I came here for lunch yesterday with a few family members, my first visit. This is certainly a fascinating place, with a blend of old charm and a trendy dining experience. The menu is very extensive, and offers a good selection of gluten-free options. I really enjoyed my gluten-free American cheese burger, a rare treat. Servings were more than we could devour, and we could take home the leftovers! The restaurant was very busy, but service was quick and the staff were very nice. We will be back!

A really nice place for good food and prompt service. Our family went during the lunch rush and still had a lovely time. Not too loud, they regularly came back to check for drink orders. Great food too, wish we had gotten a full rack of ribs instead of the half because they were so tender and tasty; fall off the bone, even just pull them out clean. We will definitely be back

Such a great pub vibe. I really like this place and I'm ashamed I've never reviewed it before.. The food is well priced but if you get the big breakfast, ask them for hollandaise sauce as extra, you won't regret it 😉 I highly recommend you have breakfast inside though. Lots of people smoke outside and even as a smoker myself it's just rude members of the public and nothing to do with the venue themselves.

Always love the food but ,the photos on the app they recommend you order through is misleading. The ribs does not look like or include items in the photo. I did point this out about 2 months ago when I first visited but I have ordered it (because yumm) a couple of times since and the photo has remained the same showing corn/beans and wedges. The meal comes with just ribs and chips. Would appreciate photos that match what is being ordered. Pumpkin and feta salad with prawns Is also yum! Ordering at counter is often a slow process. Very good covid protocol. Friendly staff.

Had dinner there for the second time. Both times I had the rump steak and found it to be perfectly cooked to my liking. My sister had the salmon and and had to salute the chef also... we shared a cheese cake and iceream. Wow it was the best desert I can remember. It must be experienced.

Love this place, great location easy access fantastic atmosphere tasty menu both in the bar and the restaurant. Really good pub atmosphere as to be expected for brisbane. For coffee lovers this is a great location as the Caffè for a coffee or associated goods to start your day are available from 6am. Majority of staff are fantastic and would easily go out of their way to help. Never had a problem here and i consider it my local.

After I read all the five 🌟 reviews I thought that lunch was going to be something special, but alas I left a little disappointed. Maybe I set my expectations to high. The prices seemed expensive for what was an extremely ordinary meal. Staff were friendly.

I haven’t been here for ages and my was I surprised! Saturday lunch catch up with some friends, this was a good central meeting place. The food was fantastic (crispy salmon with couscous), reasonably priced, and the atmosphere great. Service was also on point. Looking forward to coming over again. Great staff,helpful,clean and multiple areas makes for comfortable and easy day at the stones corner pub. I haven't been there since the double Vax enforcement so all my experiences over the last few decades have been before all the certificates so sadly I'd say double jabs only.....was fun while it lasted but. For very long time this pub has been well-known not only the locals but for it's exceptional customer service to all and any....no matter what race,religion or life choices and life's mistakes. That's why this pub is loved by all.....well was like I said i haven't been since the double jab certificate so all my experiences were prior to double Vax dictatorship in aust.

The food here was good. I had the double cheeseburger, it was very tasty. I thought it was as good as some of the burger places closer to the cbd. Prices are also about the same. The chocolate brownie was gooey and delicious. Decent range of drinks. Laid back atmosphere, service was pleasant and efficient and good opening hours. If you're in the area and need somewhere to eat this is a solid option.

We drive for at least 45 minutes one way to frequent this wonderful Pub at least once a week often more. It is a beautifully restored Queensland Pub that has been very tastefully done with respect to Stones Cnr both past and present. Its Ambience is relaxing and very conducive to spending quality time in communication with that Special Person. Food Fare is very comprehensive well presented and nourishing and extremely well priced. The Greatest Asset of this Fine Establishment is without doubt the Staff! They are Friendly, Attentive and Extremely Polite and a credit to the management and owners of Stones Cnr Pub A must visit You won't be disappointed and for us an oasis to escape the busyness of LIFE

Me and my partner had lunch today. We got greeted very friendly and the service brought to our table. My partner had a chef special with Barramundi and I had the Chicken Parmigiani with only vegetables. The highlight for me were the vegetables. I literally never had in Australia a well cooked, in butter sauteed vegetables with perfect amount of salt. Often in other places they are undercooked or overcooked and there is never butter or oil on. The service were also very attentive, came few times to our table to check if everything all right.

Best steak sandwich in town. Eat in the gaming lounge with a backdrop of basketball + other sports on the screens. Luscious air conditioning in the height of summer. Wash it down with a gold or a sour ale, chat to the friendly bar staff, and you can hit the op shops in the neighbourhood after for vintage finds. Been sending people here for a year, figured it was time I posted a review. Walking distance from buranda train station and near the bus too.

This is a decent venue with a few good beers on tap and the renovations have improved the place a bit. The reason for the average review is when we came here on Ekka Wednesday there was a trivia night on, most of the tables had reserved signs which is fine however we found one table without a sign and as soon as we sat down bar staff told us to move on as only trivia participants could sit in the area.

We moved to the area a few months ago, from foodie-central (West End/Sth Brisbane) so we weren't sure how we'd manage... But all is well! This pub is great. The steaks are cooked perfectly. Their menu is interesting & diverse (crumbed Camembert, pumpkin & pesto lasagna, a lamb wrap with beetroot relish, and much more...all delicious; along with all the usual suspects - Schnitzs & parmies, cooked fresh and tender). Coffee is probably 7/10 so it's passable even for Mr Coffee Snob, and I like it. Weekly specials are wonderful - eg. $19 Sunday Roasts & Steak nights. Excellent value. Beers are frosty, with Stone & Wood on tap. The whole place has a lovely vibe, too. Very laidback, with seats under the shady figs & comfy armchairs on the sidewalk. And the staff are always friendly, cheerful, professional and helpful, no matter what day or shift we've been there. We LOVE having a Local Pub like this.

Quiet Pub, Nice, Clean and Comfortable atmosphere... was in here for lunch. Had the burger which was great... Unfortunately it was that piled up you couldn't eat it as the bun was super soft and it literally fell apart... I just ended up eating the beef patty bacon and cheese with a knife and fork... and ditched the rest ... chips were srumptious... golden fruchy and well salted. My partner had the fisherman's catch which was fresh and full of flavour. Service was great and the waitress very nice and helpful. Prices are average but worth it for the quality. Would definitely recommend if your in the area and wanting an nice pub lunch... 😎

Had a wonderful experience at this fantastic pub Friday night. My 14 year old daughter has many life threatening food allergies, so we haven't been able to dine out much most of her life, because we usually are met with eye rolling and rude staff. The opposite was true of the amazing staff here. We were warned that it was at our own risk, which my daughter fully accepted, but our request were met to a tee, and as a result we walked away feeling 'normal' which is a massive thing for my daughter. I unfortunately did not ask the name of our empathetic waitress, she could not do enough for us she was just lovely. Nick the chef told us he will personally look after our daughters meal in the future. Wow! We will be back for sure. Thank you so much to you both. ❤
