Beautiful day to be enjoying the most thick juicy chicken schnitzel and parmi with salad. Listened to live music which set the mood this afternoon I recommended "The Dock" for that chill beach pub vibes.

A group of us dined at the Dock in the dome they have assembled temporarily. The whole experience was lovely, the food was great and they have a nice selection of drinks. The staff are welcoming and offered my mother a complimentary cocktail to celebrate her birthday which was lovely.

Fabulous restaurant at Kingston Foreshore. Choice of eating inside, outside or, for special occasions, in the Dock Dining Dome. Great range of food and drink options. Staff were very attentive and food was freshly prepared and delivered to the table quickly. The food was fantastic with generally large serving sizes. Well with visiting. Check out there daily specials and offerings as well.

We went to The Dock on Saturday night and it was perfect. We got there an hour before our booking so had to table hop for a bit while we enjoyed some drinks pre dinner. We knew there was a young lady performing live that night so had booked a table far enough away so we could still chat but close enough that we could enjoy the music and we were given the perfect table. The 4 of us all loved our food - we had the nachos, The Dock Pizza, the chicken pizza and my husband is still raving about the best chicken snitzel he ever had (now that's a glowing review). The crowd were a great mix and the vibe was relaxed and fun. It was a fantastic night out! Highly recommend

We went to the dock in between looking at rental properties, spending about 90 mins sitting outside that Saturday afternoon. The pizza we got, the dock special was out to us in 10 mins. and quite good with the drinks we had. It's also an excellent spot for drinks with colleagues. Recommended making a booking however, as it does fill up fast.

Nestled in amongst the nations most notorious landmarks is one that lives even bigger in the hearts of Canberrans - The Dock, Kingston Foreshore. he friendly The Eye Fillet steak with Red Wine Jus is a little slice of heaven, befitting of any fancy eatery in the land. Don’t waste your hard earned cash in over priced public servant-baiting restaurants, go to the Dock, where great food meets great company. Legend has has it the patch of land that the pub built on was blessed by the late, great Walter Burley Griffin himself prior to the construction of the lake. Do yourself a favour

Pleasant pub bar with great views of the lake side. The selection of drafts was good even though some taps had ran out. Good selection of bottled items and the food was good sized with a relatively small menu. All the usual essentials present such as a chicken parmy etc... Prices moderate, has got outdoor sitting as well. Staff friendly.

The Dock is on awesome little bar with great service, good food, nice selection of beers and awesome staff situated on the lake in Kingston, Canberra. I was there on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy and had a great atmosphere... really enjoyed hanging out there. The food is reasonably priced and you get food servings. Really loved this place!

Quite a good place to lunch with a group of friends but the food style, while attempting to offer variation on the run of the mill burgers and chips, needs to focus more on flavoursome options rather than Mexican heat and grease. I would not go back as a first choice.

The best thing about this place was the golden gaytime cocktail!!! So good!! All the cocktails were great, staff and service was good. Food was ok, pretty standard pub food, but then we did order a chicken burger and nachos. It was quite busy so it was really loud. It's wheelchair accessible but the bars high and outside the tables are really close together and are that picnic bench style.

We celebrated an office function here, great afternoon and evening spent. Service was exceptional very well looked after. We were in the covered outdoor area, it was a cold day but you wouldn't of noticed, as the heating was great. Highly recommend having a drink and dinner here, overlooking the foreshore.

Food was lovely. Here comes the BUT. Cutlery was blunt no serated edge on them. I asked for bottles of water during dinner. First bottle cold, all the others were very warm. After dinner some of the people on our dinner table bought one drink and then the whole table was cut off!!??!! Very disappointing evening here. Do not go here if you do not wish to be cut off citing, RSA and you have had too much, when you have had none!! Would you not be upset?!?!

I would love to thank the guys at the Dock for saving my Grandsons birthday on 28/1/21 after being turned away from Walt & Burley (see separate review on B&D). The guys made a table appear for 14 damp patrons. The staff made us comfortable and delivered good food and drink for the night. A nice plate and knife were made available for the cake and my grandson had a memorable birthday. Thank you once again and I would highly recommend your venue.

Easily the best Sports pub in Canberra. Had the pleasure of watching the Raiders with the T-Bone special. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Cooked to perfection with great accompaniments. Then rolled into the live music. All in all a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and evening.

As an idea - would be great if your hostess gives a hint like "please get your menu yourself" and "order at the bar" instead of ignoring us for 15 minutes. No hard feelings, but leaves so-so impression. Especially when you are sitting with a hungry kid. Good luck!

Went there for the McGregor fight and got outdoor seating. It was summer and 30 degrees outside but they didn’t have any outdoor fans at all, which meant we were all sitting in sweat. Plus side is the chicken schnitzel size is huge and tasted great! Can’t fault the food or drinks at all.

I have been to The Dock many times where it has been great but tonight was awesome. We ordered a coffee, at approx 7:20pm and at 7:45 we still didn’t have the coffee. No big deal really because they were very busy. We alerted the bar staff that the coffee hadn’t arrived and within 2mins we had the coffee plus an excessive refund (which we couldn’t accept). The coffee was great, the service was great, this place is a must visit for a relaxed, easy-going night out.

I shared a spicy margherita pizza and sweet potato chips. The chips had a little bit of feta on top and were great. I initially thought it was some very expensive chips but the bowl was actually so massive that the price was justified. The pizza was pretty basic though.

Could not fault my experience here. We showed up with no reservation on their third birthday and the place was packed! We didn't have to wait at all for a table. The staff went above and beyond to get us a table (even the security guard). The food was quick and delicious , well priced and accommodating for specific dietary requirements. Burger and fries were fulfilling and so are pizzas and schnitzels. Nice option for drinks. You can also get ribs here which are cooked to perfection. Overall you should check it out.

Smart yet casual atmosphere, hats off to the chefs and staff always seem to be attentive and happy. Ordered the crispy skinned chicken breast, served with asparagus, fennel, caramelized onions, peas and crispy prosciutto. The smells were amazing, presentation great and portion was substantial! The chicken breast alone was larger than a schnitzel you get at most pubs! I would go back again and again for that dish alone. Everytime i go to the foreshore now, the dock is one of my go to venues.

A popular and bustling bar that serves great chips. It's where many Inner Southsiders go to watch sports events, and is popular on Friday nights. Happy hour is good value too. The bar staff are friendly and happy to advise on their selection. It's bench and high chair seating, plus chairless standing tables in the form of big barrels.

We had a special occasion gathering with girlfriends. Location is great although we sat inside and couldn't really appreciate the views. Staff is friendly and looked very well after us. I tried cider and (fish) barra burger with chips. Chips were crunchy and had some nice spicy flavour to them. Fish burger was not the best. Barramundi was deep fried which I wasn't expecting so it gave some oily after taste. Otherwise, the burger had a plain flavour and I will not be ordering it in future. Girls enjoyed pulled pork poutine, the beef burgers and pizza. Pizza looked nice. Beef carpaccio had funny taste and look so the friend of mine was not happy with it. Altogether, atmosphere is good, the place is popular and open when everything else is closed, which is a bonus. I will be happy to go to The Dock again but will be more careful with what I choose from the menu.

Nice range of food choices, unfortunately service is not always nice. My friends and I ordered a take away meal, I guessed the guy who put the order forgot to add that to the receipt since the plates came as if we were going to eat there, so we asked politely if the waitress could put our food in take away containers and she nodded in a rude manner then just placed the food in our table, although we said thank you she didn't say a thing.

This place is poppin on a friday night or when there is a footy match on tele. they've got multiple large LEDs hanging up in the bar. it's a higher end pub that's clean and has good food and service. but good luck finding a table during their most busy times.
