Been here at night plenty of times and always have a good time. Easy going mixed age crowd. What impressed me was the Thai beef salad I had for lunch. Sensational..!!!

Atmosphere and bar good. Food disappointing. Steak sandwich slide apart as soon as you tried to pick it up. Too much filling for the small bread roll and too much mayo. Mozzarella belongs on pizzas not as a thick layer on a steak sandwich.

Be careful of trusting the food times, today despite normally being open all day; they’d decided to close early. So we missed out. Otherwise seems like a great pub and nice beer. Need to be consistent with adverts.

A local pub located on the corner of Mitchell and Peel street. Everyday has a special, so glance over the week to find something that appeals to your taste buds. I find the fried seafood excellent, not greasy or oily, with a range of tasty treats. Staff are efficient but attitude could be improved. Just wash that Down with a cold one.

The best Irish style food I've eaten outside of Dublin, with the best service I've received anywhere. All the staff are friendly, helpful and beautiful on the eye. Wish I could have took the whole place with me when I left Darwin. The beer and choice of whiskey on offer is also fantastic, the best beer I had in town always ice cold and crisp actually better than the local back home. And great entertainment every night ranging from karaoke to live bands. If you go to Darwin and dont go to shennanigans even for just a beer your missing out.

Had a great lunch there. Club sandwiches are huge. Good range of brews. Check this ! At 9.30pm we bought a loaf of bread, went to the pub for drink on the way home and the loaf of bread wasn't allowed in. Fair dinkum !! We explained the loaf wasn't loaded but no good. It had to go behind the till for us to enter. Weird eh ? We ate it this morning and it didn't explode. A pic of the dangerous loaf is attached.

I used to have my lunch here every day when i lived in Darwin. The manager there was an Irish woman from Dublin she was very nice I forget her name. Had some great laughs there. What an amazing place to have lived and to have worked in. I worked for a cowboy named big dog and poodle in a formright company. Shags was the best always have hot chick working there too. It was a great place.

Great Irish pub, wide selection of beers, and staff was really friendly and nice. I just stepped in for a pre-lunch beer, so I cannot comment on the food at the moment. However, they had a pretty decent menu! At the time of my visit, the pub wasn't much packed and it had a great atmosphere. I am definitely coming back to this place for some stouts. :)

Had my Rocky Horror birthday party in the function room last month. Great venue, amazing food as well as most awesome bar staff in Darwin. Thanks guys you are the best and gave me a night to remember! Great value for money and not an empty glass all night. For anything else, this the venue! Great 2 for 1 meals, delightful lunch specials, steaks and Trivia on a Tuesday, ridiculously good live music, do yourself a favour, go there, enjoy!

We called in to this pub for a casual drink. It is Irish themed as well as having several historic items on display. It has cosy booths as well as stools plus tables and chairs both inside and under the verandah. Although we did not eat there the menu looked very reasonably priced and there were daily extra specials listed over the bar. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

Irish pub with very few Irish beers. A shame. Ordered a medium rare porterhouse and it arrived 40min later well done. I didn't send it back because after that wait, I was hungry and didn't want that again. It seemed suite busy for a Wednesday night, but the slow service, lack of beer choices, and over cooked food didn't impress me, especially at quite a high price.

Thanks for letting me know. The Angus is pretty dull
