A great little venue with an alternative edge which doesn't ram any particular genre down your throat. Designed to impart grungey appeal, a dedicated sticker wall and strategically placed historic band posters hint at legendary rock venues such as CBGB, yet the place is crisp and clean. Hanging string lights, neon accents and a beer can backdrop mural set the tone, allowing the alternative clientele to become the decor. I'd heard this was a 'tiny little dive bar' and was expecting an underground, coffin-like experience. I was pleasantly surprised as while it's certainly an intimate venue, it's much roomier and airier than I'd been led to believe. Tucked away at ground level in the Warner Street nook of the valley, the available space is used effectively. A choice of seating options skirt a dance floor amply capable of accommodating a group of groovers. Fronting the room is a stage that admittedly would be a challenge for a 5 piece band, but ample for a dj or smaller act. High set table and chairs in the adjoining bar area provide a space away from the activity for those who would rather sit and chat. The staff were lovely and the bar, well-stocked. What more could you want?

Goes for a dive bar aesthetic, misses, but it's still a fun and funky joint. Beer is good, crowd is jolly. Could realign the stage area to west-east but its no big, I guess. Enjoyed.

This is one of our favourite bars in the Valley, hidden away from the main precinct it’s a great place for a quiet drink. The décor and lighting make it an inviting space and the very friendly staff always make you feel welcome. Highly recommended for a drink or three.

Great small bar, love the bar staff so much. Sometimes the DJ’s have the music a little too loud for a sitting and talking audience (the speakers are directly above your head and maybe not the best quality) - all for it for later at night but not when it’s early and no one is dancing yet!

I freakin love Barbara. Always playing great skill and funk. The service is top notch. Seriously. These guys know what they are doing. We came back a month after our first visit and the barman remembered our drink order. Everywhere else in the valley is dead to me now. Barbara for Prime Minister.

this bar has fun old school rnb and hip hop tunes to dance too. the bar staff were really friendly, helpful and seemed to really know there stuff. shoutout to the barman sam who made me a fun cocktail after sussing out what my taste preferences were.

This trendy bar is set just around the corner from the Valley's main strip. Featuring a clean vibrant interior, token dancefloor, and constant rotation of interesting drinks, this bar is where you'd go to feel like a Manhattan artist in the midst of Brisbane. Only criticism is that the drinks can be expensive.
