This venue is amazing! Held my 21st birthday here, and from the moment I contacted the venue, I was welcomed and looked after. After COVID restrictions being made to continue, I was not expecting a 21st let alone a 21st THIS good. Michelle, Adam and the waitresses/bartenders were absolutely everything you could ask for- welcoming, lovely, attentive, polite & understanding. All my guests were treated so well, the food was amazing and the venue was set up so well. I cannot thank this venue and its staff any more for making my 21st as memorable as it was. 110% would recommend.

Came here for dinner. I had the roast of the day which is roast pork. It’s nice, good value but I’d prefer some crackling. Other friends of mine had steak (the eye fillet) and none of them said it’s good. Very average. It’s kinda dry and chewy. The schnitzel is good. I rang ahead and was spoken to so rudely and was told that the booking was in 12 minutes (actually rand 15 minutes in advance but had to go through three other people to speak to the correct person) and the food was already being cooked. Was told- see what we can do, only to have the meal delivered and had to be paid for by coworkers. Can understand if I didn't call in advance, but the attitude was poor. Won't be going again

I LOVE beer, and I LOVE food. I particularly like these things when they're done perfectly. That's what I found at the Brewhouse in Brisbane. It's taken quite a while for craft beer to become what it has in Queensland. The idea of a "Brew Pub" was lost on many. Happily, that single aspect of life on the west of of the United States has very comfortable made it's way to our shores, and the Brewhouse in Brisbane does real credit to this institution. The selection of beer is vast, the prices are fantastic, and they brew their own beer just down the road a bit. I was quite happy with the atmosphere, mind you, I like it a bit more cosy. Regardless, they've done well with the real estate available. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the overall experience was extremely pleasant. I'm excited to go back, with a designated driver next time!

I had the most amazing 21st function for 70 people in the beer garden at brewhouse on Friday night! The space was beautiful the service was impeccable and food was delicious! The staff (the amazing Adam and Annabel) helped organise, set up and ensured everything’s as perfect for the night and continuously checked in during the night ! A lovely find, Brewhouse is a sort of open plan bar, dining area, beer garden and excellent eatery. The menu has an impressive selection and it would be difficult to imagine anyone not finding something that appealed to them. I initially wondered how they could keep so many fresh ingredients without cutting corners but Brewhouse attracts enough of a crowd on a daily basis for it to be a reasonable proposition. Certainly I was impressed with the crispness of the zucchini flowers I was served; in fact they were amongst the best I've tasted and for a very modest price given the quality. The whole feel of Brewhouse is enjoyable. There's copious use of exposed brick, wood and dark tiles, but it's saved from feeling claustrophobic by it's open, fluid layout and lush hanging plants. For those keen on the 'sports bar' thing there are numerous big screens dotted around the place but they're not overly intrusive. The bar is extremely well stocked and the place prides itself on it's selection of craft beer.

I can’t recommend The Brewhouse highly enough! I recently held my 40th Birthday party in The Corner bar and, from my initial discussions with Michelle, until midnight post party (when trying to herd my indulged guests out), The Brewhouse and it’s staff were fantastic! Food was amazing, even providing gluten and dairy free options for friends. Selection of beer and alcohol was incredible and delicious. The staff were so professional and accommodating - ensuring that the event was seamless and I was able to spend the night enjoying the party rather than worrying about the details. Guests have not stopped raving about the party and I couldn’t have been happier with how it all went.

Hi, Today I had pre ordered the VEGAN CAULIFLOWER BAO TRIO and SZECHUAN BEEF BAO TRIO for my work function. Food was excellent, However imagine my surprise when the cauliflower and beef came wrapped in white buns. Now heres the clincher. a Bao means to me what Pav means to most people, absolutely nothing! except they are what one would call white bread in two neighbouring asian countries. The menu description states nothing of the bread, so I was expecting a bowl of crispy battered cauliflower and spicy beef as suggested in the menu. Don't get me wrong! I gracefully accepted the meals and enjoyed them too. but I was expecting something else to go with my beer, based on the menu description. I'm not sure if you act on public feedback but it would be prudent to mention the white bread just as the other elements of the meal are spelt out. I implore you to update your menu for those of us who are oblivious to what may seem obvious to some. Bao indeed! P.S. the Eumundi Ginger Beer was quite refreshing on this hot summer day. It would've gone amazingly well though with a bowl of crispy batter fried cauliflower and spicy beef! ;)

I've been going here for the last 5 years and even prior to their renovations, I find it hard to pass by without going in for a beer. With a great selection, rotating taps, fillable growlers, good food, and an awesome new beer garden, this place should definitely be on your list.

Fantastic vegan pub food (they offer mostly non vegan, but have awesome vego and vegan options), a great atmosphere in a well ran venue. Great range of awesome craft beers brewed only a kilometre away at their own brewery in West End. The food is priced as expected for a pub, but you receive a meal at a much higher standard than a normal pub. Highly recommend Brewhouse for a nice pub feed with friendly staff and cheap craft beers!

The Brewhouse has an old school feel with original styled pressed tin ceilings in the main dining area blended with clean modern finish. A nice menu with plenty of variety and everyone within the group really happy with the food. Reasonable pricing with nice quality. The main bar has the original steel beams exposed along with the brickwork along with a really nice selection of beers, including many craft brews. For the many Scotts here in Brisbane, I'm told they have the only Tennents on tap. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable on recommending beers. Good service was well managed and nothing seemed to be too hard.

My partner and I already liked this restaurant for the warm atmosphere and the good red wines and beers. But tonight we tried the food and... oh my god. It was seriously the best diner I had since a very long time. I took the spaghetti carbonara which was amazing and so tasty with realy good ingredients, my partner an Angus burger with a true taste of home made (just sad he didn't choose the cooking of the beef). The only criticism I could make is about the pasta themselves ; they didn't seem "fresh" and it would be just as heaven if we could have the taste of fresh pastas in addition to the perfect other ingredients. As a desert I took the vanilla brulee with a home made caramel ice cream (I would sell my soul to have more of this desert - so creamy and tasty), and for my partner an apple crumble still warm and both fondant and crunchy. Definitely worth the price! Thanks to the Brewhouse crew, you made my day so good.

Food was delicious steak had smokey grill flavour and came with a great portion of chips with salad that had capsicum, cucumber and pesto added on top of a standard garden salad which was a nice change from ordinary pub feeds. Beer gravy was light and didnt take away the flavour from meal itself. Service was kind, came in 10minutes early but kitchen was still happy to put my order through. Music playlist was chill and upbeat, great environment for a lunch time visitor like myself. My meal was only $16 with a drink purchase which was great value, will be back again! :)

The jug prices for the standard, but great tasting pale ale are excellent value at $18 a jug and a few bucks lower during happy hour. Out of the city but that is a good thing.

I went to a friend's 30th birthday celebration in the lounge bar on a Saturday night. We found the main bar staff indifferent and less than friendly. The bar food menu was hit and miss. Hot wings were great. I ordered the Vietnamese Pork Roll, which was good. We definitely would not recommend ordering the huge party platter. Luckily, my friends went against staff advice and ordered just one. It was filled with oily, fried corn dogs, haloumi, sausage rolls and spinach triangles. The sweet potato chips were $7, which were overpriced and once cold were inedible. The lounge area could do with fans to keep air circulating. Overall, it's a nice venue and maybe the restaurant food is of higher quality and standard. There's definitely room for improvement.

Went there for the food and was very disappointed. We ordered the ribs and the seafood noodle dish. The ribs were fine, nothing interesting. The seafood dish was very plain yet too spicy. Lots of squid compared to the rest of the seafood ingredients. I won’t be going back. Fish Tacos and Pork Belly Bao night every Tuesday- I was in Brisbane on the right night! WOW! I’m a big fella and I was full on 2 of each - at $3 per piece that’s amazing value- and they were great! I reckon I make the best fish tacos in Australia and these were close second. Blue corn tortillas, pickled slaw and awesome battered fish with a bit of sriracha- this is real, fresh, modern mex - clean eating at its best. Especially when washed down with $8 pints and served with a friendly smile and open warm conversation. Pork belly was juicy, tender and sticky as it should be. I’d almost fly back from Melbourne next Tuesday. Very impressed!

Had dinner there last night (they said it was the first night that they'd reopened the kitchen after changes). One of the best meals I've ever eaten. I had the roast pumpkin salad with feta, basil and roasted cherry tomatoes and it was absolutely amazing. I asked if I could add chicken breast to my dish and they were accommodating. My friend ordered the pulled pork chilli con carne with garden salad and beer battered chips and he also found it amazing. Found a new favourite beer from their tasting on tap and the help of the server who was really helpful. The atmosphere was great to be at on a saturday night. On our second visit, food was ok, beers where nice, but some staff had been great but some need manners, very abrupt . First visit was a busy Saturday early evening ..(with no booking). Told to go elsewhere or “sit on the street”, we obviously chose elsewhere where our party of 5 would be able to be seated politely.

We visited the Brewhouse on a Tuesday evening for a family celebration – four adults and two children (aged 7 and 4). We were given the option of sitting in the main restaurant section or the adjacent lounge area, which we chose. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and understood the menu well, making great recommendations to suit our tastes. As it was our first visit, she took the time to explain the impressive choices on offer and the mix’n’match sides. This is not your average pub fare! Yes, there are beautifully cooked steaks and a chicken parmy on offer, but you can pair these (or a wide array of other unique choices) with your choice of sides like haloumi skewers, maple bacon popcorn, fries and fresh salads. I chose the chicken parmy with sweet potato fries and a salad of fresh beets, pumpkin, greens and feta. The chicken was cooked to perfection – juicy and well-seasoned; and the salad was spectacular. My family also thoroughly enjoyed their steaks, ribs and pork, all cooked to order. My dad is still raving about the ribs – true Texan style with the dry rub. Even better than found in Texas! And well done Brewhouse on a fantastic kids menu – no nasty nuggets or frozen food in sight!! My children loved their tender calamari strips and fresh chips, with a salad designed with kids in mind. I wish we had room for the dessert menu, but with such generous mains and birthday cake waiting at home, we decided to sample the desserts next time. We chose a lovely Spanish Tempranillo to have with our dinner. The Brewhouse is beautifully appointed and the owners have done a fantastic job during the recent renovations. This Brewhouse is a gem, we will definitely be back! Well done Brewhouse.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside but has cemented itself as one of Brisbanes best pubs in my opinion. Awesome beer selection with hard to find seasonal beers including a good range of dark beers. I recommend the coffee stout. What really sets this place apart is the friendliness of the staff, they are more than willing to assist you find something you like and have tastings. Have only eaten here once and monday parmy deals were great. Kudos to management for setting up a venue that exceeds expectations every time i visit.

Great local pub with some of the best brews in brisbane. The Brewhouse meshes perfectly the idea of a traditional local pub with an exceptionally priced and extremely comprehensive Craft beer list. They brew their own stuff out of their new brewery at West End and it is spectacular, some of the best locally brewed stuff in Brisbane. Monday Night schnitzels are amazing, hand crumbed, moist goodies at $10 bucks a pop with potato and slaw. You know the beer is good and the bottles well priced because all the Beer Hospo Kids hit this one up for the speicals.
