Perfect place to have some drinks and snacks with friends or couple. The food is very beautifil. The chicken wings are so yummy 😋😋

This is a large venue with multiple bars. The front bar is very much an old school pub, while the Botanical bar is a modern bar with lots of greenery and is also the main dining room area. We sat near the huge television and watched the final of the Australian Open and having such a large TV really made for great viewing. The meals are very generous and delicious and the staff were all quite friendly.

The Bartamundi spiced avocado salad was to die for! And i can't forget to mention the battered prawns and the smoked pork sausage dish! We were a group of 6 and all of us cannot wait to come back to see whats next on the menu!

As a local, this isn't my first choice for somewhere to eat as I find the food can be hit and miss depending on the time of day - expensive too. But it's a great spot to have on my doorstep for a couple of drinks or for live sport.

Went there for a private function and when I let the guy on the door know why we were there the response was a sarcastic half smart reply. Thanks to the girl who actually worked out we needed some direction as to where to go. Barstaff in the private function room were terrific perhaps the guy on the door might take some lessons off he's fellow staff.

Not been here before, but it was ok. Took a while to get the food once we were served... and there were hardly any customers about. I ordered the lamb and rosemary pie, but it looked like something you get for $6 at the local pie shop. Pretty sure it wasn't made on site. I definitely wouldn't rush back here.

Had my 21st event here at the QA Hotel in the Farrier bar downstairs. Amazing venue, great atmosphere, everyone loved it! The staff provided exceptional service and I could not speak highly enough of them. The functions manager Amy, made the planning process so simple and stress-free. Our bartender Nathan was super amazing and really made sure I had the best night possible. The team are evidently very passionate about what they do. If you want a great night and great service, the QA Hotel is the place to go! Thanks again to the team for making my night one to remember.

At QA Hotel and we didn’t have a booking and Shane went beyond to accommodate us. We sat at a table in the Pizza Area. He checked on us periodically and ensured we were being looked after. Meals excellent and fantastic service.

First visit to QA Hotel, a Monday arvo. Fairly quiet as you'd expect which was nice. Place was well presented, clean and tidy. House rum was Bundy small batch, ran about $10 a glass with cc surcharge. Surcharge is tiny and made very clear on the bar what it is and why, a nice change. Tried many other rums they had on offer, everything was $10 a glass except one, it was $9. Maybe there was a special running, seemed strange that everything was $10 or less. We had some food, selected from a large menu and get up and order. Everything we got was perfect. Some high risk items, where typically at a pub you expect quality might be average - chips and gravy for instance is a common one. Not at QA, it was all fresh, hot and very tasty. List we tried were chips, gravy, calamari, garlic pizza, meat lovers pizza, arancini & bruschetta. Good prices, good portions and so surprisingly delicious. Staff were all super friendly as well. Can't wait for next visit.

We recently had my husband's 50th birthday in the king room at the QA. I must say the food was fabulous, the service was fantastic and Amy the functions manager had everything organised perfectly. Our bar staff were so friendly and really helped make the night memorable. Highly recommended!!

Food and atmosphere was really good. Only down side there was no chilli/heat warning on the meal I chose so that was an interesting meal... even though it was spicy the duck noodle stir fry was very tasty. Would recommend putting chilli warning on the menu for that one.

Love this pub, good friendly atmosphere, pool table, range of beers (could do with a bit more variety in the ales on tap but has the usuals), good food at good prices, check out the lunchtime specials for $15 bucks. Great trivia on a Wednesday evening. Plenty of sport on the TV ample seating and lots of natural light. Even tables on the pavement out front if you fancy being in the open. What's to complain about!

Second time dining here today and so far I'm impressed. Took my two daughters for an early lunch, the restaurant area wasn't busy (yet) so we were able to pick a large table near the kitchen area where it's quieter. Located on James St which is a great location in itself. Easy and extensive menu, good prices. Good kids menu- my daughter's loved the food and the food was plentiful for a kids menu. I had the grilled snapper this time, cooked perfectly and delicious. Friendly and polite wait staff especially the lovely lady at the bar. Clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. I think they are undergoing renovations but there was no noise and it was a pleasant dining experience both times I have been here. I think I might make it a Thursday tradition even when I'm by myself!

A really nice atmosphere. Newly renovated i like it. Great selection of beers and two great bars. And the old stables restaurant down stairs, such character. Apparently it has a few function facilities as well. Staff were great i had a fantastic night. Something for everyone!

We had my son's 21st party in the Crown Room. The whole experience was great, from my first enquiry. The Crown Room is an excellent venue, having its own bathroom and balcony for the smokers. Fantastic experience. Was there on Sunday night at 7pm with two 9 yo boys and a six year old while for about an hour. Food was beautifully cooked and and great value. Considering they dont normally cater for children, I was really impressed with the way we were lookef after by all the staff here. QA Hotel had a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. I stayed for lunch which in my opinion was a great pub lunch. Their coffee I was told was very average and I was unable to purchase Chai Tea. Their service was very good.

Kitchen lost our ticket due to internet issues. Probably wouldnt return if Hayley didn't turn our experience around. Excellent customer service and friendly from she realised the issue. This was after kitchen server didn't even bother to look up order again and brought half the order. Good on you Hayley, you've won a return customer.

I came here for a networking event and had a great time. The property is clean and well presented but some staff interactions were a little lacking on the night. I don't doubt this was an isolated event though rather than the norm. Id recommend checking it out it really is a nice place.
