Went relatively early on a Sat night and it started off quiet, however it picked up by 8. Staff where friendly and the set up is very fresh and trendy with industrial & vintage vibes. You can find American soul food and BBQ on the menu along with a well stocked themed cocktail list. There is also a pretty impressive list of whisky's and scotch! Food was really fresh and came out very quickly. Our table had an assortment of starters, mains and sides and we couldn't flaw a single thing. Indulgent and flavourful, but not oily or overdone 👌 There's also an upstairs area, toilets, large flat screen TV and trivia nights! Will definitely be back! Keep it up!

Loaded fries with wings and a beer. Food was great. Tasty and generous portions. The one beer cost as much as all the food unfortunately. Relaxed refuge in the CBD lunch hours. I wet on Wednesday for $1 wings and got the lot for $26. Which is fair, though not cheap, even for the CBD. Staff were welcoming and efficient.

My colleagues and I are regulars at Hellcat Maggie for after work drinks. Zoe, Rory and Tony are always friendly and efficient, and make great coffee and cocktails. The food is great too - I’d recommend the fish tacos, popcorn chicken and Karaage Kid burger!

The joint looks decent, but it has a very loud atmosphere. The food I was not a fan of, had the Maggie Mayhem, it wasn't very flavoursome, just very spicy. The short waitress, wearing a red shirt, glasses a frizzy/curly bun hair style, was very rude to my work colleagues and yelled at them that they should have the table number on the right table. Which in fact, it was correct. We had multiple people ordering things using that number. She is obviously not a professional, as I wouldn't expect a hospitality staff member to be so rude. I wouldn't come here again, wasn't a stand-out at all. The rude staff member really set that in stone.

Came across Hellcat Maggie when I was looking for coffee on a Saturday morning. Happy this cafe and bar open next door so I could walk in my PJs for my coffee fix! Truth be told, not many cafes are opened at this side of the city on the weekends. Instantly love the beautiful, industrial and modern decor and feel to this place. Also, excellent and friendly service. Tried their coffee which was good and that latte art was one of a kind! They have a full breakfast menu but I opted for their toasted peanut butter and banana on sourdough, which was refreshing, something simple but also what I felt like having. The drinks and dinner menu also looks good. Can’t wait to come back here with a bunch of friends and try them soon.

Quite an enjoyable place. It was very windy when we visited but not unpleasant. Nice clean seating, fun environment. Staff were friendly and the menu has a simple but good range of things to suit everyone. Weekday lunch specials are popular, go early to get a seat if this is your intention. Alternatively, they do seem to take reservations. The bar is well-stocked too if you're looking for a cheeky indulgence!

Nice atmosphere but the food was mediocre. The wings were really average and no buffalo option? The chicken in the burgers was dry. Loaded fries was really lazy and wasn’t presented very well. Certainly didn’t look like much once it hit the table. I’m really sorry for the bad review, but they need to hear it if they want to get better. There’s definitely better burger options when in the city. Sorry, I won’t go back.

Nice place, clean and tidy, good atmosphere and service, and the house beer is rather tasty, and decently priced to boot. The fries were perfectly salty and crunchy outside and soft inside, and a large side serve at that! And the HCM sauce was delicious for dipping - if only it was a bigger serve as it only did for half of my fries. Only one complaint, the cheeseburger was kind of bland and in need of some sharper flavours. Could definitely benefit from the classic lineup of ketchup and mustard. I mean it's pretty hard to screw up a cheeseburger, but adding lettuce is one surefire way to do it. Still, was a cool place to unwind after work and hang with my favourite girl ☺

I hit up Hellcat Maggie on a Friday for lunch. Man!!! I was blown away. Really awesome vibe, friendly staff and it was bigger than I thought. I loved everything on the menu. Was hard to pick one. The cheeseburger won for me, and some fries. I couldn't believe the prices either. So affordable for what you get. Also checked out the cocktail menu, and I can't wait to come back at night to try them. Some of the reviews below are outright harsh and obviously do not understand patience when new restaurants are building business. I never mind waiting a bit for amazing food, and that's what Hellcat Maggie delivered. Seriously so excited to watch this space grow. I'll be telling all my mates to check it out.

I recently had to find a venue to accommodate a large party of people for a work farewell lunch. Many venues were not keen on 30+ people and only offered very limited set menus. Hellcat Maggies was the only place happy to accommodate us and still offer their full menu (only asked that we pre-ordered with 24 hours notice). Booked a whole month in advance and got several emails confirming it was booked in. When we arrived they said they didn’t have enough staff to put a table together for us. Had to sit outside because they were the only large tables despite the restaurant being empty and then the rain began to blow in. Despite being the only diners we were not shown any flexibility.
