
Bit on the pricey side especially for the small sample size that only wets your mouth. But a great experince ans a must see for wine lovers. Locates in the surroundings of the botanical gardens

Great idea, food is good and its great to have wines to taste on your own. Seemed a bit pricey just to try some of the wines. But great place to be for tourists.

Really nice there, esp. the lovely garden. I just wanted to visit the wonderful Botanical Garden of Adelaide. And ended up in this wonderful bar. And in a comedy tasting.4 comedians presented from the Fringe festival. And you got a glass of wine. Not too bad. I'll definitely come again these days😍.
Highly recommended if you want to escape the huzzlebuzzle in Rundle Street. Do enjoy it on hot summer days. Always a nize breeze in my favourised garden.
And, as well, a place where you easily can get tickets for Fringe Festival. They have a box office there. And you just stay until evening/night. And you'll have finest comedy/impro. All the nice Fringe events. Just perfect. Actually, more than perfect.
VERY friendly staff there as well. ENJOY YOURSELF!

Tasty food and excellent staff. There are interesting displays about the history of wine making in Australian and in particular to South Australia.

A lovely place for sitting and reading. The wines are wonderful. And I enjoyed the asparagus too!
J. L.
Huge selection of wines which you can self select. Highly recommended if you love your wine

Lovely courtyard on a warm summer night. Picnic rugs provided to sit on the grassed area with wine and snacks from the bar should you like. Great place to meet friends after work in the CBD where conversation isn't drowned out by the music volume. Uncorked nights are great to meet interesting, intelligent people and maybe make new social or professional connections. Service exceptional. Mature, sophisticated and civilised. Professional friendly service. Beautiful location neighbouring the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Highly recommend🍷☺️

What a wonderful place. Came for lunch on a sunny Sunday and sat outside overlooking the Botanic Gardens. The staff are an absolute joy as they were very attentive and helpful. We shared the Charcuterie with three different meats, two cheese, fresh in-house baked bread, great olives, quince paste and muscatels (however we did not get the pate as stated on the menu). Nevertheless all of it was so fresh and delicious and the price of $36 was reasonable and fed both of us. Also enjoyed a great bottle of SA Rose. Looking forward to coming back after a walk around the Botanic Gardens and maybe trying their breakfast menu.

Great food and well-serviced staff.

Took my mum from Italy to Wined for some wine, we ended up having dinner because the food was so incredibly tasty. The live music made the ambience warmer and we loved watching dressed up function guests walk by. We loved it!
B. S.
Great concept with good food and opportunity to sample a wide range of wines at reasonable cost. However best to check whether there is a wedding reception or other likely noisy event, on at the same time in the adjoining function centre, as the noise can be overwhelming.
M. E. C.
Great opportunity to try different wines from all the different Australian wine regions 🍷😊

Beautiful setting in the Adelaide botanical gardens , excellent food and service . Such a relaxing place to enjoy some great wine and food .
J. D.
Great opportunity to taste a large range of wine from the dispensers.

Nice food, well presented. Not the best area to host a Xmas lunch, too noisy. Public passing by the table and staring, definitely didn't feel intimate. Almost cafe like !!! Prices not cheap
V. T.
This was a good way to taste wines from different regions without travelling. There was also a nice art display of acrylics and pencil drawings.
L. R.
Lovely place, excellent service.
D. P.
Nice place to stop and try some wines and other drinks too
D. T.
Great selection of wines to try out. VERY expensive. You are paying for the convenience for certain.
R. C.
Always a great experience, this time with the added bonus of a guitarist/vocalist who was excellent.
M. M.
Wonderful place to taste different wines!
J. L.
Massive wine selection and the tasting platters are a good way to go. Too much to try to dine solo though!
T. C.
Fantastic tasting experience with a generous sharing platter to complement the wine.
A. T.
Nice sticky lamb ribs 👍🏻.

Enjoyed a nice lunch and good wine after a guided walk in the Botanic Gardens.

My happy place, great wine, delicious food and knowledgeable staff.

Really disappointing breakfast served yesterday at the Blackrock session. Even the tea was cold
V. E.
Love their range of quality wines.

Closes to early during daylight savings which is a real shame as it’s a hidden gem.

(Translated) This modern place offers a wide choice of Australian wines. Everything is automatic: you choose a package, you receive a card and you can taste. But it's terribly impersonal. Fortunately, my accent caught the attention of a sommelier and I was entitled to a few explanations. But it was basic.

(Translated) Also for Germans a nice experience. Very tastefully decorated. Great wine tasting.
