A. M.My mum and 2 kids have been in quarantine at The Westin Brisbane the past 2 weeks and are getting out today. I was so worried how my kids will cope but the staff and service have been nothing short of amazing! The food has been wonderful and even the Covid tests that were carried out were so good and calm especially because my mum and kids have never experienced it before! My kids even went on to say they just want to live there ! Nothing has made me more happier than knowing they enjoyed their stay until they were ready to come home so I can’t thank you enough The Westin Brisbane!

S.Currently doing my 14 day hotel quarantine here I have to say they are doing a very good job room is very nice beautiful bathroom fairly spacious it has a couch so I don’t have sit/lay in bed all day and a desk with and chair to eat my meals at food is good enough quality although I have a bigger daily appetite then the average person so to top up the food quantity I ordered some food from Cole’s to be delivered to my TV is huge although only has free to air stations the king size bed and super comfortable window is massive with a great view of Marry st I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room

Inspite of being locked in we felt cared for.
The hotel even sent us a baby toy for our infant with a note to make us feel welcome.
Over all, a good place to stay, and I wish we could have enjoyed the rest of the hotel too. The pool looks amazing from our room!

s. k.For the last two weeks my wife and I have been in quarantine at the Westin in Brisbane. Our room has been excellent - very clean when we arrived, a good size, and we were lucky enough to get a nice view across to the river.
Can I say a big thank you to the hotel staff. Dealing with a hotel full of quarantined guests must be very difficult but the staff have been very courteous, and have responded promptly to any requests. Also a big thank you to the police who have done an awesome job in managing the guest movements (e.g. we have had a 20 minute plus minute outside break almost every day that has been handled very well).
Thank you - and I am very happy to recommend the Westin - whether for quarantine or normal travel!

A. A.This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the only hotel I've every felt appreciated as a Titanium Member. All of the staff members I encountered were friendly, helpful, and professional. Hotel and room were clean and well maintained. The lounge was always stocked and the food and drink options were delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I would call for my car 10+ minutes and still had to wait for my car from valet. Also, there were multiple times I would pull up and the stand would be unaccompanied. However, I would return to this location in a heartbeat!!

B. K.There is a lot to like about this place. The Decor is amazingly designed with some mid century influence against a modern palette. The rooms are great, new, comfortable and has some great tech like Chrome Cast so we could watch our own personal streaming services in the room.
The restaurant is great, entrees weren't spectacular and the service was hit and miss due to them only being open a week (totally understandable) however this didn't hinder our experience at all. Steak and Duck were excellent and didn't disappoint and the dessert cart is a great addition. Prices are very reasonable, so recommend.
The pool bar is a very special experience and looks lovely at night and just as good during the day. The gym is well equipped also.
Breakfast is your standard buffet, but everything available was tasty and great. The bar down on ground level has an EXCELLENT antipasto plate with very generous serve of meats, and as a long black drinker, the coffee was spot on.
There was a couple teething issues at the place that I'm sure they'll overcome, but we were very pleased with the service and place. We are looking forward to returning and enjoying the pool bar at night.

In regards to breakfast buffet one morning the hot stuff was cold and this was when they opened. The next day breakfast opens at 6am. They were not ready. I. B.I was sent here for isolation for two weeks. Excellent room, huge, comfy, super king size bed for one small person. Although I was in lockdown, I could have had, and did twice, 10 minutes fresh air escorted by friendly police officers. The food wasn't too bad, that being said, it was edible. The hotel did an amazing job of looking after approximately 700 returning Australians. Such luxury. Well done Westin Marriott. I especially had fun the day we had to change our bedding and found myself getting lost in the HUGE doona cover after I'd inserted the doona round the wrong way. Hahaha. All in all, it was a great stay and under normal circumstances would able an hotel to recommend visitors from overseas.
T. W.My partner and I have stayed here a few times when the room rate is similar to the Four Points next door. We love the Westin and the service is great. We enjoy the downtown location within walking distance of Eagle St pier. But we have noticed a few small changes which are disappointing i.e. barista coffee is no longer included with breakfast for Titanium Elite members. And the coffee at the 3rd floor club is not as good as it was in the past. Small changes, but noticeable.

The staff were amazing in all interactions from the concierge, front desk staff, cleaners and maintenance and the lovely girls in the executive lounge. I. m. P.Right from the start the service was good and the room is up today with the design. Love the new little touch of “sleep well balm”. The stay was great! However we had a hellish experience from the TAXI service from the hotel to the airport (hotel concierge booked for us). The “taxi” drop us in the pick up area rush us to go down to get a new customer. Asked us to pay prior to arrival while the car is still moving ( he expect me to remove my seatbelt and give it to him). The whole trip was horrific bags bouncing off the sit several time. This did not help at all with my motions sickness.
Ps. The reason I put the complain through Westin google page is because the hotel booked the service for us and when I call the hotel and “try” to give our feedback. You guys ask as to talk directly to the taxi company and we didn’t feel that you want to help us at all.

M.The hotel itself is very nice, if a little ‘sterile’ but the level of service is poor for a Westin. Staff seems more interested in getting done with their job and finishing their shift than providing high quality service. I think for the cost, there are better hotels.

The rooms are reasonably sized and cosy, beds are comfortable, however the pillows smelt like mildew. I checked with a colleague and he reported the same thing in his room. My other issue with the room I stayed in was the strange choice of printed artwork on the wall (how is that supposed to make me feel at ease to sleep?).

The location is perfect. Shopping is only a 3 min walk away. But it’s not right on the strip to be noisy.
Probably my favourite hotel in Australia. The rooms are tastefully done with different textures and tones. Furnishings are wonderful for the most part. (Sofa in the suites not very comfortable, but I spent most of the time lounging in bed.)
The bed, and pillows, are excellent. I get my best sleeps here.

Pool/pool area is great for lounging around. Pool side bar is a plus.
The spa is also quite the treat. It’s very serene and calming. I quite enjoyed my exfoliation and signature massage. I might have snored... There’s a fancy steam room as well that you can use if you book a treatment. So arrive early! After your treatment you can get treats. I like treats!
But the standout for me are the staff. They are all wonderful and do seem to really care. If I could afford to live here full time I would.

An "accidental" double authorisation of almost $600 to my credit card was only release after 2 emails to the Marriott Group complaints address, a personal conversation with front of house staff and 6 days after checkout. I won't even talk about the messed up in-room breakfast order. But they said sorry, though...
However, mistakes happen but other 5 star venues handle them differently!

The Executive lounge is the best in Australia by far it has a good quality restaurant like service and nice food and drinks were flowing. The staff in the lounge were extremely friendly. I chose the full buffet it was well stocked and good quality food and very well made barista coffee. All over was a great stay it is my new place to stay in Brisbane I like it here better then the W now :) As a Titanium member I stay in a hotel a lot I now have a world class hotel I can stay in when I go to Brisbane :)

Restaurant and bar could improve. Food at the restaurant was a bit tasteless, meat was not seasoned (ie. No salt pre serving) and service was extremely slow, 20 mins waiting for a banana bread, Coffee was not great either. In room coffee was better.

T. V.I have been a patron of SPG properties for many years, with weekly visits, resulting in Ambassador status year after year. I have been to Westin’s, W’s, St. Regis and luxury collection across the world. This establishment is 3 days in. It’s by far the best Westin property including Westin Resort properties. It has a fine balance of hotel and resort feel with attention to detail at every level. My journey started with a warm, attentive welcome comparable to the St. Regis in Puerto Rico. I was upgraded to a suite due to my status, where my luggage awaited me after a short stay at the appealing hotel lobby bar. It was packed and the reaction of the staff was not panic but rather accommodating. The suite was well suited, with decor that was comforting but not flashy. I engaged in a massage the following day that was fantastic. Afterwards, made my way to the restaurant for a glass of wine and some fresh seafood. Irvin who was obviously actively coaching new staff was on point. He didn’t allow his coaching to interfere with quality and the experience, food was impeccable. I made my way to the pool deck where I was noticed of my return from the previous day. Thought and care was put into every drink made by Nikita. She was informed, knowledgeable and excited to be part of the team. (Expressed) The business center is beyond expectations with beverage, fine finger foods and an amazing breakfast. Truly over accommodating and expected. Unfortunately, I will be checking out tomorrow, however, will return next weekend to enjoy my final days in Brisbane before heading back to the states. The room, food, setting and ambience is beyond what you’d expect. I believe the greatest asset this property has is it’s talent. Everyone I met and encountered believed in the property, it’s offerings, capabilities and each other. Whoever led the interviewing and selection nailed it, understanding without the right team you’re dead in the water. Experiencing a shocking experience, turned me to investigate who is commanding the ship. Brad seems like a well oiled machine and up and coming leader within the Marriott property group. It will be interesting to see what he has in store. Brad, from a highly critical ambassador guest you’re defining the next level of hospitality. Awesome job to and your Brisbane team and best of luck in your journey. Everyone is working hard and believes in your leadership. Really...really well done. The only constructive feedback I could give you is lamenate the pool menus, paper gets wet. Add a flatscreen to right of the pool bar to attract patrons to watch games and visit the pool bar. Lastly, it’s hard to distinguish the service elevator with guest elevator. Simple fix. This is all I really have!
