Great little pub! The food is amazing! The chefs never disappoint my kids and i and the manager Jude is always so kind and goes above and beyond to make you feel valued. I frequent this pub on a weekly basis now. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.

Dined in today and we had an overall Amazing Experience. Lovely food, Great drinks, comfortable pub. Great Hospitality. . We wanted to specifically mention the gentleman who served us Rakesh. Great Conversation, has an exceptional Humour sense and great Attentiveness. He has made us feel so special. Great to see new people in the Pub who hold great values and passion for patrons . Did not come in for a while but Definitely Recommend Kensington to all our friends and would definitely be coming more often. At last thanks for the cooking tips.

Booked a table but it was so quiet we probably didn't need to. Menu is online but I still called to chat and was able to talk to a decent human being who was helpful. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Digital ordering at the table was quick and easy. Drinks came out fast and dinner followed. Ordered a simple steak and wasn't disappointed as well as the ribs which were incredibly delicious. Only thing missing is live music but still 5/5 :)

Last night we had our sons birthday dinner at the Kensington I can not recommend Jude and the team enough. The staff were so friendly and efficient especially one bar lady Christina nothing was a problem for them especially being that we had such a big group to wait on. We decided to choose Kensington after a few recommendations from our mates. Walked into the restaurant and found a few people in for a Sunday. Ordered our Steaks. After a long time had fantastic Steaks. Juicy, Tender, Quality Steak, Flavoursome sauces & rightly cooked the way we wanted. Was told the Chef was from KIWI. Compliments. Wanted a special mention on the Attentive Staff & Impeccable Service , my partner just sneezed and napkins were just placed on our tables. What an Amazing evening. Thank you Ragish ( did not know if I Spelled right). As said we loved your Cologne. You were super nice to chat and thank you for the name of cologne.... Have asked Peter to buy them. Check out the Local Kengsinton Tavern, it's great for kids, meals are always a big hit, so is the play area, for the adults, pokies, regular good entertainment, but you will be more than happy with vast range, portion, and cheap prices are so affordable. Especially for the quality of the meals, they will make you want to keep going back. The meat melts in your mouth. The staff make a friendly atmosphere, with clean, freshly updated interior, tidy, pleasant, very approachable staff are always professional and courteous. It's a great experience no matter where you sit or the reason you go there. Complements to the Chief and kitchen staff also the management for the best Local Tavern and eating out pub style in Brisbane or Queensland I think as do all my family it's now a regular standard once a week or fortnight evening for dinner for our family. Thanks to all the staff for making our last few experiences so good we can not imagine going elsewhere now. Keep up the great standards and hard work it's paying off as everyone I speak to about the Tavern all say the same as we do regarding the Kengsinton Tavern.

I came here on Mother's Day, 2021. By the time I am writing this, I am sitting happily within the tavern. The steak and gravy was delectable and the chips were crispy. I really enjoyed this place and I would recommend a visit to anyone I meet! 5/5 stars.

Melita went out of his way to accomodate everyone and made everyone in the function room feel welcome and well looked after. Been going here for years for the odd drink or meal. Last Tuesday had lunch out for first time since restrictions eased up and it didn't disappoint. Seems maybe like new management? Service was a bit slow but I think they were understaffed/under pump with the demand maybe catching them off guard. But the food was amazing. Took my son back that evening (it was his 14th birthday) and played a few games of pool with him in the sports bar and again happy service and well looked after. Maybe it was because it was a Tuesday but it also seemed the local "bogans" that would frequent were not around.. the other patrons in the sports bar were cheering my boy on to try pants his dad. Keep it up kenso...it def felt like apples to oranges compared to 12 months ago

I have eaten at the Kensington Hotel on many of occasions over the past 20 years and the food and the service is always second to none same with the prices. The staff are so friendly and polite and very helpful and they make you feel really welcome and nothing is to much trouble. It is also a family friendly place for the kids of all ages. The games room is always clean and fresh same as the toilets. I recommend this as a very happy and enjoyable place to go out just for the night or for dinner either as a group or a couple or even as a family.

My partner, her son and I visit the Kensington tavern probably every month or there abouts, I have always found the meals to be good quality and value for money, the kitchen is always clean and the kids under 12 eat free is a massive plus when we think about a going out for a meal. Along with that, ALL the staff are well mannered, well presented, helpful and they all seem to be happy to be there and enjoy their work. All that I have mentioned is a reflection on the staff and management alike and it appears they all work well as a team. Giving a five star rating is unheard of for me, but in this case I can say they have earned them and I recommend a visit to find out for your self 👍

Great very friendly staff a nice place to have an relaxing drink after a hard days riding in the mountains with the motorcycle.. As per the norm they have a selection of Beer on tap served Ice cold.. Which just so happens to be my preferred temperature for drinking a beer. As for entertainment there is no lack thereof.. and the staff will try their best to make all newcomers feel at home and to join in the fun... I will definitely be back when I am able to catch a break and take the bike out for a ride...

The food was great the chefs did very well only 4 star's because the waitress that took our order let the team down she took forever to take our order & somehow still managed to take it wrong didn't give the right information to the chef we watched as she walked past our entres so a frustrated chef had to bring it out she forgot to bring a steak knife with my meal which took another 5mins for her to notice me standing at the counter so I could ask again for one she also forgot to bring out the sauce to go with my steak which ment I had to go back up to ask for it but again the chefs did cook a great meal
