First visit at Mr Edward's Alehouse & Kitchen during the evening of 26/01/22. Very quiet on our arrival with a few diners sitting outside & only 4 diners inside. Reasonable menu choices/prices & only waited approx. 10-15 mins to be served. Large portion size meals & friendly staff.

Very lovely place. Inside and outside sitting available. Absolutely great service! We went there on a very busy time on Friday lunchtime. The stuff help us to find a great table outside. Ordering system is quite cool - tap your phone (or scan QR code) than order and pay online. They had great variety of craft beers and ale. Had a special burger and pint for $15 - great price for a delicious burger and tasty ale. Would definitely visit the place again!

Wow !! This Hidden Treasure is the Real Deal ... Service was great and selection of Whiskeys etc and drinks exceptional. The Food ..OMG .. the Mr Edward's Royal Burger, Spinach and Artichoke Dip , Neo-Classic Wings and Chicken tenders were next level... I have eaten all over the place, but this place served up the best enjoyable food, decor and clean casual dining at it's best .. We will be back.

We booked for dinner at Mr Edward's Saturday night. It was great. They have nightly specials. When we visited they had a free basic drink with your meal. All drinks are reasonable prices. Meals were of a high standard at a good price. Great spot too. Staff were very friendly and happy.

I like the ambience and the beer. The food wasn't that great but it was very affordable. We ordered medium rare steak and it came out as medium, the pork ribs were a bit dry and not enough sauce. Overall it was reasonable, will definitely be back for the beer.

Visited at lunch; table of three. We were regularly checked in on, offered drink service and asked if our meals were suitable. I had the grilled barramundi. It was fresh, light & well cooked. The vegetable sandwich & daily cheese burger special were very good size portions.

Great food at good prices. Very disappointing that they will not allow dogs. I was a regular. Now i go to atomic coffee closeby who welcome me and my dogs. Guys, you need to get with the times on this matter.

Great prices and tried the parma on $20 parma and pint, very considerable portion of schnitzel considering the price. However, the parma was a slightly overdone and lacked enough sauce and cheese. The wait time was 30 minutes but understandable as it was evening time and very busy. Overall great and friendly staff just slight changes could make it tremendous.

I'll challenge anyone who can find a better weekday lunch special in the Frog Hollow precinct or the city for that Matter. Mr Edwards has brought it to the table with their $15 burger and beer 🍺 pint special. It's become a once a weekly migration for our office. Ohh, it's has a great selection of tap and craft beer.

My husband was not happy with the steak. There was not enough jus as you can see in the photo & over-cooked, but we waited so long to get our mains that he didn't want to send it back. The table behind us complained about the delay in meals as well & the kitchen weren't busy. I enjoyed the salmon & the chips were great. This was our first visit. The toilets were not very clean either.

This is a really good pub with great food, cold beer and friendly staff. It's indoors or outdoors which is good especially on a Barmy night. Well worth a visit.

Very lively on a Friday afternoon at half past two. I liked the atmosphere and the decor and they have 8 (?) different craft beers on tap. I had the Dangerous Lager which was I found, good but not too different from the other lagers out there but it was served icy cold which just hit the spot for me. My wife had the iced coffee which was very good. We didn’t try the food though so I can’t comment on that. No view, just an awesome bar ambience.

Wonderful dinner. Highly recommend the fried root vegetables with aioli. The chef charcuteries board is also a winner. The brownie with butterscotch sauce is the perfect sweet treat.

Food was well priced, Coffee & Brekky burger for $8. Unfortunately the coffee was in competition for one of the worst I’ve had - this could be due to the volume that they had to pump out (place was at capacity with an event on in the City - which also contributed to the long wait for food). The burger was good, relish was tasty and bun toasted perfectly. Our waitress was well presented and friendly.

This place is amazing! I was at a hotel for three days and just happened to find this place. I had the vegan burger for all three days and absolutely loved it!! The prices are amazing for the large plates of food, the environment is welcoming and the customer service is great. I definitely recommend coming here with your friends or family.

Firstly, I'll start with the positive. The girl at the entrance was extremely lovely and welcoming. We chose to sit outside on a beautiful day and the seating area was perfect. Food was delicious. The reason why I'm giving less than five stars is because of the Job Ruiner sitting on the table that we were forced to use. So how it works is there are no menus and you have to scan using your phone to access the menu and to order and pay. I asked for a physical menu (and let me reiterate, the staff was super nice) but there were none available. Phone or nothing (they did offer me an ipad). I'd prefer a physical menu so I can see everything at once. I can empathise that it's probably more hygienic due to covid not having them, however I also am angry that by having us forced to use these stupid impersonal devices it meant there were less jobs for staff. There are people begging for jobs and yet a restaurant is putting people out of jobs. There was no service (expect for a door person ushering us to a table) and I felt like the whole experience wasn't any better than ordering take out from home. I'd prefer to support jobs and have someone serve me.
