Pros: Location! Set right in the middle of the Hobart CBD - everything is super close if you are walking. Lots of places to eat around Elizabeth street which is just around the corner from the hotel. Rooms are okay - based on the location, you get what you are paying for. Cons: No parking! If you are renting a car, feel free to park outside on the road on Collins Street after hours and if you move your car before 8 am the next morning you should be fine! Because the hotel is situated on the Main Street, it can get noisy sometimes at night, but nothing too much to worry about. Also, the pub downstairs the hotel is only open for dinner on the weekends which is a bummer!

This was an interesting place to stay. It's cheap and basic and you definitely get what you paid for. It's clean and the staff are nice. It was a little annoying when they kept calling us to find out when we were getting there - even though we told them the first time they called us. They advertised breakfast but that's not included anymore. However that being said - the staff were kind enough to give us a snack pack instead. It's a great location but yeah, definitely a basic and cheap place to stay if you're just passing by. Oh! And they don't have a lift to get to the upstairs rooms.

We made a booking the day before checking in and unfortunately not long after, got stuck in a hard Victoria Lockdown which meant we couldn't catch our flight the next morning. The team were very lovely in issuing a full refund and the customer service was excellent. Thank you so much for your understand and we hope to stay with you once borders reopen!

Perfect hotel for a stay in Hobart. John and all his staff were very friendly and so helpful. Their warm welcome really made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Great breakfasts and great value. Will definitely be back and recommend lots :)

Stayed there close to end of our trip. Good value for what we got. In fact you can walk to just about anything you need within a few blocks. We arrived early from our flight and the staff was more than accommodating. The hotel for the most part is kept fairly clean.

Had a great stay at the hotel. It was walking distance to Salamanca and the piers. Rooms were clean and toilets were great. There was a fridge, hair dryer, water boiler. Though it was above a bar and gaming centre with slot machines, it was quiet at night in the room.

lovely little hotel (around 12 rooms I think) right at Hobart CBD area. stone's throw to all the major shopping arcades, wharf and pier, and salamanca market. because it's a small hotel, no lifts installed. the rooms are huge and basic amenities all available. breakfast available for in-house guests, but they take a long time to prepare, so make sure you have enough time. highly recommended.

The staff here are the best, they always remember customers and are great to have a chat to. Perfect place for a quick drink while waiting for the next bus as it's so close to the bus mall. They always have excellent drink specials too.

This was quite a nice little place in the middle of the city. Very nice, clean room, friendly staff, good food. Held our bags for us while we spent the day walking the city. We had a room upstairs on an inner courtyard, so it was very quiet. I'd recommend it!

Fantastic service and recommendations from John at check In, later when we took a rest in the bar and then again at breakfast. Great central location. Clean and tidy room with an included breakfast which made our stay even better value. Would stay again.

Good sized room with free a la carte breakfast and laundry room ($4 / wash). No free parking though but you can park after 6pm on Collins street up to 830am after that would be 30mins metered parking. Location is in good proximity to shops & cafes. Overall this is a good place to sleep in Hobart, if you want other amenities stay in a resort.
