Went to the Woolley Mammoth to see Fleshgod Apocalypse. It was an absolutely awesome show, they were supported by Freedom of Fear and Kaerulean who were both fantastic. The venue is mostly standing with a few seats and very intimate, you are right next to the band....what an atmosphere.

Such a cool place. Came here on my first night out on the town on the weekend of my 18th and it was a blast. Luke the bar tender was really sweet too. Very welcoming. Would recommend this bar to all my friends.

Went here for a gig a little while ago. Food was surprisingly good but the drinks were sub par. Not enough for me to complain but more than enough to make me drink less. The venue is well layed out for live music and the sound quality was great. Definitely recommend as a music venue

While I've not visited the whole bar, the stage room is one of the better ones in Brisbane - adequately raised off the ground for increased view range, wide enough and laid out well and the sound equipment is better than other places too. Room layout with chairs and benches on the side and bars at the rear is great - Hope to see more gigs here in the future! Beer and food are great also.

Good venue with a good tap range and usually plenty of interesting beers to try. Good happy hours Sunday, food can be hit and miss but the lighter stuff is usually better. They no longer charge for card transactions! New menu is great too.

Went for lunch to try out their burgers. Burger was tasty, typical American style with milk bun, pickle, cheese and lettuce. Chips cost extra. There's a decent range of beer but expect a schooner or stein, no pints. Overall, not a bad place for a quick catchup.

Went out on a Saturday night. No cover charge, If you like R&B, EDM, modern musics / remixes and like to dance, this is the place for you. Bouncer and staff were friendly. The dance floor is quite small but you can still move around comfortably just watch out for people with their drinks. Decent amount of seating near the dance floor and up the back. The bar can get busy as times and it can be hard to get the bartenders attention. Overall there's a good atmosphere and would recommended adding this place to your list bars to hit up.

Very expensive "schooners". When you ask for a schooner and get a glass not much bigger than a pot for $8 and the bar staff argue that it is a schooner... you feel a little ripped off. Bar itself is nice, spacious and a good selection if beers to keep any beer drinker happy.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a few bands at the Mammoth. Great venue, ice cold beer and excellent staff. At the end of the night I ended up loosing my wallet. May have had a few to many of those ice cold beers. Looked around but couldn't find it. So I thought it was gone. Until my boss received a phone call saying they had found my wallet. I contacted them back and asked if they were able to post the wallet to me as I don't often go to Brisbane. They did the next best thing. One of the staff were heading up to the Sunshine Coast and said that they could drop it off. Had my wallet back within a couple of days. Thank you so much.

Went to see Middle Kids here in the upstairs live music bar. Excellent venue to get up close and personal in an intimate setting. Great acoustic and sound system really showcased the band who are stellar! Bars upstairs and down not too crowded and smoking areas up and down too which is a bonus. Woolly Mammoth is an unreal venue, especially if you're craft beer lover like me. The staff and management are great and even though they were still under renovation they opened the finished section exclusively so we could celebrate a birthday function in style. I went to see R&B Artist Eric Benet (USA) perform here. I wasn't really familiar with his music, I just like R&B. My presence usually attracts an eclectic trail of diversity, which Eric might find whimsical and amusing. A retired Chinese guy with no knowledge of R&B music. I thought his show was great. A convenient venue for city dwellers. But the air con in the venue needs tweaking. My caption for the photo would be "Look at my sparkly new red riding hood fan"

Sometimes they play decent music and it's good for a night out with free entrance. Gets really hot on the dancefloor when crowded and there's hardly any aircon. Security staff can be lazy as they refused entry 15mins before lockout just because they packed up their equipment early.
