I saw some reviews saying the food is too salty. I agree! They were over salted unfortunately. The price was reasonable for a pub meal. Good location.

Wednesday special was so delicious! We got take away to have at the wave pools. $20 garlic prawns with rice, $20 fish & chips (not in picture), $2 each natural oysters (I got a dozen). Everything was so yummy! Even the sauces we super good that we had to take the left over home lol. My husband's fish was so flavourful and a decent size, more chips would of been appreciated. $2 extra for small side salad but we didn't get it. Oyster was good and seafood sauce that it came with was good too. There's cooked oysters for $2.50 each on offer. The garlic prawns was so rich in a good way I would love to try the chilli one because of how good the garlic one was. No complaints. We'll be back on another Wednesday.

If you are visiting Darwin Waterfront a great place for a cold drink or meal is the Fiddlers Green Irish style pub. A large venue with outdoor undercover dining or inside restaurant area. Large well stocked bar nice cold beers. Order at counter food and drink get table number and meals are brought to your table. All sorts of seating options from booths to cafe and bar seating. The menu was varied with a mixed of traditional pub meals and more modern choices with daily specials. John had the special rump steak topped with half a crayfish chips and salad. I had chilli mussels both meals were well presented and very tasty. I love chilli mussels I order them a lot and these were the best I have had. The sauce was less soupy with a great amount of spice for me. The bowl was huge with more than enough Turkish bread to soak up that terrific sauce. great value the service was super friendly and attentive. A great atmosphere with fabulous music over sound system. Will return

You won't go hungry at the Fiddlers, huge servings is the standard and it is top quality. Only place I have found of late that serves good old fashion lambs fry and bacon. Make a point of stopping for top value.

Fiddlers has always been a personal favourite! Great meals, quality of food is amazing. Staff are friendly! Prices are reasonable but it's worth it. Come here as often as I can, nice environment to sit and enjoy the waterfront view while sipping on a few beers!

Had Sunday breakfast here for a change. Ordered the Irish breakfast which was terrific. 2 full middlecut rashers of bacon, 2 perfectly poached eggs (my choice), lots of black pudding slices, loads of mushrooms, half a grilled tomato and 2 slices of toast, all for just $19. An enormous meal which would have easily done 2 meals for me but my hubby managed most of his. The photo may not look too appealing but I'll be back for this again but will share it with someone. Back again 5 months later for Sunday lunch. Enjoyed the roast pork with roast spuds, pumpkin, cauliflower cheese & steamed veg. Everything piping hot except the steamed veg which were almost stone-cold. Generous serve of pork and great crackling. Very good value at $20.

Staff were great and we were greeted well. Was not impressed with the chilli mussels at all. Sauce lacked flavour and some of the mussels weren't much bigger than clams. A touch overcooked as well.

I had dinner here 3 times this week. I had the choice to eat anywhere, but after my first night, with my steak cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection (whoever is operating the grill knows what they are doing!) I returned twice, I ordered different meals with the same result, awesome! As a lone patron, all the staff made me feel welcome. They have a huge menu selection, great location and friendly/fun staff. Highly recommended.

Delicious pub food! Plenty of seating available inside and outside, with a variety of booth style, or traditional tables & chairs. Friendly staff who offer good customer service. An Irish based theme with plenty of Guinness on tap. The Garlic Bread was thick, crunchy and full of flavour. I had a Beef Snitzel with chips and salad. The dressing on the salad was lovely. The Snitzel was very large and tasty, accompanied by a delicious herb flavoured gravy. Plenty of thick cut chips. Serving size was definitely value for money. There is a large lawned area next to the outside dining. Wheelchair access ♿ is limited, with more room in the outside dining area.

Ok book ahead and know it will be busy. I'd say it was bussling when we arrived and left with just about every table full for the duration. We ordered and advised a 40 minute wait ( as I said it was bussling and you would expect that). You go to bar to order and pay for drinks . You go to cashier to order then go back and pay at end. The food came out after approximately 30 mins. Gave us time to chat and grab a drink. So allow the time...its worth it. The meals were great. Taste, serving size and cooked to perfection. Now we had Mr 10 with us and he thoght he ordered a parmagina, not a schnitzel ( he wasn't happy when a schnitzel arrived). We talked to the staff. 5 minutes later he had cheese ontop of his schnitzel . Impeccable service. As I said they suggested a 40 min wait, but when we need the schnitzel converted couldn't had done so any quicker with absolutely no problems attitude. Thank you. For that 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Walking distance to CBD and bus stop. Whole area has nice vibe. Quiet, clean old Irish pub theme with lots of character and friendly staff. There is a special pasta dinner (18$) filling. Fettucini carbonara had lots of cheese and bacon, slightly salty but very tasty. The chorizo was a little spicy but also very tasty. Wine (9$ for #merlot) possible to eat outside, with lots of play area for kids.

How good is this place! We were treated like family. Food is fantastic and priced well for families. The beer is cold (they need a little help with their pouring skills). The outdoor seating is spectacular. Mum and Dad can sit and relax whilst the kids play in the park. Totally recommend this place.

Service ⭐⭐⭐ I accept that it was a busy night but we should have been told that it would be over 1 hour for our meal to arrive, there was an excessive amount of takeaway orders being done. My advice being if you are in the hospitality and food industry focus on your customers inside the restaurant during busy nights

I had dinner here by myself while on a work trip to Darwin. Had the Sunday roast special. I cannot fault the food it was good and the portion size is massive (pretty good value for 19 dollars) however the service was a bit cold. I was not greeted and after I ordered at the counter was not asked how the meal was. I had to ask for a steak knife myself when I was struggling cutting the roast and needed to ask for water, I assume that because I had ordered a beer that it was assumed I didn't need water.

Just ordered the Porterhouse steak, it's cooked to perfection. Service is first class. Prices are the biggest surprise, who can serve steaks for $20? This place is a must visit, even if you have to travel.

I wanted to say a big thank you for the Bar manager Antonio. I went to Darwin from Sydney over the public holiday. My wife and I went there one evening and ended up going all over the weekend. Antonio has an outstanding customer service and made so nice drinks to my wife. Well done Antonio! Sure will pump over again when come back to Darwin.

Went with family and everyone had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and professional and the atmosphere was spot on. My dad had the Chicken Parma and it wad huge about a third of his plate was taken up by the Chicken. I Had the shamrock burger which was one of the best burgers ice had recently in both flavour and substance. Its was a great night out.

Service is always relatively good here. Always enjoy a good feed at Fiddlers Green, they're very accommodating to your needs. Have eaten here a few times and its mostly been good. One time, my food was undercooked, but they quickly took it back and fixed it immediately. They were very apologetic. All in all, great place to eat for a good price.

Cannot go wrong here. I came for dinner one night. Then back the next night. Then the next day for lunch. And another dinner the next. No meal has left me hungry or unimpressed. Food was tasty, well presented, and a sizable portion. Recommend paying by cash only. Tried paying using paywave and the eftpos terminal malfunctioned mid transaction. Was asked to use another terminal to pay without receiving a cancellation receipt from the first failed attempt. Seemed to be known problem from overhearing the frank discussion of the staff working behind the bar.

But recently we just discovered Fidddlers Green and boy oh boy I wish we discovered this place earlier. Great place and ambiance and absolutely friendly people working their I'm sure they are proud in what they do! Kudos! for a wonderful experience.

Sensational! Best meal I've had in ages. Got the everyday lunch special being lamb shank (for $15, or add a second shank for an additional $10). Of course I got the second shank. The meal came very quickly and for $25 the size of the shanks was generous and they tasted delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Spot on Fiddlers. You've smashed it out of the park! PS: The missus got the butter chicken ($15 as well) and thought the onions could have been cut smaller, but she seemed to finish it without much complaints none-the-less :), so a winner there too on all accounts.

Hi my wife and I had lunch today at Fiddlers Green and we both agreed that the eye fillet stake was cook Beautiful and the bar was stepping back in time with an old rustic look and had a very Irish feel to the staff were friendly and helpful they do not do table services so if you won't to eat make sure you see them at the bar the fiddlers green is on the waterfront opposite the wave pool and convention center check them out I hope you enjoy it as much as we did this was our first time and we love it and will definitely be coming back cheers Billy.
