They set this place up really nice with all the plant life. There is a rooftop area that has nice views and the staircase leading up to it is surrounded with plant life. The outdoor patio on the downstairs area is set up really nicely with TVs playing sports but also more plant life. The food was good and the bartenders were friendly.

Working in the area for five years has meant that despite the fact we are now working from home a lot of my life is now geared around this suburb (hairdresser, acupuncturist, facialist etc) so I continue to spend a bit of time in the area and lucky enough most of my favourite dining haunts are still open. Naturally I stuck with the parma for lunch today (why mess with a winning formula), you can see several photos of different occasions and it’s consistently huge, so definitely good value for money and incredibly filling

A nice terrace, good Sunday place to go for a mate Catch up. The only downside is the food, good but a bit blend, and forget about grabbing a waiter and ask for some salt. They'll say yes and forget!

Great local pub with one of the best roof top spaces and views in the area. It has everything, good pub food, several different spaces, TAB, pokies tucked away and dog friendly rear courtyard. It’s worth the visit and has great atmosphere when it’s busy. Food is good with large portions.

Amazing Staff Amazing venue. We hired the Garden Bar, roof top and topiary for my daughters wedding. Thank you to Jess who done an excellent job of listening and trying to accommodate all our requests and planned the night to a Tee. Big thanks to Melanie and staff for executing the plan on the night. Nothing was too hard and everything ran without a hitch. The staff are a credit to your establishment. They are friendly and so accommodating. We had canape's and feasting platters. There was more than enough food and we were happy with the quality. Well done chefs. Beautiful venue which caters for every need. Thank you Bells Hotel for an awesome night. Highly recommend

I can’t speak highly enough of the Bells Hotel. I had my 21st in the Topiary room & it was absolutely stunning. From the moment I contacted the venue, to the night of my party, the communication was incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with everything. They were efficient on the night, and made sure everything was perfect. I couldn’t fault them. Anything I needed or wanted, was bought to life. I couldn’t ask for a better night. It was one to remember & an experience my guests and I will NEVER forget!!!!! I hope to be back, celebrating at your lovely venue soon❤️

Came here for lunch and had the vegan schnitzel. It was top notch and better than any I'd had elsewhere. Great chips too. I would like to come here again and try their other vegan options, even if they are limited.

We had our wedding at Bells hotel, and wow! All the staff were amazing I had a vision and they planned everything to exactly how I wanted it. They sent me floor plans asked how we wanted it all and they set up the whole venue for us (we hired the whole top floor with the main room). Nothing was an issue and so accommodating. We chose to have a cocktail style wedding and there was so much food which everyone after has told us how good it was. We even had comments from some of our guests that said that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Definitely would be back for any future events, we were just so happy how the night turned out. Thankyou to everyone there that made our day and night possible.

Just a great venue. The staff have clearly worked extremely hard through lockdown to make sure everything is perfect for the restart. A fantastic day and night had by all that attended their recent Cup Day function. If you're looking for a great place to host an event or for a business function, this place should be strongly considered.

One day, we stumbled upon Bell's hotel, and, immediately, its $20.3, 1.75L jugs of Furphy caught our attention. It's been our go to pub ever since. The Beergarden and rooftop are lovely and the food was genuinely delicious. Love this place

We went to Bells today to have a work function. The place wasn't overly busy which was good although it can be at times. Most people had pre-ordered and got their food very quickly, but those who ordered when we arrived still got there food very quickly. A chicken parmigiana was $15 for a large parmigiana and we'll cooked chips and a good sized side salad. The staff kept the table tidy and were all smiling and pleasant. A good place to enjoy.

Came here with my school, paid for a trip and these meals, was very disappointed, spaghetti was watery and lacked flavour, chicken parmie was uncooked, and chips that came with the fish and chips were unsalted and soggy. Meals took ages to come out, and left me feeling unwell afterwards after being extremely hungry before hand. Would not recommend at all! Please do not come here! (Update: Came back, had a chicken wrap and chips, was really good, perhaps they are a hit and miss?? Either way much better service, speed and food, maybe go here.)

Lovely looking place, great outdoor area with Tv's for sport. Standard pub food menu. Sadly. The kitchen closes at 8:45pm. Also, the lighting was set on 'brighter than the sun' so atmosphere was lacking, finished off by the music volume being set too high for the number of people, with poorly selected awful indie grunge and metal playing. (I like indie music, by awful I meant the choice in tracks played!) Better care and attention to detail by management on the setting and clientele, this place could make a mint.

Revisited after 11 months: Improved! Now 4 star instead of 3. A quiet Tuesday for dinner. Had a really good traditional style Parma, tender, moist and a great crunchy crumb and a tasty Tomato and grilled cheese topping. Excellent Chips and a nice little salad accompanying. Only negative, it could have had a little more of the Tomato topping under the cheese. Our group of 10 had steaks, grilled Barramundi, Lamb salad and Bangers. Everything was tasty and fresh with generous serves. A couple of the steaks were not cooked as requested. One was way overdone, one way under. Toilets this time were clean and fresh with everything working. Ambience was OK although the background music was a bit loud making conversation difficult. Original 3 star review: Used to be a regular at Bells 30 years ago when I worked around the corner. It was an elegant stylish pub with great food. First time back in many years and it's a bit of a let down. Food, a Porterhouse was OK, ordered as Medium and was Medium/Well done. Chips and Salad with it were great, although a bit stingy. People who had Parmas said they were also OK, but not great. Service was OK if a bit slow on a quiet Monday for our group of 12 or so. Toilets were a real let down. The men's stank of stsle urine, was fairly grotty and the washroom looked like someone had attacked the walls with a sledgehammer. Either that or the place is under renovation, although I didn't see the customary signs explaining that. All in all I was quite disappointed as Bells used to be a really nice place with great food.

Reasonable size beer garden. but can get hot in the summer. They also have a beer garden up top; unfortunately they were hosting a private function up there on the day we had lunch, so couldn't check it out. Had a few TVs with the cricket on them so we could watch the Aussies smash the Poms. A few James Squire beers on tap which is nice. Food selection is quite good and they don't have any problems splitting the bill.

Wow, what a difference a few months make! Gone from the front bar is the manky carpet and clutter of dining tables. Its now a funky, stripped back, open area that reminds me a lot of some of the bars I visited while in NY. The bar staff were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and the food (I had the curry special) was excellent. The TAB and gaming area was completely separate so it didn't impact me at all but if you like a punt, the TAB is the best I've seen in any pub south of the city. Will definitely be going back.

Wandered into Bells yesterday for lunch, dramatic improvements have been made. Killer steak sandwich. The new owner has refurbed the hotel, smashed down walls and pumped its lungs full of oxygen. Nice to see bells is back on track to reclaim former glory days. Spoke the the guy behind the bar and he said there is going to be a roof top deck and full on function rooms upstairs. Hope its in time for summer.
