Came across a good deal for this cute burger bar online and really enjoyed it. Finally found it in the little street behind commonwealth bank after a good look. The entrance smelled nice, received very friendly service and the food was tasty. There’s nothing quite like a freshly made burger. Meal size was good although my eyes are always bigger than my stomach so I couldn’t finish my chips. I think it converts into a club at night(?) so it was a bit dark inside but it’s a fantastic out-of-the-way place that offers privacy away from the usual food court. Order and pay at the bar, wait at your table and enjoy 😉

(20.10.2019) Beautiful space, food was nice, downside was the 35 min wait for food with a quiet venue. No doubt it will improve :) We had the waffles with bacon and banana. Amazing combo but needed more sauce (or maybe sauce seperate) as the bottom waffle was dry. Lastly we had the big breakfast which was literally massive. Great flavours, loved the spicy beans and the amount of halloumi on it ❤️. Definitely some teething problems but no doubt it’ll be great. Staff were very apologetic about the delay, and the prices were reasonable :)

I used to go there when it was Rosie's Tavern back in the 80s and it is even better now. The bar manager is just an absolute legend, incredibly courteous and accommodating .The food is unbelievable. You have to try the brisket burger, if you don't there is something wrong with you. I have nothing bad to say about this place and I'm actually a very demanding person when it comes to service and atmosphere went out about.

Came here with a friend on a Tues evening at start of Dec and felt quite busy in a nice way. Sat in a booth and would probably recommend 2-4ppl max as music can get quite loud to talk over. Gives a basement level downstairs jazz bar/diner vibe. Food was deelish!! Vegan burger, cauliflowers and buddha bowl were decent size and so reasonably priced. Will return, thanks team!

One of Brisbane's best hidden secrets!! Fantastic atmosphere in this cosy little bar, down an alley & below street level. The staff are excellent - very friendly, & happy to guide you with good & drink choices. Really enjoyed the wings and the burgers. Well-prepared & tasted great! Happy hour ($5 schooners) on weekdays is an absolute bargain. Seriously - do yourself a favour! Whether it's a date night, a few mates, or a larger group, Miss Demeanour is a cracking spot... 😁

Decided to try out a new place (new for us, this place has been here a while) and walked on over to Miss Demeanor to check it out 🤔😊 . As you walk in, there are tables nicely space out, along with the back wall where there a sofa booth type tables facing back towards the counter bar area 👍🏼 . Tried the Pulled Pork burger with slaw and chips today - pretty generous portions and my pulled pork was saucy and still tender 🤤🤤 not bad at all, might need to come back to try the 50c wings next time! 🤭🤭

I can not speak highly enough of this venue. Bar staff were exceptional knowledgeable on cocktails and flavours, had phenomenal customer service really made it a great experience! Food was tasty and MASSIVE the cocktails were made with love, effort has gone into garnishing and they gave their drinks a story not just “hey here’s ya drink” kind of thing. Great work guys if I could give you 6 stars I would! Can’t wait to come back.

Decided to try somewhere we hadn't been. Our food was a little below average, but maybe that wasn't normal. My burger had bacon on it which was dry and tough more like bacon jerky. It wasn't what is expected. The other member of my party had calamari that they described as oily and tough. Certainly wasn't what you'd expect for the cost. Service was good and the atmosphere was pretty good too.

My partner took me to Miss D’s for my birthday and ever since then, we have been OBSESSED with this place, it is our new “go-to” restaurant. I love the quality of the food we get, and the price for our meals are amazing. I also love the vibes Miss D’s gives out. The staff are so accommodating and polite, I cannot recommend this place enough.

My new favourite coffee joint! I was amazed to hear they have created their own blend of coffee that is served only in Miss Demeanour. The cocktails and craft beer selection look amazing with Happy Hour every day from 5-7pm. I was told DJs play until 3am on Friday and Saturday night, this place is such a great find in Brisbane City, great to see our Lane Ways coming to life.

Walked past twice with colleagues looking for a lunch spot and decided third time must be the charm so went on in.. and an i just say WOW I'm glad we did! Very filling lunch and perfect ambiance for a chat and chill during business hours. If I ate lunch out everyday this would be my go to, have now stopped by the last two morrings for my coffee before work and will be back to try their craft beers this week end.

Found this little gem, hidden just off Edward street down Rowes lane. As soon as I walked in i felt welcomed, the staff greeted me and took us over to one off the booths, we got the grand one in the corner! The venue is just beautiful! Original sand stone walls, leather booths, fantastic looking bar with a huge range of spirits and beers and a stage for live music and dj's! Our plan was only to pop down for a "quick" drink but ended up staying there for 3 hours! The highlights were the Cherry coke old fashioned, The Currumbin Valley Grape Bubble Gum Sour and a glass of Latte Viognier wine. The food was delicious too! We had the brisket burger, loaded fries and the crisp cauliflower wings. If you haven't been, trust me....It's worth the visit!

Breakfast and Coffee are on point. Staff are really friendly and this place has such a nice vibe. One of the coolest under ground hang outs I have seen with a very Melbourne feel in the heart of Brisbane City. There are a lot of Vegetarian and Vegan options which is great to see and I will be returning to try them all and to get my fair share of the Happy Hours. Found this little gem down Rowe’s Lane while walking through Brisbane City. Was really surprised how many Vegetarian & Vegan dishes were on the menu. We had amazing coffee that the lovely staff said is their own blend, I have to say was one of the best coffees I have tried. After river fire I can back to try some of the many Craft Beers and place was pumping with a DJ and great crowd on the dance floor. This will be my new hang out.

Amazing! Great little hideaway near the bottom of the Queen street mall. Great food and we were impressed with the gluten free and vegan options available (ps the shroom bagel is an absolute winner). The coffees here are the best we have had in the city. We will for sure be back!

Hidden in plain sight is this little gem long overdue for this inner Brisbane precinct. We Found Miss Demeaner on Rowe’s Lane off Edwards Street just down from the Queen Street Mall. Walk downstairs through the portal of Rose Murals, which is a tribute to the original Rowe’s Cafe from mid last century, to find the exposed subterranean sandstone walls of the historic Rowe’s building creating an instant curiosity and a feeling of knowing I wanted to be here. The welcoming and professional staff together with a great food choice from a well thought out menu and broad selection of Craft Beers and Cocktails ensures we will return.

This place is great. It's hidden away in this cute little alley. I went with some friends last night. We got a couple Burgers and some Share plates. One of us ate the Brisket Burger and he wouldn't share. Another ate all the wings, that we were supposed to share. I did get a couple and they were delicious.I split the Fried Chicken Burger with the other guy. Delicious again. We shared, the Croquets, Potato Skins and Cauliflower. The Potato Skins were great as an American Expat they are a real treat to have. The Croquets had a great sauce with them and were just presented beautifully. I liked the cauliflower the otherguys were like, "Cauliflower?" .....their loss Great place had some good live music when we arrived. Afterwards the music was good. Don't remember it too much we just had a great time... Thanks Heaps guys.
