We had our Christmas Function at Yamanto Tavern last year and had an amazing time. The chefs were very accommodating with dietary restrictions and the food was amazing. The events staff even decorated the area for us and bar staff were fantastic. 2 months on and everyone in the office is still talking about what a great night it was. Will definitely book again.

My husband and I have just finished our breath taking dinner and we can not over state the taste and service we received. We were told that tonight was the first night of the new menu. The selection we had was outstanding and the quality and taste was out of this world. I would highly recommend any one looking for a great meal to try the Yamanto tavern. The staff were excellent especially the male server (I didn't get his name ) and leah. They were attentive to us all night.

Myself in my wife quite often make the track from Fernvale into Yamanto in order to have dinner at the Yamanto tavern. Every single meal I've ever had here is always been exceptional although the prices might be a little bit more on the expensive side it is definitely reflected in the quality of the food that you get the customer service and the quantity of food that you receive.

Attended the tavern on Saturday night for a birthday party. Service was great, food arrived quickly and was amazing! Orders came out correctly with no issues. Definitely recommend!

This wasn't a great experience. When asking a lass if dinner would be OK, the lass was abrupt. Asked if we had checked in we said yes. Then wanted proof. Fair enough. Showed her my QLD covid check in. The said to me does "she have it" referring to my wife standing next to me. Which seemed a bit discourteous. Then told us to pick a seat and order using the qr code. So we worked out an order and tried to pay online preferencing PAYPAL. This sputtered out an error. Then tried again. This the took us to a ad selling share finance services. Then backed out to checkout as the were no further options. Tried to checkout and same result. Went back to the lass and had to ask if ordering the usual was was possible. Thankfully it was. Pretty sure they had a completely rubbish system or it had been hacked. Either way I was the greeted with a pile of pop ups for about 5min before getting it under control. Thankfully I didn't use the pay by credit/debit card option. Unfortunately that system now has my personal details including email, phone no. Etc. Not a well concidered system. You get asked to pay before service, not unusual, but then wants a tip included before you get any service. Call me strange but I thought tips were a consideration after service.

Thank you so so soooo very much !!! We had our wedding reception there last night and all I can say is thank you. Amber was absolutely Amazing. She kept in contact with me, worked with me, did everything she could to make our night special. She decorated the room up for us exactly the way I pictured it which was absolutely beautiful as well. They food was so amazing ❤️ the pricing was perfect and all the different food was fantastic. We will definitely be back just for dinner or something cause it was amazing. Honestly can't give yous enough praise for everything. Loved that even the bar staff were in there dancing away. 😁😁😁 all the staff were amazing and helped to make our night as great as it was. Thank you so so so much again.

I ordered a vegetarian pizza and was served a vegan pizza on flat bread so really disappointed. The waiter insisted it was my order when I said I ordered a vegetarian pizza and I can was too hungry it discuss. Also ordering drinks on the app is slow so best to go to the bar to get served.

I’ve started visiting a lot more since the new cocktail menu has come out. Absolutely adore them and love the food especially the ribs. Always go to the ale house end to get Delta to serve me when she’s working because she always makes the cocktails taste the best and is always down for some happy banter while you’re waiting. Wasn’t a big fan of the place a year ago but I feel like they’ve really tried to make the place better. So happy with the food and service (and the new cocktails if you couldn’t tell)

Great lunch... A good selection on the menu. A quick covid scan in.. very happy with the service. From ordering to table service very quick. About a 15 min wait. Meals hot and tasty. Our group of seniors very happy with the size of their 'seniors meals'. Plenty of room to more... plenty of parking. It's nice to see happy staff enjoying their jobs..

We had a pleasant experience here. They have a choice several stakes. The meals came out promptly, with generous servings of veggies and heaps of mushroom sauce. The food was nicely cooked and well priced compared to Brissy. The place had a slightly buzzy atmosphere (even for an off peak time) and the staff were friendly too. I noticed a lot of tap beer, with some good standards, but I didn't see any boutiques. We'll definitely go back when we are in the area again. 😀

This is a lovely place. It is well set out, plenty of craft beers on tap as well as the regulars. There's a awesome playground for the little ones while the big ones can sit down to a cold beverage and great meal. Plenty of live entertainment on the Friday and Saturday nights in the big room out the back, and the staff are just lovely, no job too small. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Nice staff & good cocktails. My boyfriend was disappointed in his steak given how small it was. My friend's chicken snitty tasted like deep fried KFC & the gravy was weak & tasted like packet garbage (and reading your other reviews, I'm not the only one who doesn't like gravy from a packet) And I was very disappointed in my malteser cheesecake. I was expecting it to made with crushed maltesers mixed into the cream cheese but no, plain cheesecake, 1-2 maltesers crushed around the cake, what a let down & false advertising. My graziers pie was delicious & very big & staff were lovely.

A group of family members went to the Y-bar for dinner last night & we were absolutely delighted. I’ve had quite a few chicken schnitzels in my time, & can honestly say that the ones that my family & I had there were the best we’ve tasted. We had the Malibu, Texan & Avacado schnitzels & all were delicious & cooked perfectly. Other family members chose steak dinners, & while they were smaller steaks than expected, they reported that they were cooked perfectly & that they were delicious. Then we ordered dessert & coffee, & certainly weren’t disappointed. Presentation & taste were excellent. We’ll be back for sure Y-bar. Thanks for a great night 🤩🥳

We've been here several times and enjoyed it. Today was odd. Ordered the "vegan" bruschetta...but it wasn't. They quickly replaced it after we questioned it. What came back was a pitiful (maybe spiteful?) and rushed entree that bared little resemblance to the original even though it only needed the cheese left out or replaced. The barman was very friendly and offered recommendations and tastes of different beers from the taps. He made todays visit for us, and we'll definitely be back. The barwoman was the complete opposite. When I approached for the next round, I left feeling like I'd personally insulted her, such was her tone and harshness.

My partner and I went to dinner in the Alehouse as opposed to our usual bistro dining and were delighted at the service we received from Shaun. He was incredibly friendly, asked how our meals were without coming across abrasive or intrusive and went generally above and beyond in terms of service. 5 star service!

Went to dinner here last night. Kids meals were amazing and huge. Our mains took awhile to come out, but the steak was worth the wait, very juicy and tender. Bryce (I think his name was) served me at the register, was greeted with a warm smile and very helpful (extra points to him). Also the very kind Sharne, with her bubbly personality. Very helpful and always smiling. Will be dining here again soon 😊. One thing I would say, the dining area needs to be revamped.

Good service overall, but visited during a rush where you had to queue up for over an hour just to order your meals, then one hour wait for them to arrive. One of our guests had a food allergy and the staff were very good to ensure the meals we ordered were suitable - so that was very much appreciated. This place has a good vibe and I’m sure going back on a more ordinary night would be a better experience with the wait times.

This place is amazing!! The Manager Michael is so Friendly and runs one of the Best Taverns in Town!! His back of house staff are so talented and the Calamari is to die for!! YUM!!! Just had lunch there. We had the eye fillet and polk salad. Delicious steak. Cooked to perfection. Polk salad was not to our taste and was sent back. Nothing against the chef. We eat and drink at the Yamanto tavern a fair bit and I must say I have never had a bad meal. Beers are icy cold and the young lady behind the bar (delta) is so friendly, bubbly and full of energy. She deserves 10/10 for customer service. I would definitely recommend this tavern. Friday and Saturday nights can be a bit hectic but week days and weekend arvos are 👌.

Have been a few times and consistantly found the service and food to be slow. The bar staff are lovely but seeing the tables and booths werent full but there was a constant 5person deep line for each till something is amiss. I got the gnocchi and found it gluggy and disappointing, like it had been waiting under a heat lamp for the other meals we ordered to be ready. Atmosphere is nice and general vibe is great but dont go expecting a quick meal/drink.

I disagree with the past reviews before mine strongly. Have been here a number of times and found the staff very polite and take a personal interest when time permits. For service it was an easy process, you seat yourself if you cant be escorted, pick from the menu and order and pay at the counter. The food itself I cant complain its tasty and cook correctly and well presented. Also the kids meals have a good variety to choose from especially for picky kids. Will be back.

Menu is normal pub fare. Normally go there mid week and service seems to be an issue. Maybe they have less staff on then. Otherwise parking is ok and most facilities are clean and tidy.

More than stoked we did, good atmosphere on a chilled Sunday afternoon, the fireplace on, and sports on the big screen inside. Safe to say we will be back before we leave. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Chris, Angela & the team at Yamanto Tavern for going above & beyond for my Mum's Surprise 70th Birthday party yesterday. The service they all provided right from when I made the booking enquiry was just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were so accommodating & friendly, the prices were incredibly reasonable & the food was amazing! Several of our guests commented how impressed they were too including my Mum so we even stayed for dinner after the party. Chris went the extra mile for us & he didn't have to, so to say we were appreciative is an understatement. customer service is key and tonight you guys delivered. Came in with my mother and grandparents to have a nice end to a shopping day and a preemptive celebration for my birthday. Food came out after an 1 and a half hours. (very busy night but we got a free refill for drinks ). The main issue of the night came with my meal, I had the king pork rib which came out undercooked, i would usually just eat due to the fact that I suffer with a bit of anxiety and dont like making a fuss, but my mother is a bit of a stickler when it comes to the food I eat (due to some stomach issues). when she took it back the staff couldn't be more understanding and helpful, they replaced my meal with a steak which I really enjoyed and gave us vouchers for the next time we were in. Staff are really lovely and helpful. BUT.... Last night we had dinner at the tavern for our sons Birthday. We all ordered the rib eye fillet steak which was pretty much unconsumable because of how much chewy fat was throughout. I asked for medium rare steak and it came out blue. Luckily I ended up losing my appetite after hearing it moo back at me when I cut it and it bled. I didn't bother complaining as our son was over it and I didn't want to wait for another steak to be cooked properly. Please train your chefs on how to cook a good steak and find a better meat supplier.

I am aregular patron and customer of the Yamanto Tavern and I rate it very highly as do many visitors and customers alike. I often drop in and check reviews. I see one from a Robert Merlote that I don't believe is an honest opinion or review, but someone that possibly had a bad day prior to getting to the venue. I was here at the time and was served on-time, and with a smile. I can say that when several groups who did book, but arrive early or late, adds pressure to any venue.
