We have been to the Brandon a few times now and we have always very happy with the food and drink. We had lunch with friends this afternoon the food and service couldn’t have been better. The young women who was serving us was amazing!! and extremely attentive, the food and drinks where also top notch This place is a hidden gem. Keep up the great work guys and give the lady a pay rise 😬😂 👍

We had a fabulous birthday lunch for my niece last month at the Brandon Hotel. I cannot fault the food or service - it was sensational. Everyone enjoyed their meal and all dietary requirements were gracefully accommodated. So many people told me they had a great time and had eaten the best pub meal they'd had in ages! And well done to the kitchen for getting all the mains out at the same time - not an easy feat given the numbers! Thank you to Jed and the team for a wonderful day.

This is my all time favorite pub. The food is always consistently good. One of the best burgers in Melbourne. Their approach to Covid has been fantastic. They are fastidious and have made great efforts to keep their patrons and staff safe from Covid. Well done thanks for providing such a relaxed but safe environment. See you again soon.

Sports bar in the front and warm, comfortable dining area in the back - complete with comfortable chairs and tables; chesterfield sofas; a cupboard with games for children; and a small outdoor courtyard. The food is excellent, the staff are lovely, and they have live music on Sunday afternoons. All in all, a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or an evening.

A friendly find tucked away in the streets Carlton. The staff were very friendly, the vibe was great and the food we had was tasty. The only complaint would be we ordered oysters and they were very small. Felt like theyn should have been left to grow up a bit more ;)

If my home was a pub, I'd want to live here. It's like a cross between a nice slightly dated pub, and someone's home in the bistro. The crowd here is a real mix of people who help create a really nice vibe - not the young hipster look at me I'm sipping an over priced cocktail with next to no alcohol or the I'm healthy and paid well so I ordered the over priced roasted coles cauliflower for $50. Instead it's good pub food, decent enough beers and wines with a very homely feel inside and out. Highly recommend the parma.

Pub food at its best, a classic menu with a few interesting additions. I had a perfectly cooked and delicious pork chop with homemade apple sauce and coleslaw and my partner had the rockling burger that she raved about. Great stuff guys and thanks for having us!

Fabulous, quiet local with a tasty bistro. Board games in abundance, fireplace in winter, great wines by the glass and Sunday $7 pint day. The Specials Board should always be considered. Love the staff. Our favourite local.

Food delivered quickly and piping hot - the parma and pot deal on a Saturday is incredible quality and value. Look forward to visiting again in person when we are allowed out again!

Was missing pub meals during lockdown and lucked out on the Saturday night parma special for $16. Added some broccolini and molten chocolate cake, which was definitely the right choice. I've celebrated several birthdays and events here and it is a lovely, cosy spot to congregate, with a roaring fire and comfy sofas in addition to your standard seating arrangements. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is consistently good. Larger groups can take longer to get served, so it's a good idea to order separately and tell them that you want the food to come out as it's ready, otherwise they'll wait to serve everyone together and some people will end up with cold (but still good!) food. It's not too loud and is pretty child-friendly too.

Great takeaway in the difficult times! It's fantastic that the Brandon Hotel have morphed their kitchen menu into a takeaway menu. Well done to the team! Tonight we had 2 x beer battered fish and chips - really nice fresh fish, fresh salad and really home made Tartar sauce (with fresh dill in it!!!!). So for a cheer-up in difficult times, order in and imagine you're in the Brandon's cosy dining room. PS: And 12 months later in Sept 2021, in another lockdown, the Fish and Chips are just as good! Love Love Love the Pumpkin gnocchi!!! WOW! Beautiful! Perfect size...next time I won't be sharing it and ordering another meal...it's plenty and was such a shame to waste any of the yummy Spanish sausages with mash I ordered for my own main! Had a put outside and can even play darts! Love the place...such great energy and very zen like (clean) with friendly staff. Highly recommend!

I like this pub , the staff are great. I have had nice meals here. Unfortunately the other night not so good the cassoulet boring , meat dry and tasteless. I would still go back for another meal. My friend had the cassoulet as well and didn't enjoy it. My husband had a parmigiana and enjoyed it. My brother had the Asian chicken with rice and a bròth. He said that was delicious.

This is a great place for meeting up with friends for a pint or dinner. The Brandon has a fireplace and a selection of games that sit behind the bar. The kitchen turns out consistently great food and the specials board is well worth a look.
