Good simple food for a late lunch on a Sunday. Trio of dips needs more bread. Expensive cocktails , $25 for a spritz Service is great and friendly Great location Lots of people but not too loud. Solid 4 stars. Good management Needs to double check for vax. Still 4 stars... Dips are better... FYI.. thanks.. beetroot too sweet but add Chili sauce to make it amazing....

One word - DELICIOUS!! Everything we ordered was 10/10, even enjoyed a couple nice drinks while watching the sunset from the beer garden. It was a lovely night and the place had friendly staff, highly recommend.

Fabulous experience! This hotel is part of my local neighbourhood, but in 21 years of living here, I've never eaten here. The food was wonderful - tasty and fresh. Serves were reasonable, and the prices were good. The view of the bay is spectacular, and it was lovely to be able to show that off to my Tasmanian friends! The waiters were more than helpful, even taking some photos for us and preparing some Martinis in a special way! 5 stars all round, and I'll definitely be back soon!

It was a random find when going to a late beach session with the family, but I'm so glad we found it. Customer service when we entered until we left was amazing. The staff are so friendly and accommodated us immediately without a booking. Food was outstanding for both adults and kids. I have never seen my kids clear their plates or as fast as they did. Portions were just perfect, leaving you full but not bloated. Amazing views of Brighton Beach and would highly recommend if you're in the area. They have a beer garden and inside eating area. Kids' menu was great, and their portions were just enough to fit also a serve of ice cream as well on a summer night. I can't wait to go again and thanks to staff for being so amazing!

What an incredible place! Came here Sunday with my family of 7 and couldn’t be more impressed. From the greeting and service at the front door from a young waiter to the cashier on the way out we enjoyed the whole experience. We ordered a range of dishes and drinks even some cocktails and yes the food did take around 30 minutes to arrive to our table but it was all presented amazingly and made us all say wow. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through. You can tell the staff here really care about what they do and want to pass that on to their customers. Bonus points for the amazing views and presentation of the place. Such a vibe

I had the lamb salad which was nicely cooked with a tasty salad. My friend had a fillet steak, which was fine, but the veg were boiled and boring standard English 3 veg, ala 1970's. Nice wines by the glass. Price very reasonable.

Booked a 40th upstairs for the afternoon, great views, really spacious and the staff were fantastic through the day. We booked a selection of cocktail food and was really happy with the quality and the service. Was a little worried it was too big for our size group but the setup worked well, gave everyone a lot of space. We had our Engagement Party in the beer garden at the Brighton Beach Hotel recently and I couldn't be happier with how it went! The venue was set up perfectly and looked amazing! Highly recommend Brighton Beach Hotel after an excellent work function held there Friday night. Had a quinoa salad and was very disappointed what is written on the menu is not what you would expect. It was dry little roasted vegetables and hardly any dressing. Spoke to the waiters and they explained how the salad is but didn’t offer more vegetables or anything as I paid eighteen dollars you would except more. 😞

This place has a lot going for it. Ocean view dining with super friendly and helpful staff, two bars and and beautiful beer garden with ocean view on the outside and covered. Good selection of beers on the tap. The food is pretty good and the place is great for families and large groups to dine. No kids play area means you should entertain your kids. A senior menu as well as pokies in the back adds to what this fantastically located Brighton place has to offer not to forget the function area upstairs. Cheers!

Came here few days go for a quick lunch. Great selections for the menu. We were not that hungry and decided to order the calamari and arancini. The service was pretty slow. Only one guy behind the bar who would look after the order from people who were sitting outside and inside. The food was ok. Beautiful view facing the beach. At least the food came pretty quick :)

Accolade Wine recently held our 2 day Sales Meeting at Brighton Beach Hotel. Lee was a pleasure to work with and made the organisation of our meeting effortless. The room and equipment in the meeting room was all set up prior to our arrival. Food in the bistro was great too. Would highly recommend this venue for similar functions.

For our wedding, we've checked nearly all of the function rooms around brighton, but this was the best! 50guests were even more affordable than other 'popular' venues. The view was unmatcheable as well. Other venues only shows u a port, or the road, and charge 3x as much! Food was also great! Steak, canapes, drinks, table and chair settings were also included! And Specially Michelle, she was very helpful, flexible, friendly and attended our every need! Its juts everything we needed! That the view was just unmatcheable compare to the rest!

The Baha'i Community of Bayside hosted a function regarding the Advancing the Role of Women in Society on 21 November for almost 50 friends and guests. We were delighted by the professionalism and interactions of the staff, high quality of all the meals and the sweeping views of the bay. Sunday lunch …. First visit to BBH in quite a few years and what a delightful change. The renovations are excellent and have opened up the whole area in arguably the best spot on Beach Rd., Service was timely and very efficient. Meals were of a very high standard and well priced. Very impressed with the wine list, a lot of variation and some top labels. Again the prices are very acceptable. Good to note that the Seniors are looked after with a very generous menu. Highly recommend BBH for a meal , or quite simply , stroll by and enjoy a drink and a snack .

Met with a few friends on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside. Our food was delivered at greatly different times meaning we did not eat together. Where are talking main meals being delivered over about 40 minutes! My steak was a bit overcooked but a reasonable size meal. Drinks reasonably priced.

All was good until 1.00pm on 12/02/21 when Andrew's put us in lockdown. Lee had to cancel the event not by choice. A request for a refund was made and without issue has been facilitated by Lee and management. A big thanks again Lee. We will return when Covid/Andrews permits.

We had great difficulty getting someone to come and take our order, then a couple of the orders were confused. They also forgot to bring our side dishes. We held our school cocktail party in the Bayview Room at the Brighton Beach Hotel last weekend. It was a fantastic venue with gorgeous bay views and plenty of parking. Lee and his team went out of their way to make our event special and it was a really great night. Our guests loved the food and our own private bar made it easy to mingle and enjoy the party.

We had a celebration of my Dad's life in The Bayview Room in March 2021. Function manager, Lee listened to every requirement that we had and made them happen. The room was the perfect size, splendid views, the food delicious, plus Ed and the staff on the day did everything they could to make a day which could have potentially been very sad, a happy one for all of us. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this venue to anyone wanting to host a function. At no point in the day was anyone left standing at a loss wondering where something was, or without food and a drink. Many thanks to everyone at the Brighton Beach Hotel. Stunning location, great venue. Such potential however food is terrible. Everything tasted as though it came out of a frozen food packet. No main vegetarian options. How in this day and age are venues still not accommodating vegetation’s. It seems the focus of this venue is still on pokies revenue. Really - so much more could be done to turn this pub into a Brighton destination. Unfortunately no changes have been made to improve food quality since they rebranded. I’m giving 3 stars as venue location is great, it was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food unfortunately was a big miss. Please make some changes before you lose all your local and future clientele. We will not be returning.

Over the years my family have enjoyed many significant birthdays, anniversaries and receptions at the Brighton Beach Hotel. Last Friday we held my Mums wake at the old Milano’s and are pleased to report that the venue is still an iconic gem. The Bayview Room has recently been extensively refurbished and looks a treat. The room upstairs offer magnificent views of the bay and the brilliant sunset that we all witnessed provided the perfect end to the day. Finally, a big thank you to Lee, Lynda, Flaura and the rest of the team for the great job they did in looking after us on the day.

Overall experience is alright if you're not coming for the food. Booking 10 seats on a Sunday just a few days prior easily accommodated. The location is also quite nice with beach water views just across the road. The environment was also relaxed and no one was eager to push us out. The food prices are average however some of the portion sizes are quite small. with only 2 out of 9 of us satisfied with the portion size, the quality is also average. You're entitled to a serve of bread however unless you ask for it you likely won't receive it.

Food was OK and view is nice. It wasn't really the type of dining I expected though. It says bookings required and to notify them if children are attending. So I was expecting a calm and civilised dining environment. I didnt expect the restaurant to be so loud it was hard to have a discussion with my family at our table of 4. Even the waiter couldn't communicate with us without shouting, and as a result he misheard our order and delivered the wrong drink. I believe the cause of the noise is the 20-seat tables of people shouting, and nearby bar of well lubricated patrons. The atmosphere was like a Saturday night pub.

The place was really nice and fancy. I went there for my friend's birthday party. It is near Brighton Beach so you get a nice view of the beach and you get to see the sunset too. If you drive there along the beach road, you get a nice relaxing view while driving. The food is also great, delicious and you simply want more. A good place to hold events for sure.

We ordered a Parma, soup of the day And the mac and cheese croquettes. The Parma and croquettes arrived but the soup didn't. We mentioned it to the waiter who quickly enquired and came back to say that it was on its way. Finished the croquettes and the Parma and still no soup. When we managed to wave one of the waitresses we mentioned that the soup was not served and we no longer wanted it. She was most apologetic and offered us a dessert to which we declined. We sat in the corner they placed us in and we were complete forgotten about. We decided not to have a coffee because they didn't come our way not even to clear our plates. Therefore instead of waiting to ask for the bill we got up and went straight to the cashier. I mentioned to the young lady about the soup And the fact that we were completely neglected not to mention the poor service provided. The young lady was very apologetic and didn't charge us for our meal. We weren't expecting that. But we were very appreciative of the gesture. Unfortunately I don't think I will be back. I was disappointed because the friend that was with me was from Spain and I had told him How nice the food was.

Convenience on Christmas Day. Lots of choice and staff were excellent. Two things, NO roast potatoes, how ridiculous on Xmas day. Turkey was from a roll not real. I had my son's 21st birthday here on the weekend in the beer garden, you know the wet and wild weekend. I was stressing about everyone getting wet and cold. Then along came the Knight in Shining armour, Lee, with his staff and rescued us. It was exactly like a fairy tale. Lee treated me like a Princess from the first phone call and eased my mind he patiently waited until we got organised enough to give final numbers and on the day, The food was amazing and plentiful. Catherine organised a corner of the bistro for us just in case the rain came. It was warm under the heaters, blankets if it got cold. We had the most amazing beautiful night. 80 people thoroughly enjoyed themselves. From the minute you walk in the staff happily greet you and nothing, absolutely nothing, was too hard for them to assist with. I honestly believe they genuinely cared that our celebration was a success and ensured that it was. If you are looking for a venue to hold any celebration, wedding, birthday, anything then Brighton Beach Hotel along with Lee and his beautiful staff is the place for you.
