Great old historic pub. A bit quirky inside. Good pub meals. Variety of cold beers on tap. Nice grassed beer garden area out the back. Nice spot for lunch when you're out for a drive or ride.

I hosted an event at The Farmer's Arms and they did an amazing job! Dealing with the owners prior to the planning was easy and they had some great suggestions. While the staff on the day were run off their feet with so many of us, they maintained their friendly demeanour. The food was fantastic, abundant and came out very quickly. It was a great choice for our event and I would definitely visit The Farmer's Arms Tavern again. Thanks for everything guys.

The food was good, the service was poor. Waited almost an hour for two entrees that came out at separate times, they had to keep asking what we ordered and still managed to bring the wrong food. They also started turing off the lights while we were still in the restaurant, made us feel very unwanted.

Visited for lunch on a quiet and chilly Thursday. Brilliant service, wood fire and great food. The Guinness pie is the best my other half has ever tasted and that includes countless Guinness pies in Dublin and the UK! Five out of five.

A pub with an incredible history and heartfelt ambience both in the bar but also in the dining room. Meals were of a wide range and cooked to order. Plenty of beverage options too in both locations. Great setting on a Sunday too with a backdrop to the Farmers Arms Markets in the next paddock. Plenty of pop-up store varieties on offer by passionate farmers, cooks and crafters. Very well worth a visit in the not too distant future. A must do for a visitor to Toowoomba.

Had a big reunion there. Staff were friendly. Food platters were delicious and a great variety to cater for all tastes. Atmosphere was buzzing. Fireplace kept us warm on a not-so-pleasant day outside. Highly recommend

Great character to this old pub. Unfortunately they were renovating the public bar this week so too much noise to eat there. Just a few drinks instead. Dog friendly too! Good specials in the tiny bottle shop. Would love to return when everything in order:)

Absolutely superb and friendly staff! I attended a large function and although there were lots of punters, the staff carried on with efficiency and smiles. The beer was cold and the food was yummy too! If you're a local or just passing through, I'd say stop in!

I spent a few amazing hours at the Farmers Arms a week ago as part of a work reunion. The food was really good and the share platters were huge. Considering the large number of people attending, the staff did a fantastic job keeping up with the drink orders. The pub's open fire was most welcome on a wet and cold Toowoomba day, which really added to the ambience. Highly recommended for anyone passing through the area. Thanks for a great experience!

Had lunch here twice with my wife. We actually enjoyed our meal. Cosy and laid back atmosphere. The roast beef and pork was great and so were the serving of vegetables. In fact I think my wife enjoyed the vegetables more than the roast (which is actually delicious)!!

Fantastic food, fantastic venue. My wife and i have a date day here (kids at school and a have a lunch break) we go here every fortnight. Chicken snitty with pepper sauce os always perfect.

Is a lovely cosy restaurant. The food is lovely. Kitchen closes at 8pm sharp - no later at all. No food for vegan or vegetarians unless you are happy to have the veges and salad from the salad bar which will cost you $15 per plate which is an exorbitant price. For meat eaters the food is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of car parking. The staff who serve are lovely and helpful.

I started going here for the trivia nights on Thursday, and they are a blast! The food is reasonably priced in my opinion, because if you buy a main, you're free to continue to fill yourself up on a variety of hot veges with sauces or chilled salad. They staff are lovely and easy going, the bar has a decent selection of beer and other alcoholic drink. They are also one of Queensland oldest pubs!

This pub has SO much potential. It has history and atmosphere..... what it needs is a bit of a makeover ( sign falling apart outside, back area and toilets a bit shabby and roof leaking and felt cold) We ordered food , which took so long we wondered if the chef may have been asleep? If the restaurant was full yeowsers. Finally one meal came out plonked down and was eaten alone by one of our children while we all watched hungrily ....when asked where the other meals were, the wait staff was abrupt, and we were told 'he's still doing it'......the calamari was so dry we wondered if it was made of bleached sawdust. Also was told there was no coffee or tea..... sheesh, that's the first pub Ive ever been to that doesn't even have that option. A coffee machine and kettle, wouldn't cost that much and would add even more options for coffee lovers.... Sometimes I wonder if we brought in a tipping system like the US things would radically improve, as there just seemed to be a pretty crusty attitude. For a sweet country pub, if I was a tourist Id be sorely disappointed. If youd lift your game just a little this restaurant has the potential to be fantastic.

The Farmers Arms are a very amicable and down to earth owners and staff, we enjoy their hospitality and friendly service. We at our village have a lunch club and a coffee club and have enjoyed meals and afternoon teas at both the Murphy's Creek and Farmers Arms Hotel several times over the past two years. This tavern is a very quaint little place it is of the older style originally built in 1885 from memory. The meals are especially nice for the price . When we visited the open fire was only burning on one side , as it was the coldest day at Toowoomba, another fire in th room would've made it much warmer.

We (4) enjoyed our roast lunch here last Friday and a few Carlton Mids. I haven't had mid for about 18months! The 3 roast pork with mash and vegies and a pork sausages and mash and vegies meals were absolutely delicious. Large portions. I think their oven is ther best friend. The roast pork was tender and succulent. Definitely return again for their roasts. Service 10/10. Hospitality 10/10.
