I go to the tavern regularly and normally get the half rack ribs for $30. Every time I've had this meal over the past 6 months I've had 6 ribs with a decent amount of meat on them, but last night I was given four very small ribs. For $30 this is very poor value. The waiter informed me that number of ribs served is determined by the weight of the meat, however there was no more meat than there has been previously. *UPDATE. We went back to the tavern last week to try the ribs again, after speaking to the venue manager. Once again we were disappointed by the size of the actual bones and the amount of meat. Such a shame as the portion size used to be excellent.

Had a lovely meal with my son, who I had not seen for a while. The meals were delicious (Rump Steak 🥩/Salad and a Caesar Salad 🥗) and very appetising. The Service was great and we were not left waiting for our meals. To top off the lovely night, my son won the Meat 🍖 Tray which was for the local SES-icing on the cake 🍰. All in all, a really lovely night 🌃.

When they have a proper chef working it's amazing. Both atmosphere, food & staff. However when the chef leaves and they get those catering companies in, it really changes the quality of the food. So it has been hit and miss a few times. When it's good it's amazing though.

Quite good, knowledgeable staff quality pub grub. You can order by QR code from your table BUT BE WARNED you pay a premium for this service and your can't use your Monty's Rewards. I don't use the pokies but they seem modern Lightning link, dragon link etc. Pool tables, Tuesday night Trivia, kid friendly.

This is popular haunt and we absolutely love the tavern. Open doors, good music and something for everyone. We booked in for Mother’s Day and our ten year anniversary and we were treated special from the start. The food was awesome and the staff are friendly and lovely from the management through to all the staff. We had a lovely time and it made our special day even more special. This is a great family pub. Doesn’t try to be anything else. Have been many times over the years with all the family. Never had a bad meal, prices are normal pub prices, service always good and kid’s meals sufficient with a free ice cream at the end. Table service is much more efficient than the old way of lining up, that was a bit cumbersome. Overall great to have it in the neighbourhood.

Unfortunately I have to update my previously given 5-Star Review down to 3. After an update to their menu, their fryer is no longer only gluten free so no more coeliac safe chips or calamari for me :(. Will have to find a new local pub that has more options for safe gluten free meals.

4 of us went to the Bellbowrie Tavern for dinner on Friday night last. The staff were always polite, helpful & very friendly. Our meals arrived all at the same time which is a big plus. The plate presentations were excellent and all agreed that the steaks(3 of the meals ) were of high quality, tasty, tender & cooked to perfection. The fish (1of the meals ) was similarly good quality & nicely cooked. The accompanying salads were of good quality as well. All in all it was a great night out with friends & I’ll definitely look forward to visiting there in the future.

The Bellbowrie Tavern is a local staple. Given it is in a modern building, it is challenging to offer the atmosphere of a an old pub and that is forgiven. Similarly gambling is a revenue-stream, so it blinks and baubles right at the entrance. Our kids like this place a lot. Foods for them are predictable though not exactly healthy options. But hey, we are going out, so this is a treat. When the short people are stretching into pre-nagers and teenagers, they can have a look at the steaks if that is their thing. And those are really good. The outstanding quality of the Tavern is probably the staff. Mostly young local people who do this job with good humour and a friendly spirit. At the bar there is a Tom Cruise competition going on to know who knows it best, does it best and has the funkiest hair-do. Worth visiting for that. Also note that there is a transport bus available if you cannot drive.

The Breakfast at the Bellbowrie Tavern was one of the best Mother’s Day mornings we’ve had. The food through to the staff and service was all Top Notch and the 3 mothers in our group were all looked after like Queens. Special shout out to the staff in the kitchen, Caitlyn, Karen, Forest, Annie and of course to the Boss Lady - Hannah, you all helped to make for a wonderful experience.

Bellbowrie Tavern is by far the most pleasant, exciting and most enjoyable times I’ve had in my pubbing career. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Hannah, Caitlin, Tash and Lily (I think her name was). They went over and above to create a great night for us and supplied us with great chats and friendly service throughout the night. They have great food and drink specials, the night was the highlight of my week. I strongly recommend anyone that’s travelling in the area to come check out the sports bar, restaurant and the friendly staff. They will be sure to make your night one to remember. First time dining at the Bellbowrie Tavern and I will be back, fast service, only took 15 minutes from ordering to have food served, delicious steak cooked to perfection, reminded me of the Hogs Breath cafe steaks. I just had my 30th birthday cocktail style function in the sports bar area on Saturday night and we were absolutely blown away by the team running the night. I couldn't recommend them highly enough for a function!!! The sports bar was privately sectioned off for us, the tables were decorated with tablecloths and colour coordinated helium balloons (additional cost but very reasonable), we were also given a private pool table, dart boards, duke box, toilets and outdoor area. The bar staff were super friendly making many rounds of cocktails for us (which were very reasonably priced) and happily walked around serving the finger food platters to everyone (covid safety protocols followed). Thank you Bellbowrie Tavern for an amazing night! We will certainly be back! If you are looking for a function venue definitely head down to the Bellbowrie Tavern!

I visited the Belbowrie Tavern last night for a meal with friends and just found my new go venue for a great pub meal. The service was great, staff were very friendly, once seated and our meal was ordered it was on the table surprisingly fast. The eye fillet with garlic prawn topper was cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth. Waffles and a generous 3 scoops of a selection of flavoured icecream to share was just the right finish to the night. I'll definitely be back to try out some more of your menu very soon.

Went for dinner there first time since restrictions are opening up. Table service is now a thing which is a welcome addition, though probably part of a covid safe plan. Food and service was really good. Eye fillet steak was very tender. Hats off to the staff as they are obviously spread thin as is everywhere, with even the chef bringing food out. Everything is spaced out nicely inside, with plenty of room around tables.

We frequent the BT on a weekly basis, and have done since it was built, generally good experience. Tonight after making numerous calls to reserve a table, and no answer we decided to drive down only to be told it was booked out, this is a first. Whilst it's great to see it so busy, it's was also very frustrating. As a suggestion, if you are unable to answer the phone at least leave a recording letting your customers know you are fully booked.

I really don't like the queuing to order system and I hate waiting to be offered a table rather than just choose your own table. The food is good for people who like steak and roast and there's a small kids play area. I wish they had done a bigger kids play area and not so much space allocated to pokies. I like that they do coffee as well as alcohol. Not badly priced.

Good food & good prices, my only complaint would be the oysters they used for my oyster Kilpatrick were so small that I thought they weren't worth the money. My 600 gram rump was beautiful and tender with a good serve of verges. My wife loved her eye fillet and the kids had the burgers and steak & ate them all up. Well priced drinks and the young lady behind the bar was lovely. All in all a good night out.

We heard there was a new manager & chef, so we gave the Tavern another go and ordered the courtesy bus which arrived early, so the driver knocked to the front door to let us know the bus was there. It turns out the driver was Chris, the new manager! The service was exceptional, and our meals came out on time and were fresh and consistent so highly recommend you support the local community and give the tavern another go.

The restaurant was busy on new years eve, but still managed to get our food to us in 30mins. The food is always of good quality and fair value for money, with sizable meals at mid ranged prices. There's a regular selection of alcohols and wines at the bar too.

Called to book a table and mentioned it was for my mums birthday and when we arrived they had put balloons on our table without even asking which was lovely! The food was great, not too much of a wait although it was a rather quiet night. My only complaints are the time it took for them to take away our finished dishes, considering it wasn't very busy, and when they did take some away there was a few left over that they took a while to come back for (the plates were stacked at the end of the table so quite obviously we were finished with them). And the time it took for them to make 2 coffees and a tea was over half an hour, I dont think the bar staff were trained in making coffees and had to wait for someone to come and help them. Regardless of these little issues it was still a lovely night out and we will definitely dine there again :)

A good meeting venue for lunch. Have not been there at other times, but have been there for lunch about 10 times, and it continues to improve. There are numerous good cold beers on tap, a good menu for seniors as well as for all others, and a good wine list. Wines are not a bit expensive, but price of meals ranges from very good (seniors menu), to quite reasonable for the general menu. It is not too noisy either. All in all, and enjoyable place for a group meeting for lunch.

Very typical of the new build outer suburban tavern. Clean, well laid, obligatory pokies, efficient and soulless... The menu has a good range with a premium range of steaks but that said the meals don't wow. Staff are efficient and attentive but again, nothing to remark. They do offer a shuttle bus service pick up and drop off so if you take advantage of that you can save a few dollars on uber. In all, just ok.

Quality of the food is very up and down. Steak was nicely cooked but did not live up to the description. I don't think the grazier would have been delighted at all. Salad was too heavy on sour rocket and barely any dressing. My wife did enjoy her baked salmon.

Good place for lunch or dinner. They have a variety of specials available throughout the week so best to check their website. I had the porterhouse steak with chips and salad which was cooked well and went down a treat. You can also view the different types of steak in the fridge next to the order counter before they are cooked to help you decide. Beers/drinks are on the pricey side depending on what you choose but they do have a selection of beer offers if you become a member!!

We just held a function at Bellbowrie tavern and we will be back for every future party we have to throw! From the facilities to the staff, we couldn’t fault a thing! Great venue for families. Has a play room and outdoor /indoor play area. Has a separate sportsman's bar with large screens and fairly casual. Has a pokey area. Food is quite pricey. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Coffee and cake/lunch available through the day, as well as alcohol. Staff is helpful, but can be a bit of a wait for food when busy.

Love coming to the tavern with a Thursday night trivia, and the great staff who are on, especially Steve the bartender. However every week it is a battle to order food and drinks as the Sports Bar is always extremely busy every Thursday night. For the last 6 weeks it has taken us over 20 minutes waiting before ordering food and drink not to mention the food comes out sporadically and some meals are missed. Maybe opening another till on the bar will help. Come on. Help your staff out

I love there steaks and salmon.. Not too expensive but you just have to bring lots and lots of patience as it'll take a while to get your order.. This is not a fast food chain so if you're in a hurry go to maccas.. Maybe if they employ more people in the kitchen than in the dining it'll be much better and i'll give them a perfect score🤗🤗😘😘.. Probably the better end of club meals at mostly reasonable prices. They have some specials including discounts for seniors and local loyalty cards. Evenings are busy and at weekends there is often a wait. Dining is away from the unpleasant bank of pokies. Strategically placed TVs with Foxtel can be of interest or annoying depending on intetest. Best for a quick business or social meal. It's air conditioned which is often essential however their is a large outside seating area well shaded. Need to accept it is basically still club food however if you avoid the chips the veggies have always been fresh... why can't others do the same?

It's the only pub bistro in moggill , they have the monopoly to the eres, very expensive for what they serve and it's not good food at All, inconsistent with their different meals, I would bet if any steak house or a good lisenced cafe opened here they would loose most of their customers, the service is improved a lot since they change the old lots, I really wish they serve food for what they charge...
