This bar is fantastic! A well positioned cocktail bar where you can chill and have a drink or join in with the lively atmosphere. Good vibes all-round. The staff are very welcoming and are there for the regulars and the newcomers alike. The kitchen menu looks amazing. Definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go again!

Worth Dropping in!! I hadn't been here in years (since when it was playground which was always a bit dank) so was pumped to see Beirut. Great atmosphere and great staff, I think it was Jovi looking after us, good fun and good drinks recommendations! :)

Quiantly decorated Beirut-style urban bar with a quintessential Beirut ambience to it and a great crowd and a great skewering of drinks, would have given 5+ stars for the overall experience if it wasn't for the 2 star rated bar staff, quite arrogant, unwelcoming and actually stiff upper-lipped, very lacking customer service skills and made us feel super awkward just for having asked about the style of music played in the bar. Would return if lucky enough to have other bar crew.

We came here on a Monday a few weeks ago and I honestly loved this place however I have to say if it wasn't for Maddy I would have given it 3 stars. She was attentive, made delicious drinks and made us feel so welcome but the younger male bartender who's name I didn't catch mostly ignored us. Otherwise absolutely no complaints, highly recommend!

I’d walked past this place a few times and saw some good reviews so decided to give it a go tonight. It didn’t disappoint! Super friendly atmosphere and great cocktails. Probably the best and most unique grazing platter I’ve had in a bar, too. Will definitely back (and I’ll catch the bus next time, so I can try out more than just a couple of cocktails 😂)!

This is a special unique gem located in the heart of Canberra. high end cocktails, excellent traditional Lebanese inspired bar snacks and great customer service from all staff and the owner soumi. One of the top bar with quality drinks and quality people, been in Canberra for 15 years and have not seen a bar with great people and great drinks. Had my birthday celebration with my friends and check that Lavender vodka shots! loved it - totally! We also had few other drinks but that Ruby Gobbler was absolutely stunning! - nailed it!. What is an amazing cocktail bar. They are one of the places that really brought the cocktail bar back into fashion and it shows. We were lucky and got in right away, but often there is quite a wait. Their cocktails are on point, and you can tell their bar staff is very knowledgeable. Their CLASSICS are amazing, and the weekly developed menu is insane, head straight to the famous cocktails section, it is unbeatable. (Beirut Express, Wasabi Martini and the Archie visits Japan are a must try) Expect all music languages, Arabic, French, Italian, African ... my goddess! We Shazamed it all 😆 If you find yourself in Canberra, you need to make your way to check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely genius cocktails by Soumi (easily one of the top bar tenders in town) - prepare yourself for a treat to your senses, good conversation, and good value for the best quality drinks. ($17 to $20 and not much more for custom mid shelf cocktails) Atmosphere is good, you can actually have a conversation but it's not overly quiet. The vibe at the bar is special. Great sensory experience. Better drinks than Molly's.

What a great bar. Awesome chilled vibe. Beautiful cocktails. But best of all is the owner and bartender Soumi. We initially first met him as the Sake-san of Akiba and was mesmerized by his enthusiasm and knowledge of sake. Years later we randomly found him again in Beirut Bunker as we were traversing through Canberra's bars. Oh what a surprise it was! His special home-made yuzumi cocktail he served us was just magnificent. Will be back for sure.

Dropped in to the Bunker last Friday night. I haven't experienced hospitality like that since that very cold night in the hands of a warm and generous woman in rural Sweden. But that's a story for another time. Ask for a buluga vodka martini which is absolutely filthy. Best Martini in town. Ask for Soumi..if Soumi's not around ask for Simmo, if Simmo's not around ask for Kenny..if Kenny is not around ask for Thom.
