I'm new to the area so I thought I'd check it out. Went and had the southern chicken burger today with a ginger beer beer. Was amazing. I'm shocked at how good it was. Would recommend! Will be back for more!

Have come up from canberra for a holiday to see my dad, had dinner tonight and the food was amazing. Steak cooked to absolute perfection, fish cooked beautifully, a mushroom sauce to die for. Good portion size for money. Friendly staff. Definatly recommend for locals and vistors alike

I always go for the 15.90 lunch rump and have never regretted it. I was apprehensive thinking how could I possibly get good steak for $15.90, I was pleasantly surprised. The steaks have always been cooked to the way you want it, with a decent amount of salad and chips as well as gravy. The atmosphere is nice and is kid friendly. Service staff are kind and usually are pretty quick to get things sorted!

Hands down the best steak meal I've ever had. We're regulars here and everytime we order the meals are delicious. Massive portions, fairly priced and staff are awesome. Their mushroom sauce is my absolute fave and the chef and the workers are incredibly friendly. 1000000% recommended.

Went to the tavern for the ufc 265 fight and was well looked after . Great drink promos especially for the jugs. You don't see that anymore so the boys and I were wrapped. Great food and service also and a real upbeat vibe which was great for the fights and the big screen in the bistro was the cherry on top. Well done Wynnum Tav, we'll all be back there for the next one 😎

We have been coming back here for just over a year now and the place is always inviting. Food is always up to standard and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and always seem to go out of their way to fix a problem or help with issues. The manager seems to know nearly everyone which you don’t see anymore. Keep up the good work WT.

Thank you for accepting our large last min booking for my sons 12th birthday. Our family had a great time - service was great, although a member of our party had an issue with their meal your team fixed it up right away. Everything was not too much trouble and found staff friendly and accommodating.

Wynnum tavern has a strange country feel to it but is inviting with friendly staff. No one actually acknowledged our presence in the bistro and it's a bit how does this work. It was understaffed really but service was good. The food took 45 minutes to arrive with a room of approx 15 people sitting I would have thought it would have been quicker. Quality of the food was very good but priced a bit high for area. Drinks are well priced. Public bar area is what I term fight proof with garbage stools. But drinks are priced well so it's popular with the day drinkers. Just lacks any atmosphere.

Tuesday night poker here brings a small but entertaining crowd. Tuesday is also steak night with $10 off any steak. The chef seems to know his way around a grill though there are occasional consistency issues with the level of doneness.

Great food, best pub feed in the area. Steaks are awesome. The venue could be slightly more kid friendly and there are more kid friendly pubs around. But I’m giving 5 stars for the food always on point

We've just had a brilliant meal. Lovely, friendly service and helpful staff. I had the chef's special - crispy skinned salmon - it was sensational & exceptional value at $23. The pork belly and the kid's spaghetti were also devoured. Rainbow icecreams with sprinkles finished off a great evening.

We were all stuffed but just wanted to keep eating - all our meals were amazing! So much better than the usual ‘pub grub’ & a great menu to choose from. The staff were so wonderful too! Very friendly & helpful! I’d like to thank the Chef & kitchen staff for a lovely dinner & the whole Wynnum Tav team that were working last night for giving us 4 girls a much needed nice night out! We are now going to become members (1 friend is already & has lunch there regularly!) so we will all be coming in more regularly for some more delicious meals & great times!! Thank you all again!! 😁😁

We are down on holidays a I searched for restaurants for our family of 5 to go to. We were not disappointed with The Wynnum Tavern. The service was lovely and the food was great. The kids meals (chicken nuggets and calamari) were just as delicious as our mains ( American rib and lamb cutlets) . Kids room is a plus.. We got to eat in peace as the kids meals came with entree (best garlic bread too) We will be going back before we go home!

Wow great place to dine at this was my first time and it sure as hell wont be my last !! While on holiday from NZ came to Wynnum Tavern the service from staff and food here is on point one staff member really stood out for us was a woman from NZ Evelyn was so hospitable, warming and just made our dining experience just that more awesome !!!
