Nice facilities but make sure you check pool availability before you go! Lots of people in the 25 m pool ~8am and then there was aqua-robics so plan ahead!

It's always a pleasure to swim at the AIS. The water is just the right temperature, the pools and facilities are clean and spotless and the staff are lovely. Just remember to check for opening times as they vary daily and remember to bring your swim cap!

Great place less crowded to swim. This place have 25m and 50m swimming pool respectively, and there are no place for toddlers to splash. Adults have to with their children in the water.

My school does their swimming carnival here every year it is always heaps of fun. 50m pool is amazing and always heaps of fun to swim in. There is also a 25m pool that kids who can't swim 50m can swim in. The risers are able to fit the entire junior school of about 525 kids and all of their bags.

So much history on this site. I've been swimming here for years and like it for the Olympic standard 50 metre pool and 25 metre training pool which is typically quite warm. The training pool is handy for learning or gentle exercise as it's about 1.1 metres deep the entire way. Other great thing is that I regularly have the entire place to myself during the evenings as few people ever seem to come at night. Bad thing is that they no longer turn the sauna on :-(

Great for toddlers swimming lessons. Friendly staff and very professional. Our 4 year old loves coming for swimming lessons.

I go here for the recovery program as I have a bad back. The instructors are great and really know their stuff. Not too many people too and you go at your own pace. Highly recommended.
