Customer service - staff were friendly and inviting. Food was okay - baos and chicken wings were delicious. Nachos would have been better without the beans, each to their own though.
Drinks were good - lots on offer to choose from, from local Tasmanian beers and ciders to other various beers and ciders as well.
Atmosphere was great - Friday night, the place was bustling - but in a good way. People were happy, footy was on the TV.
Overall good experience!

Good location, big space inside and cool interior with a fireplace too!! Staffs are really friendly and attentive. They have cool selection for Parmy! Everything taste good. The local tap beers are a bit more expensive that the usual in your regular pubs. But by far, ine of the good schnitzel pub place in Hobart, I think.

Brunswick hotel is such an amazing place! We are visiting from Sydney, and thoroughly enjoyed the vibe that the restaurant brought, and the food was so incredible! A little on the pricey side, but in my opinion it is worth it for the taste!!
Highly rated, and will definitely be coming back :))

After landing and walking around in arctic Hobart it didn't take long to make it to the nearest pub for some beer, chips and heaters.
It's a nice after-work pub and we got it just before the rush and didn't stay long after it came.
Chips were nice and so was the cauliflower.
Had I worked in the CBD and spent much of my salary on large but regretful nights here I'd probably love it but it as it stands I just like it.

Another great meal at the Brunswick. This time all orders were from the very extensive Parmi menu. One was "Convict", one was "Amigos", and both meals were really, really good (probably the best parmi ever). The service was excellent, dining area is very comfortable, and the bathroom lovely.

I was doing Feb fast when I visited. This was due to me drinking a little too much throughout December and January. Decided I needed a little break.
It's hard around that time of year. End of work parties roll into Christmas, Christmas rolls into new year, then it's time for summer BBQs and festivals.
The lemon lime bitters I drank was excellent. As was the service.

Had a meal here out in the back area. Felt like your outside when your actually in a covered indoor space. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and polite. The meal i had fish was very nice and tasty the batter was crispy. Others had the variety of Parmi and all were happy with the meals. The stand out was the crispy fried pink eyes a side dish everyone tried and loved, should of ordered more. Clean toilets. Adhering to covid requirements with notices, crosses on floor and limits.

Great pub in a superb location! Wood fire has been going when I've been previously but not on this occasion.
Drinks list looks good. Menu was fantastic. A fantastic parmi and I've had other things from the menu before.
This night I had the wallaby parmi with wilted greens and a cream sauce. Tasty crumb, greens plentiful, and a great sauce. Chips on the side were great, large cut with just enough seasoning. Small lettuce side salad with shaved parmigiana was a nice touch. The lady had fried calamari. Tasty and tender, and a good serving size. The ?hot sauce / chili mayonnaise was fantastic.
The only thing letting this review down was I feel as though the interior dining space could do with a little more work. We were in a space with a concrete floor. Maybe a flower on the table, or a candle? Not sure. The service by an older lady was a little flat, but three young gents that we saw were very nice.

5 stars. A great Aussie pub. Food was AMAZING. Best Parmi around. Fireplace. Beautiful old building with on theme decor. Worthy.

Temporarily Closed####
One of the oldest place in hobart. Located in the center of the CBD. Popular for social or corporate gatherings. It has got a bar with bistro. In addition it has got the facility for staying for the guest. There is live music in the pub as well. Unfortunately the hotel is closed temporarily now due to burning on fire.
L. D.
Grabbed a Hob Parmi and chips. Was one of the best parmis I've ever had. Would definitely recommend.
Good vibe here too, staff were friendly and helpful and not too loud. Although, it was a Monday night. Overall great experience.
T. B.
Genuinely surprised. Went for an average pub meal and ended up with a pretty darn good feed. Was much more done up than your average pub and the food was delicious with a good selection. Portions were very reasonable too. Staff were very friendly and only too happy to seat us even though we had no reservation for dining area. Highly recommended for a night out.
A. H.
Excellent lunch time meals and if you're from Launceston they have Boags red on tap. Which is awesome!

Review on the accommodation only (not the pub / restaurant food)
We stayed at Brunswick Hotel for 2 nights as a last minute booking in Hobart. We stayed in the ensuite room (room #5).
For its CBD location and very close proximity to Royal Hobart Hospital, the price was very reasonable given the less than 2 Weeks' booking notice ($180 / night).
The ensuite room was clean but very small and basic / Spartan, but we were expecting that given the price.
The bathroom floor however was quite sticky, and the bathroom didn't have a rack to hang the towels or clothing. And the bathroom door couldn't be properly locked. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom.
There was also loud music from an adjacent venue past midnight, that was still audible with the windows closed.
For the ensuite room itself, I would've given it 2 stars given the less impressive bathroom and the loud music, but I give an extra star for the excellent location relative to Royal Hobart Hospital.
L. S.
Great accommodation love the alley pub setting
Had 40 gallon fire drum burning all night
Food and drinks chef and staff A+
J. B.
The Brunswick has an authentic feeling to it. The staff are friendly with service seeming great when we visted. We had 2 delicous parma's off their huge selection range (photo is the traditional parma) we washed them down with two craft sour beers that were also top notch.
O. M.
Amazing schnitzel (Tassie) but all options look delicious! Promo Parma & Pint on Wednesdays is wonderful.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming
D. S.
Excellent meal, large portions large variety of chicken parmigiana different toppings, staff were fantastic and so friendly
H. D.
Beds were low standard, air con was hard to stabilize and took a long time to heat the room. No stairs for bunk bed. No bench or storage in bathroom. Good quality room for a back packers. Good location for the hotel. Free wifi available. Shower was good. Good staff service, very welcoming and good explanation of all procedures. Parking is available outside, very limited and paid between 8.30am and 4pm
K. T.
We stayed in the hostel. Decent room with clean towels each day. Little bar fridge in the room and sink. Checking in wasn’t an easy task but we received a two for one drinks voucher on arrival. The place feels quite dated and old but the pub downstairs is very nice and new.
N. J.
Decent pub. Good beers on tap, standard pub menu, and lots of screens out the back for the sport. On weekends likely a bloke in the corner playing acoustic covers at a level that is just enough to make it hard to have a conversation with the person next to you.
A. S.
Service was a bit meh but not horrible. The wait for food was the killer. It really wasn't very busy at all and we waited at least 45mins for the food to come out BUT!
Was it worth the wait? Yep. FREAKIN BEST PARMY I'VE EVER HAD. Wow!
Just a bit quicker would have been great.
P.
Alright. To start. Meals are great. I had the sirloin steak. A little expensive but apart from that pretty good. Good service but staff were a bit eh. Unsure. Hard to explain. They are nice enough but they are very confused on everything. Not great at explaining. Good with food allergies though.
Anyway I rate a 4 because of the service. Drinks are a bit expensive and meals abit on the expensive side aswell.
Good experience
A. M.
We just snuck in in time for the kitchen to still be open and ordered lunch and drinks. Wine came almost instantly and the food wasn't far behind it. The meals were big and tasty! Well worth the money. Only thing I'd like to have seen was some different kid options and maybe more options for those with allergies/intolerances. Also service was a bit icy HOWEVER we did arrive fairly late so I understood that.
M. M.
Clean and comfortable. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. It will be interesting to see what they are doing out the back. The new menu looks good and the pricing seems more fair than before. Haven't eaten there yet, but certainly will soon. Please get rid of the ridiculous antlers in frames in the front bar! 😐
J. T.
Some of the best parmies in town coupled with some of the worst service.
Made a booking for Sunday for two, thinking it would be a quiet night - once we arrived we were notified we would not be sitting in the dining room. Instead, we were seated in the cold bar area and instructed bluntly to order at the bar as their table service could not possibly extend past the dining room.
Key takeout: It's a pub meal - don't expect an intimate dining experience.
The food is pretty good though.
D.
We were impressed with the friendly service and well priced meals. The menu had something for everyone, with an impressive selection of chicken parmas. Adding to the relaxing atmosphere was a musician playing a good mix of acoustic covers.
H. S.
Fantastic staff, excellent menu and great selection of beer and other drinks. It may be a backpackers upstairs, but it's classy inside and casual outside. Caters for all, well priced. Best pub in Hobart
J. d. L.
Budget accommodation at excellent location. Great pub under accommodation. Definitely no frills. The sheets are clean and the bed is comfortable. Don't expect anything exceptional and you won't be disappointed. Woolworths, cafes and restaurants nearby. Great spot if you want to walk around.
P. T.
Awesome service. Nice chilled vibe.
Sadly the food was very bland.
The prawns over cooked, the scallops unrecognisable in flavour or texture due to the way they were over cooked and drowned in a bland sauce.
Parmi was also disappointing. The schnitzel a poor 1cm thick, covered in a mountain of toppings, somehow with no flavour.
The kitchen massively let this otherwise nice pub down.
Y. D. S.
We had the chance to stay for 3 nights at this hotel while we visited Hobart in our road trip around Tasmania. The hotel itself is historic, which I do love old buildings, something very attractive to me. As you could expect from old buildings sometimes is the infraestructure inside. There are no elevators (lifts) to go up or down, the rooms are really small, unfortunately we had to share the shower and toilet. They are clean at least, so we were not very annoyed because of that. There is a bar dowstairs which is very convenient for the people that stays in this Hotel, nonetheless, it was closed for the entire Sunday we were in Hobart, but we did not mind as we preferred to eat and drink around the marina. This hotel is affordable compare to others, but, If I go again, I would rather spend a bit more and stay somewhere more comfortable
G. W.
Meals a very generous. Great trivia also. The host Marcus is very charismatic.
N.
There are lots of Brunswick Hotels in Australia but the Hobart one is probably one of the best. Stopped in here for a beer and the pleasant surroundings made it worth my while. They have taken an old historic hotel and made it modern.
D. G.
Nice hostel. They keep the rooms and bathrooms clean. The turn-around to get checked in when they were full the night before went as well as can be expected. They have a check-bag room for while you are waiting, also a good kitchen and common area.
M. S.
Great for Friday after work drinks. Meals are good at a good price. Bar staff are often under pressure but the wait is never too long. Live music makes this a great little pub.
D. V.
Fantastic service and the food was delicious. While I couldn't finish my parma because the serve was MASSIVE I was really impressed with the value for money. The haloumi fries were out of this world! We will come back here next time we are in Hobart.
M. G.
Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Service was prompt given we were there at 8pm on a Friday night. Bar was fairly busy and live music was pretty good, and not so loud that we couldn't hold a conversation. Will be back again.
S. W.
Great food, friendly staff and fairly reasonable prices.
Plenty of space for large groups between the restaurant and the 'beer garden' out the back (it's actually fully enclosed).
They were very accommodating for our group of 15 for dinner and service was prompt and attentive. I would definitely go back next time I was in town.
B.
Nice interior, nice 'beer garden' outside and great food throughout. Food and drinks are on the slightly more expensive side for a pub, but not too bad. Bar staff are good and know their drinks quite well.
C. W.
Rooms are extremely outdated and tiny, found a previous guests shorts next to the bed so questioning if it's been cleaned. But the food down stairs is amazing and such a cool atmosphere.
J. B.
This is a pretty decent bar in the centre of Hobart with a range of craft beers on tap and good selection of spirits and wines. Up-market pub meals in the restaurant with a good specials board or out back for something more causal. Live music some nights.
d.
Great pub atmosphere..... it's noisy with sports playing on the large screen TVs, music in the background and people drinking, eating and enjoying the food. The food here is good and you will find all the pub favourites here but the portions are huge.
A. H.
Great meal, great beers, fantastic staff.
Excellent a must visit in Hobart
C.
Visited for a work dinner and was very impressed by the food. The place has a great atmosphere and is very conveniently located in the CBD. I was disapointed though later. I phoned to book a table for another night and was instead given an email to enquire through. It was days before I received a response confirming I had a table, but by then I had already booked another venue. Would happily visit again though.
C. F.
It is a basic simple backpakers/hotel in an old building. However the rooms are well kept, clean and good enough. We had an ensuite bathroom that too be fair was very small, but worst case you could use the shared bathrooms. Location is very good in the heart of everything, with a Woolworths across the road and close to restaurants and other shops. The pub downstairs is nice with live music (not sure when though). It is value for money in my view.
C. F.
Great service and atmosphere but the restaurant should not be called a grill because the chef has no idea how to cook a steak. I asked for rare and specifically told the waitress to let the chef know that I didn’t mind if it was undercooked because most places in Hobart think medium rare is rare. So he overcooked it and it was medium to well. Very disappointed. Go back to TAFE mate you have failed.
M. M.
We went here for dinner and the food was great. They were unable to make changes to the menu, ie add prawns to the vegetable pasta, but the lamb had some awesome flavours. The service was fantastic as well.
D. P.
Booked for 7:30 dinner, we were seated around quarter to 8 with apologies from the staff . Overall the food was very tasty and the chips are Devine. Would definitely come back left with a happy belly.
m.
The main bar has a great selection of drinks. The menu is varied, the prices are a liitle high but the quality of the food is good. The restaurant is let down by staff who never seen happy to serve you and there have been mistakes with my order every time I've eaten here. Skip the main bar and head down the alley to the beer garden, which is brilliant. The hole in the wall bar and bar snacks are perfect.
A. a. I.
Great food, atmosphere was amazing and service is very exceptional.
J. F.
Great meal and service. The kids enjoyed their meals so much we had to order extra. Thanks for a great first meal out after covid.
S. G.
Happy friendly staff, good place to have a drink after an early evening meeting.
D.
Referring to the accommodation: standard expected from a back backers. Shower hot water was intermittent at any time of the day and the head was too low with no way of adjusting it. Serves the purpose for those needing a quick overnight bed to sleep in, but nothing more.
A. W.
Room was well priced, spotless and comfortable. Staff were awesome. Friendly and welcoming. Food was top notch. Will stay again for sure. Not a luxury hotel, yes bathroom was small. Was given 5 stars for value for money and quality food.
L.
Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon (rib eye fillet) really wrapped up my day fantastically. Fresh draft beer and very friendly and helpful service staff.
Love to be back soon. Big thumb up for down under. Cheers!
R. H.
The rooms was basic but comfortable for sleeping and passing a bit of time. The triple room was ok for one person but three would be very crowded. Great location right in the heart of Hobart. Everything you need is right outside the door with easy access to some great visitor locations.
E.
Pros: good location, decent ammenities including kitchen and lounge area, friendly staff. Cons: bathroom was a bit basic and had to pay $100 (refunded) deposit? Otherwise it was a good stay :)
T. R.
Had a brilliant meal with colleagues last night. A great atmosphere, friendly and engaging team with a menu well worth exploring if you are in Tasmania. Located in the heart of the city, top of the list for destinations in Hobart.
A. M.
I really enjoy eating here. The meals are massive for the price and the booths are cosy. The staff are very professional and although they didn't know a few details on the menu they were more than willing to go and ask
C. B.
Great, fun staff. An OK selection of beer and top-class parmas. Well worth a visit.
C. S.
Food was tasty and came out really quick (although we were there on a less busy night). Wait staff were friendly and happy to supply water and containers for leftovers. Would definitely visit again.
H. t. p. g.
Good rooms, comfortable bedding, free wifi. A really nice place to stay, only a couple issues being loose taps in some of the showers and one of the hallway lights not working, making it a bit hard to find the keyhole to my room in the dark
P. S.
Love that Brunswick always has a gluten free menu. First Parmigiana in maybe 30 years.
P. H.
Lovely meal
However more could be done with the cleaning in the dining area
Cob webs in the lights on the wall and the hanging ones well , don’t know the last time they were dusted
Otherwise pleasant
L. &. M. M. &. M.
Really nice place, great staff, amazing food. My only con : the smoking area in the lane has heaters but they're too high on the walls and do pretty much nothing to warm you up.
N. M.
Delicious food, cold craft beers all in a relaxed atmosphere.
J. T.
It is a budget hotel. Rooms with bunk beds, no private toilet or shower room so you get what you pay. Location is good. More for backpacker, there is no lift at the hotel so expect to carry up your own luggages.
B. W.
Some of the best parmis you can get in Hobart along with a great, affordable menu and a nice selection of beers, ciders and other drinks. The highlight is definitely Wednesday night Quizmeisters trivia held in the Grill up the back hosted by Tubes Taylor (make sure you book).
G.
I went to the bar/restaurant area for an organised event, and the place was great: good atmosphere and decent service except for perhaps the long wait times (understandable perhaps given the number of people attending). Food wasn't too bad either.
A. H.
Visited on a saturday night for dinner, kitchen closes at 9pm, we had been to a sports match, so we only just got in - a common problem in Hobart!
I had squid which was ok.
Well heated, live singer who was good.
P. M.
Food was good. The variety of parmies is great and they aren't stupidly huge. Seems to be a smaller selection of drinks compared to some pubs.
T. K.
Always a good place for food and quiz nights are great!!
P. R.
Only there for 2 drinks, but atmosphere felt good
C. J.
Good meal, if you like parmigiana then there is a lot of choice. Good selection of drinks and I enjoyed watching the cricket while having a few drinks with friends.
C. P.
Decent food, was a great main meal, not a fan of the alternate drop entree and dessert, would prefer to make my own choices, good atmosphere, although very disappointed that the bar doesn't have any kind of sugar free soft drinks to mix with the alcohol
B.
Hotel is at center of the city Hobart. Average hotel, good for one night stay...very small room. If you are taking private double room, it's very tiny room and has common shared toilet and bathroom...
N. M.
Decent accommodation, affordable and centrally located. My stay was great except my room mate was a bit noisy but understandable as it is a 6-bunk bed room.
P. B.
Huge lunch. Friendly service. I love a parmi and they have lots of options.
P. B.
Feels like you are in a genuine, southern, aussie pub. Not the greatest range on tap, but friendly and a great escape from bad weather, within walking distance to Hobart central.
k. j.
Great friendly pub, live music. Very accommodating with our little baby..
J. S.
So...it's a "backpackers"...but it's so much more that that! We stayed in a single room. It had an ensuite, bed, and telle. It had everything you need if you're going to explore Hobart for the next day or two. The Hotel below offers amazing food.. and the best gravy if you ask my bf. It's central and a cheap place to explore the food and drinks of Tas.
C. P.
The kitchen was closing just as I walked in, the bar staff had a quick word with the kitchen and they whipped up a feed! It is a nice bar, good setting and great atmosphere, staff are very friendly and attentive
R. L.
While I only used the backpackers part, the patrons of the pub seemed happy and well catered too and the service and supplies for the backpackers were good... Only major downside is the pillows aren't very comfortable
K. O.
Atmosphere was great food was great only let down was the salad with my meal very very basic (only green leaves) . The chicken parmy itself was fantastic mind you. I would still go back for another meal
E. S.
As far as hostels go, pretty average, but as far as hotels go, pretty below average. The best part is the proximity to the water and most other points of interest around the Hobart region.
R. K.
Great chicken parmagiana selection. The chicken is always nice and moist. You can eat inside or outside most times. Service is pretty quick.
A. B.
We stayed here in the delux room, it was ok, no hair wash only soap and a little noisy but it is what it is a hotel above a pub, it was clean and affordable
E. M.
Good pub with a great location in the city. The food is really good. Little pricey but not so much that i wouldnt go back
A. D.
Gastro Pub in the middle of Hobart. Dinner was amazing and the service great. Nice atmosphere with a mix of people.
D. L.
Stood up to its bad reputation, the toilet door is half broken, I found chocolate coins and two sticky teaspoons under my bed. However the location is good and the pub is neat.
J. W.
What an awesome feed, probably one of the best parmas I've had in a long time, they even made a gluten free option at no extra cost... so easy. Friendly staff and a good vibe!
V. K.
We went here with baby, it was good for us, but we are easy going young parents, I dont think other families would want to stay here with a young one. Family rooms are on the top floor and it was a pain to carry to pram upstrairs.
A. M.
Great location, clean rooms, kitchen mostly clean (it is a hostel after all), nice hot showers, great food and atmosphere in the bar downstairs.
V. R.
I've been to the hotel to have some beers. At the bar you can find a good selection of Australian beers. Sometimes they have live music
K. H.
Great pub with good tucker. Busy as so book if you want a seat. Great atmosphere enjoyed by the nine to fivers.
S. D.
Clean , open , wheelchair friendly, well heated outdoor, Cold Beer . Proudly run Pub may I say . I will be going back
The Brunswick Hotel .
K. P.
Very comfortable setting, great beers on tap and good food at lunch/dinner times, however no food at all otherwise.
A. R.
The staff are excellent, the new menu looks good and the pricing seems more fair than before. Would happily eat there again.
Z. N.
Meal and happy hour were very much enjoyed
C. C.
Good service, good food, good selection. For dinning there is a Large dinning area, dinning booths also available. For a social drink there are couches and the main bar.
N. B.
Had a meal here with my dad. The place has changed and grown - good service, quick and efficient in non-peak service times.
f. f.
Welcomed in by the publican
Great range of beers
Awesome atmosphere
Friendly staff
C. K.
Delicious food and a nice atmosphere restaurant to visit.
I. H.
Nice ambience & even live music. Pity the steaks were overcooked!
S. A.
Amazing food. Super generous sizing. Great vegetarian options. Staff are wonderfully friendly.
C. G.
Great service, excellent meal and awesome range of beers on tap. It should be harder to get a booking in this joint.
m.
The pork belly salad! 10 dollar lunch menu rocks! Awesome drink selection, wonderful friendly staff great service.
L. H.
Great service - they were happy to move us to new seating to accommodate a friend with a bad back. Yummy food and a friendly atmosphere.
A. M.
Good food, lovely atmosphere.
C. F.
Really great service, great atmosphere and music. Food was delish and those thick cut chips are amaze!
F. W.
Great inexpensive place to stay literally in the heart of Hobart CBD. Great atmosphere 4 a bevvie and a bite 2 eat. Swing by and sample a bit of Hobart hospitality....
c. g.
Stayed there a couple of nights, decent accomodation for a brief visit. Pub had a nice selection of tap Beers & decent food!
r. s.
The Swordfish and the fish and chips were good. One craft beer out of 5 regular beer choices. Service was good
F. S.
Totally lovely pub! I stayed upstairs for a couple a days and the rooms are really nice, the staff very friendly and helpful and the pub itself typically aussie. loved it!
B. S.
Live Music Wed-Sat. Decent selection of beers from tap. Friendly waiters. Not too cheap.
s. s.
Great meal friendly may pay to book
C. A.
We ate in the beer garden in the Yard, service was excellent and friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere is super laid back, couches at the back are so comfy and we really liked the addition of big screen tvs
d.
I've had 2 fantastic meals here. Fantastic fast service regardless of how busy it is. Everything tastes fresh and delicious.
J. D.
Was served by the most polite young man, Trevor I believe his name was? Will definitely be coming back!
S. g.
The food was okay, but, there was no fans/air-conditioning in the dining area.. Had our meals and were out very quickly..
S. A.
The Brunswick is always one of my favourite places to go. Delicious food, great environment, quality entertainment and great bar staff!
L. S.

S. J.
Good food, great service. Can get very loud even early in the night.
E. C.
Service is excellent and staff are always wiling to go the next mile. While I only had drinks, the staff were knowledgeable and polite.
S. M.
Nice pub, with great food and good veg options. Enjoyed lunch very much today.
B. M.
Great bar with a decent menu. The yard out the back is pretty relaxed and it's got its own bar and food options there.
A. T.
Stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Bathroom was on the small side but functional. Bar food was decent. Would recommend.
Z. H.
Nice food and generous serving sizes. Had a work christmas function and we had one of the service staff as our contact who did everything we needed.
J. D.
I went to the Brunswick yesterday for lunch and got a parmi. Long story short, best damn parmi I have ever eaten. Next time I am craving a parmi I know where I'm going.
T. W.
Great pub food! Steak was slightly overcooked (asked for medium rare, got medium/medium-well in places) but it was tender and delicious.
A. B.
Great for a nice quiet night out. Awsome food!!! Great easy listing music for the night too.
A. K.
Can be a bit busy and noisy but great venue with good food and beers/drinks
L. B.
We operated a private charity Trivia Night at the venue. Staff were helpful and the facilities fine for a 100 person event. Thanks Brunswick Hotel.
s. b.
Central location, great food at affordable prices. Big group tables in the yard made it easier to socialise with everyone in our group.
M. S.
Fantastic food, schnitty and pint deal was great value too. Would happily eat there again
X. Z.
Nice atmosphere and decent food, not so great prices
D. H.
All you can eat wings for $15 on a Tuesday night. 7 different flavours. Yes please!
J. B.
The parmigiana menu is superb. Love the atmosphere. Can't help but go back time and time again.
E. J.
One of the best parmies I've ever had. Great service and great beer selection!
A. V.
Warm atmosphere, friendly service, good menu
Lunch menu a bit pricey but food was nice.
L. P.
Awesome pub great service was absolutely a great night spent for the Tasmanian band Luca brasi!!!!
J. B.
Good food mostly nice staff but some need better training in customer service
T. L.
Staff are extremely nice and accommodating not to mention hot.
Food is great and beer is cold what more do u need
J.
Nice atmosphere, usually pretty busy after work - popular location for post-work drinks in Hobart CBD
D. C.
Just there as some casual drinks after work. Good prices for tap beer and freindly staff!
S. B.
Lovely music in the afternoon. Great staff. Central bar for afternoon beers.
M. T.
Fireplace in the front bar and good food in the grill out the back. The truffle butter and beer bread is definitely one to try.
A. H.
Nice beers and great food but has a pretty strange way of closing fairly early in a somewhat rude way.
S. C.
Good food great quiz night, slightly pricey but isn't the only pub to do so
R. A. S.
Clean budget option in the centre of hobart. 19 dollars for a dorm bunk. Apparently the restaurant is great but I didn't eat there.
C. R.
Food was pretty good, I found the live music a little loud as it was hard to have a conversation with my friends
K. E.
Pleasant staff, nice cheap wine menu and a toasty little outside lane way seating area for the smokers...
R. E.
Lovely food, great atmosphere
C. D.
Lovely bar, good music, and good service. Unfortunately was too busy to get a table to eat at.
D. C. (.
Food was great, service was good. A kids menu would be nice though.
N. G.
Casual and cool place. I like the food and music(good DJ). Nothing fancy but very good price.
N. T.
The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and happy to cater for dietary requirements.
D. H.
Good food, good service, good atmosphere (original) Food was great, good service. Great atmosphere.
