The good vibes at Super Whatnot are spectacular. Great music, amazing cocktails and prompt service from staff members. The bartender named Max provided me and my group stellar service and excellent conversation, it felt like talking to an old friend! Will be sure to come back many times in the future. Love it!!!

Small, hidden bar in the middle of Brisbane city. Dim lights, Big lantern motif. It has a good atmosphere to gather with friends and loveones. Has DJ who plays variety of music. Has long list of drinks to choose from but not cheap. 5 dollars Margaritas every Monday!! Good, accomodating staff.

Nice little laneway joint tucked away next to the mall. Has a nice vibe and always seems to be packed. Has a mezzanine level for extra seating space but tends to get really hot up there in those Brisbane arvos we all know. Good selection of beer and wine. The bartenders are great. Down to earth and super friendly. Especially the bearded bloke. Thanks guys.

A bit of a hidden gem in Brisbane's CBD The bar is low-key and comfortable. I enjoy the selection of Mexican inspired food and the seasonal beers on tap. Their cocktails are quite nice too

Revisited: oh my gosh! So far the best whisky sour Brisbane has to offer. Foamy on top and a perfect blend. Exciting every sip. The venue is just nice and cruisy. Soul jazz and even reaching into the realms of dj shadow. That sort of lovely journey style of music. So far my experience of being a loner here has made me very comfortable. Staff are great, friendly, my gosh their service is bang on tidy, satisfaction all rounder! A++

Doing a tour of Brisbane's hidden bar scene you probably need to include this place. Located in a back lane off the main mall, it's not THAT hidden but still cool. They were playing some pretty cool music when I was there. Cheap beers too!

I had to follow up twice to confirm a booking. When ordering my first drink, I confirmed with the staff that my $75 booking deposit was being used as bar tab however when leaving the venue and paying the bill, a different staff member tried to charge me an amount that didn't include my deposit and this I had to show evidence of my correspondence with the venue to prove this.. drinks were good though as was the atmosphere!!

3 years ago I was alone on my birthday, as someone who was traveling from the states and had not met many people yet...I decided to take myself out for drinks and the staff was SO kind and welcoming to me I kept going to back the 3 months I spent in Brisbane. I still think of it as one of my fondest birthdays thanks to them!

Great little spot tucked away in the laneway. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. We ordered the Super Deluxe Board and happy hour wines. Everything on the board was high quality and really tasty. The wines were good value and delicious. Fun vibe inside. Worth a visit

Very cosy, chill vibe with friendly and helpful staff. It has a range of rotating beers, a well rounded selection of spirits and a beautiful aesthetic to match. It's a little small but that's part of the charm, a very nice and intimate place to go to after dinner.

Lovely little bar in the middle of Burnett Lane. I don't know what the drinks are like but I ordered a pulled Pork Slider that came with Hush Puppies (little balls made of corn). Unexpectedly, we had to run off about 15 minutes after I made the order and the bar staff were very helpful with getting me my order pronto! They didn't have take away containers but I managed to wolf it down quickly. Really appreciated the friendliness. And loved the ambience of the bar - nice little wooden nook.

Hole in the wall place with a great drink menu and a few things to eat as well. Perhaps worth noting that the bar is not very big and looks like it could be maxed out pretty easily. The upstairs event area is great for a group of 20-25 friends if you are looking for a small event of gathering space.

If you're super trendy and a bit pretentious this bar is for you. It's cute and cosy but the drinks are well over priced. Good for a pre dinner drink if you're trying to impress someone, not so good if you just want a wine or a beer in a cosy bar that won't cost you the earth.

Fantastic range of Aussie craft beers with three rotating taps! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable..they know how to make a tastey cocktail or two! They also have Vinal DJ's on weekends playing everything from funk to hip hop and disco! Awesome space to unwind and catch-up with in a nice loft style setting!

My mates and I stumbled on this bar one afternoon on the hunt for a new watering hole and we were walking down Burnett Lane and one of the bartenders told us that if we were after a beer then this is the place to go and he wasn't wrong, always an amazing vibe and the beers are always changing so you can try something new all the time and the food is great as well. A nice cozy bar with a mezzanine and a good eye catching interior. Conveniently located in a secluded street, it is still quite popular. So glad they have Pétillant naturel wines on the list, very fresh and drinkable. Also loved their interpretation of loaded fries with spring onion, very tasty. I’d actually loved to see a better choice of beers, especially on tap, but I loved the place regardless of that too
