Sean and his team of friendly staff behind the bar and on the floor offer a good range of local fermented refreshments etc. with conviviality, the kitchen also cooking a range of pub grub, good options. A lovely setting, with views across Sullivan's Creek westward to the most magnificent avenue of Speckled elms. Need to offer a Stout on tap, in winter. At cellar temp.

Great relaxed atmosphere with music in the middle of Kambri, the social heart of the Australian National University. Good meals, friendly service and good drinks options. Specials board changes frequently.

A relatively large venue, which was lively with younger university students enjoying playing pool. Good variety of food, large selection of tap beer and cider. Food is reasonably priced and the serves are excellent. Generally, university pubs are renowned for cheaper drinks, but not in this case.

Nice enough place with a decent selection of beers. Some specials are good through, overall, it's a bit of expensive for what should be a uni pub. Food is lousy though. I ate here ages ago and it was bad. Had a parma again today, was one of the worst I've ever had. Batter soggy, chicken tasteless and they used shredded "pizza-style" ham. Decent atmosphere on Thursday/Friday evenings when it's not lockdown.

I went here for Friday drinks and found it to be surprisingly good value for money, considering it is the only pub on campus. It is centrally located at ANU, has a nice ambience and sits adjacent to Kambri and the river. The food here was well portioned and tasty. With offerings including finger food such as chips, to full on pub meals. As for drinks they have a good selection, including Bentspoke craft beers. Would come again.

Great priced food items on the menu Recommend the parmigiana or snitty for a large meal. The salt and pepper squid was nice but 5 pieces and some green lettuce for the salad was a 0 out of 5

Came here after the gym and pool with my partner. Never been here before, so didn't know what to expect beforehand. Customer service and food is just fantastic! Will definitely come again. The only criticism is the choice of music, not really for every one.

Had a lovely afternoon, staff incredibly friendly and attentive, solid selection of beer and wine, food was amazing and all very reasonable in price. Really great spot and a fresh, modern, place! Put onto it by a local friend, but as an out of towner, I'll definitely be making every effort to return when I'm in town.

Staff are always friendly, space is great and you can stay however long you want. One of the staff informed me "the coasters are actually made from coconut." Whether or not you believe this and try to eat them is up to you.

Look, it's not Badger's fault, but the gentrification of the old ANU student union area has produced a lot of soulless boxes. There are some nice beers on tap but the atmosphere is not really conducive to relaxed student gatherings - it's very loud and echoey and feels quite exposed. The old student pub was much cheaper and much better. You can't relax in a booth with a jug and your mates and play a game of pool here. You can still get the jug, but it costs a bit more.
