Comments of European Bier Cafe
D. M.
The Chicken Burger is one of the best I've had. Tender, crispy, flavoursome chicken fillet with fresh slaw and the perfect amount of burger sauce. The thick, juicy pickles were the 'cherry on top'! The beer-battered fat chips were more than a mere accompaniment – they were a highlight: crispy, thick, rustic, delicious.
My friend ordered the Fried Chicken Salad, but it wasn't presented as pictured in the Mr Yum menu, and was drenched in dressing. However, the staff were very kind and resolved the matter satisfactorily.
The rooftop bartender/waiter was very kind l, and the manager was upbeat and welcoming. The rooftop bar is open and airy, yet not too weather-prone – a lovely atmosphere.
I live across the road, so am glad to have found a reliable local staple!
K. S.
Had booked to see the Basement comedy shows hosted here on Fridays and Saturdays. Decided to stop in early for dinner. A decent range of gluten free options and some pretty hearty standard pub meals. The service was fast and very friendly. The comedy show was brilliant also!
J. M.
We had a great Team lunch here today. Easy online booking, set up a tab on the phone so ordering food and drinks was easy. Pub classics done well and generous portions. Good vegetarian options. My steak was perfectly cooked. A variety of beers too. I think one of the best pub options in the CBD.
H. S.
Great food, drink options and staff. Had such a lovely experience on the rooftop bar with friends. It was a create space to get together and share a drink. I didn't get the bartenders name (Sunday night, rooftop bar, asian looking fella), but he was so friendly and courteous. A massive shout out to the staff and the food was so amazing too. Will always go here when in the area.

This is the first time I've been here, and decided to eat here inbetween theatre performances at the Princess Theatre. I have to say I was really impressed with how this venue operates! You order & pay at the table with a QR code which made thongs very easy and we didn't feel rushed at all. The service was quick & very friendly! I highly recommend this bar and it's now on my list of favourite places 😃🤩
J.
Great customer service and very nice atmosphere. Plenty of options - food and alcohol wise. I've been here many times (not much in the last 2 years!) but we had a wonderful time. Thank you. 😊
K. C.
The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We had the porterhouse steak and the fish and chips and both meals were delicious.
Definitely be back!
M. R.
Lovely food, great service excellent friendships
G. M.
We had our staff night here on 08/12 , the staff are amazing at what the do and very accommodating to not just our team but everyone there that night.
Emmy, Anna, Charlie and Marcel gave us the best experienced and truly made our night.
Thanks team !!

Great pub in the middle of Melbourne CBD. A good range of european beers on hand and food is decent pub style. It has three levels so something for everyone depending on your event and the weather. We were on the rooftop which is good for a less claustrophobic atmosphere. Of note was the bouncers at the door that were so friendly, no threatening large people here, they seemed to want to help. The only issue, was we were moved on from our table after 2 hours even though no one sat there for the rest of the night.
D. O.
Venue is ok, seems they need a bit of updating, or even try to get rid of the "will I get stabbed" vibe.
Once seated though, the food was great. Chicken Parma up to scratch, Barramundi cooked perfectly. Fried chicken and arancini balls were delicious. Will be back!
P. &. M. D.
The manager Hanou was fantastic. Helped us access and use the Entertainment Book discount.
The meals were traditional pub fare with good choices, even for the child in the group. Master age 7 gave the chips the “thumbs up”!
Friendly knowledgeable service. Will be back! Thank you Hanou for excellent customer service.
A. G.
Great service and friendly staff. Don't bother with the food, steak was extremely turf and the venue is extremely noisy (not music, just people talking).
A. A.
Place is good for a chilled afternoon to have a drink n meal..Meal prizes average it's what would expect not over priced..Only thing like to mention meat/chicken in meals finished early. We sat from 1230 sitting to after 1:15/130 all went..I go back..
Y. P.
Great food and atmosphere, decent portions and good selection of beers on tap.
S. F.
Excellent customer service experience. Great food, fish and chips I haven't found anything better yet. I want go back for it so yummy in my tummy.
C. P.
Very polished downstairs area with heaps of tap beers. Really chill upstairs area with balcony views. Staff were super nice and helpful.
L. A.
Always friendly service. Love the enclosed rooftop section with heating. Food is tasty, HUGE portions!! You will leave full and satisfied.
G. S.
Plenty of international beers on tap and love the Happy Hour half price tap beer. Recommend the 250g steak and chicken parma. Another bar upstairs and also a rooftop bar as well, so there is plenty of space. Quick and friendly service, had a good chat to bar staff about the different beers.
G. R.
In a surprisingly quiet CBD Melbourne. So many places closed. The European Bier Cafe was an amazing find! Staff super helpful and a very relaxing atmosphere while adhering to all COVID restrictions. Historically respected interior that I wish I could call my local. Highly recommended for both food and atmosphere. Never ever did I expect a Parma to beat me, let alone in a Restaurant in CBD Melbourne.
The European Bier Cafe has been the only place to serve a Parma that I was unable to finish. It was delicious with obviously pn premises made Napoli sauce, but despite the flavours, I really couldn't finish it ☺
B. P.
Really enjoyed our time here ...Anna was a standout and went out of her way to get us a table upstairs at Aer Bar ...D-Roc was also a standout :)
M. T.
A fairly disappointing range of beers. Most are available at the Belgian Beer cafe, leaving very few unique German, Austrian, Italian or other European brews. The atmosphere is quite nice downstairs, and the balcony is as a millenial would say 'amazing'. Ten bucks for a pot should give you an idea what your mortgage is in for.
w. w.
Loved the place for special lunch and cheap. Ordered medium rare steak for tuesday special with garlic butter and felt that they have changed chefs. Overall it is recommended to try.
S. B.
Aer Bar on the roof is a great space that has awnings making it all weather also undercover roof area with skylights. Really nice bar and the rest of the hotel has areas that are cosy and full of character.
N. g.
Nice rooftop in CBD, good for beer and quick lunch. Large selection of European beers. Calamar salad is tasty. Look for eatclub discount if it's available ;)
E. B.
Nice place, we randomly walked over and saw the sign on the footpath with the deals for different days, beer Hal price is great and they have a good selection of European beers naturally, the pizza itself came down to $10 by be on the Monday deal and it wasn't bad, good amount of topping. Surely a place I would go back with a group of friends.
L. G. S.
Beautiful cozy place with very nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and food was very tasty -we had the beef pie and the chicken burger-. Only giving it four stars as for some reason despite COVID physical distancing recommendations we were seated at the back of the restaurant near four other occupied tables which felt quite cramped and uncomfortable (one of them a party of approx 7). It is a fairly big venue and there was plenty of space as we had an early reservation -5pm on a Sunday evening. They wouldn't let us move as the other tables were reserved despite no one else being seated for the whole time we were there.
J. T.
Lived up to its name ... Bier Cafe ... 8/10 Drinks specialist; beers, good range of wines ... food wise, just okay ... standard pub style food ... quantity over quality 5/10 $30-33.00 steak with chips and salads.
M. L.
We were upstairs for the comedy. Liked the MC on 9th Jan 2020. Great room for events. Good drinks and food selection. Didn't see the rooftop but overall definitely worth a visit even based on our limited experience
d. m.
Went there for a comedy night. Had a great time. Great stand up acts and good people. Thanks
G. C.
Good meal upstairs and stand up's trying their new stuff downstairs.Great cheap night out.
d.
Good comedy rooms. I expected a better selection of beers especially on tap
A. L.
Good food, good drinks, cheap prices, great service! Only real fault I can think of is there was only 1 unisex toilet. All up, highly recommended.
b. s.
Came here for dinner and comedy in the basement on Saturday. Amazing food, huge serves! I love the rooftop, also great service!
D. B.
Great spot with a few different levels.
The food was brilliant, easy to share and delicious.
Lovely staff and great atmosphere 🍺
R. P.
Amazing chips and the area upstairs is lovely, but most of all the staff was 10/10 the whole night!! Created a really warm, welcoming and friendly environment. We were served by Anastasia and Claudia and felt really safe and taken care of, above and beyond !
R. M.
Great rooftop, quick service from the barcode scanner. Friendly staff. We will go again.
M. V.
The beer selection could be significantly improved. If you're claiming to serve European beers, you can't be serving Heineken on tap and mediocre German old school brands. The European craft beer market has evolved!! You can do better :)
D. C.
Excellent choice of beers and lovely staff what more can you ask for?
J. D.
Absolutely loved the ambience and the food here!
Started off with amazing service at entry, with Hanou being super accommodating to our seating needs.
Portion sizes were great, massive parmas and could barely finish the side of fries and salad with the chicken burger (absolutely a must try)
Definitely will be back soon!
T. M.
Good selection of European beer and pretty nice atmosphere
V. H.
We were lucky enough to have a voucher to use hwre. The food and dribks were so exceptional we will be returning here on our next trip with or without a voucher.
A. C.
"where we going for a beer"... we save the hour long discussion and start here, often staying here for some time.....
Great food and prices are too unreasonable. Rooftop is great for day / afternoon / evening drinking.
g. j.
Carl was fantastic, best place to have my birthday, will be back!!!!
H.
Thursday and Friday Comedy Clubs 👌👌 so good i went 2 nights in a row. Big names and top supporting guests. One of the best value shows I've been to.
C. B.
Great friendly atmosphere and fantastic comedy show.
E. P.
Great place. Mondays are made easy with $10 pizzas and all day happy hour.
A. K.
Tried the new Urban Ale on tap. Very easy to drink. Locally made in Melbourne but not a full craft beer taste. Friendly staff also!
D. B.
We had a bit of confusion (our end) with booking, but Ben the manager sorted us out with no fuss at all. Food great, beers nice and fresh, and quick service. Happy days!
S. Y. S.
Staffs are friendly and courteous. Food and drinks are delicious
P. R.
Great place for an after drinks beverage. Staff are helpful and friendly, rooftop is well set up and the table QR Code ordering works well. Food looks tasty, we just grabbed hot chips which hit the spot.
C. B.
Good atmosphere and comedy.
Below average burger with an overpriced stale gluten free burger bun.
Stung an additional $5 for a gluten free bun, which was rock hard on arrival as if it was heated in the microwave and gone stale. Standard beef patty with cheese tomato and lettuce, definitely not worth the $30 price.
J. T.
The European Bier Cafe has a classy ground floor bar and fun environment on the rooftop. You'll be spoilt for choice with an impressive range of variety in beer, wines and spirits including top shelf Scotch and Japanese Whiskey.
T. D.
Haven't been there in a very long time but it was a pleasant surprise. We had a big group upstairs on the Rooftop beer garden, and although the ordering system is very clunky due to covid the service was still great.
M. K.
Great beers and friendly staff but a little on the expensive side
S.
Comedy on Thursday night for ~$12, well worth every cent with multiple international comedians and some excellent local comics. Drink prices are average, there's a lovely glass of red for $9 🍷
S. M.
Considering the dish was titled “mussel linguini”, the chef really failed to let the mussel’s part take on the dish more as per title but don’t worry, we’ll just add more pasta. Mussels are cheap and so is the chef, upstairs is like being stuck in a coal mine, don’t forget to bring a head torch.
T. M.
Awesome place for consistently good comedy, highly recommended.
J. M.
European Bier Cafe is a cosy and conveniently located bar found at the top end of the Melbourne CBD. Ordering food & drinks was quick & easy via QR code from our table while service was friendly & prompt. We had a really enjoyable experience & will be returning again!
G. C.
Cool and classy.. one of Melbourne's finest😎
M. I.
Great pub feed in Melbourne CBD. Good selection of European beers on tap. Meal sizes were great and the food was really well prepared. Highly recommended.
E. K.
Staff were lovely, vegetarian menu is limited.
M. Y.
Good place to socialise, the staff was great and the food was delicious.
S. N.
Awesome comedy venue! Staff are always lovely, great place for a decent meal and to hang out. Good vibes all round.
a. B.
Great beer, food (parma) was average, though If it had been freshly grilled would have improved. Seems abit hot and miss as another table got them with nice malty cheese.
A. T.
great time, emma was great bartender for us, would go back again
A. C.
Thursday night is surprise comedy night, the line up is not announced and you turn up to see what randomness can make you laugh
Being the build up to comedy festive I lucked out with Lamont, Tim little and Peter Helier. That combined with pints of Peroni made for a very good night 😁
C. A.
Was there for a function, which was up on their rooftop terrace. It was a freezing cold evening but thankfully they had it enclosed with cafe blinds and had the heaters on. Only disappointment is that I expected a larger selection of beers on tap. They only had about six, and only one was "European" from what I could tell.
R. B.
Had CFA society drinks night. Lovely place but that day was slightly overcrowded I’m thinking about bringing loud speaker with me next time .
Staff is friendly they pulled off two simultaneous events quite nicely.
A. M.
Booked the basement for a 21st and we were provided with awesome service. The head bar attendant and room manager was great. She enabled our night to be an awesome celebration with friends and family of my daughter’s 21st birthday. One negative was that management had failed to pass booking and information onto staff .. the manager and especially head bar attendant and Waiter managed to rectify and organise what was needed. Forgotten her name ... but she was amazing and the rest of the staff were great also. Top venue, great atmosphere and facilities.
N. B.
Delicious thin crust pizza and amazing ambience... can’t be better..!!
R. H.
Excellent service and a good atmosphere. We watched a comedic performance downstairs and enjoyed a meal upstairs. A good night in the city.
C. H.
You have to get rid of that online ordering service. Food to our group of 10 got muddled, came out at different times, some were cold. Wait staff taking orders is really important.
A. H.
Decent bar, the best thing about it is its location in the city and its size. Perfect for after work drinks, though it draws a pretty big crowd on the weekends too.
S. i. A.
Great food and friendly service. Great place for after work drinks. The beer battered chips are a particular favourite.
D. N.
Nice roof top bar with tap beer, spirits, wine and food. Excellent service too that includes online ordering from the table to maintain COVID safety
K. K.
Fantastic bar and restaurant with an excellent section of beers. Went here for dinner mid week in July 2019, and really enjoyed the experience. Staff were really helpful, and the chicken schnitzel I ordered delicious. It also has a trivia night which was on upstairs when I visited, and sounded very popular. If you like European beer and food, a definite must experience restaurant.
J. Y.
Has a good friendly vibe. Go up to the roof top. It’s a great place for friday drinks with colleagues.
m. p.
Sari is absolutely incredible!! So friendly and nice :))
E. H.
Nice place. Good booze selection. Foods bit expensive but it's the cbd...
D. W.
Nice selection of beers - nice tasty toffee pudding.
H. V.
Great location, good space and assortment of beers. Service was good. Great place to have casual drinks after work.
C. A. R.
Rooftop has a super nice atmosphere, delicious enters, calamari was super fresh, variety of beers. I will come back again!
D. W.
It's in a great spot, lovely venue and the vibe is good. Food very tasty aside from buffalo wings. Not crispy or cooked for long enough. If looking for legit upstate NY flavour this is not the place. Other than that would recommend.
V.
Good spot with different lunch specials everyday of the week... specials are $15...i had the Parma.
A. G.
Great rooftop bar. I was really pleased to find some favourite German beers that are too exotic to find anywhere else
F. J.
Some fond memories here with friends. Great place to chill after work and some nice vibes for most of it. The bouncers are a bit rude though and seem to be full of themselves. Minus this, a great place to be
P. J.
Went there for their Monday pizza and tap beer specials. Pizzas were top notch, if you like traditional style think base pizzas. Great staff too and plenty of atmosphere for a Monday.
J. Y.
Nice location and view. Have water misters for hot days and beer is fairly priced. Food is good for a bar and there is a decent amount of space to hang out. Unfortunately smoking area is very close and smoke can get in if the wind blows the wrong way but its not a huge issue. Selection of beer is solid and they have CC & Dry on tap. What more do you want
l.
A place I wanted to love but more on the good end than the excellent end I was hoping for.
Will go back just to see if the food changes my opinion.
E. L.
Great selection of beers in a vibrant cafe. Gluten free bottled beer available as well as plenty of ciders. The upstairs rooftop is nice and partly sheltered so a good option for a warm, but rainy evening. Happy hour is only available downstairs, but table service is available on the rooftop.
T. A.
Prices were a little high, but the cheeseburger was pretty big considering the cost. Significantly outshone the jerk chicken burger which was petty bland and certainly not worth the price. The salad that came with the Parma looked really tasty. The staff were really good with checking with allergy/intolerance information. Range of beer was pretty good, including happy hour prices on Urban Alley ale and lager.
J. C.
I was impressed by the range of European beers, the speed of service and the quality of the food. The lighting and music volume are about right to suit most people. This would be a good place for anyone wanting a quiet beer or to relax with friends for a couple of hours.
C. H.
It's a bar and a good place for a team lunch, with a reasonable selection of lunch foods. The food is expensive for what you get, though. A bowl of "soup of the day" and a small pot of cider was $19.50 but when it came, it was smaller than expected. Pizza was decent but again was not a lot compared to what you'd get for less up the road. Chips were said to be a bit cold by the person across the table, but very tasty, and good chips are really good. Altogether not far off a good lunch place, and the people were friendly enough to complete the picture. Hopefully this isn't too pointy, just trying to feedback for improvement!
I. H.
We were visiting from Perth and attended for the purpose of the Thursday night comedy show upstairs, whilst there we had dinner beforehand in the bar.
Both my partner and I had great meals, both the risotto and lamb shanks were delicious. Great flavour and hearty portions easily satisfied us both.
Upstairs from the bar was the weekly comedy show, which tickets went on sale 8pm at the door only. With not too many people in attendance, I admit we did not have high hopes...
Approximately 20mins later the place was almost full, the show started and was hosted by an amazing comedian. He was hilarious from start to finish introducing each comedian, as well as a 5min part between each.
We enjoyed 5 comedians including Greg Fleet and Peter Helliar, unbelievable that you can see such amazing talent at a local bar for such an unbelievably low price!
Highly recommended and can't speak highly enough of the night, a must visit when in Melbourne.
S. T.
Lovely rooftop bar area, was quite popular but plenty of sitting room and large bar. Protected from weather and still great views. Bit of work going up a heap of stairs but was a lovely place and recommend a visit. Did not visit the lower level but also seemed quite busy and popular.
D. O.
Eat club 40% discount review :
Honestly very good value, even at full price.
One of the best pizzas in Melbourne and a wide selection of none basic European beer.
Highly recommend!
g. g.
Special $11 per meal during 12 PM to 12:15 PM: the best priced in Melbourne. Good quality and nice deco.
Well one of the crowd-pleasers is $11 steak on Tuesday. During that time, it was always packed and got queues. The new management has changed the price to $17 from Nov 2019. Oh no, nooooooooooooooooooooo.
Many people including me went there on Tuesday for steaks.
Bye bye EU on Tuesday.
J. Z.
It's great again.
There have been changes to the menu and personnel.
The Tuesday lunch steak special is now $17, and Wednesday lunch parma is now $15.
Service is much improved, thus a happy change in my rating.
L. a.
Really sweet staff, amazing deals. Highly recommend. Miss the pizza kitchen. Vegan pizzas was amazing, please bring them back.
T. G.
Beer is great. Lots of great German beers on tap. Rooftop is good and spacious. Food is terrible but some cheap specials . We had microwaved nachos all stuck together with 3 black beans.
L. H.
Rooftop is good. Busy. Happy hour doesn't apply on the rooftop, have to traipse up and down the stairs. Decent amount of stairs to get to the rooftop too. $11 a schooner. $11 a spirit.
The only standout here is the wonderful staff.
N. V.
Bottom level is a sit down area. Great for formal dinners. Middle level was totally dead when we went on a Saturday night. But the top level was great! Great rooftop area, dance floor, DJ, free dollars that you can cash in for drinks if you sign up. Jell-O shots walking around. Great fun!!
C. M.
Great range of european beers on tap, good value especially at happy hour. Good pizzas on the menu and 3 individual seating levels to choose from, of which the rooftop bar is the best. Friday nights and weekends can get busy.
B. H.
Best comedy night in Melbourne that's the only thing I come to this place for but gosh, it NEVER dissapoints!😆
Tbh I'm only there for the $13 Thursday night comedy shows (haven't had the chance to go to the other ones, but I'm sure they're also pretty fantastic based on the talent they consistently get for the Thursday slot!)
In terms of drinks, it's pretty pricey here. Haven't tried any of the meals either. But hey, at least they ALWAYS have great entertainment and that's better than most pubs can say! 😆🙌
W.
Best selection of beers to go with some great food. Up on the roof was nice and would be even better if the vinyl sides could be opened up to let some air in. But smoking laws don't seem to permit that unfortunately. But a good time was had by all.
J. S.
The good: wide range of beer, relaxed and nice atmosphere (apart from it being eerily empty on our level). Standard kind of pubbfood.
The not so good: Service - We visited on a Wednesday night and ate on the balcony level. There were only 3 sets of patrons here yet the staff got our order wrong, my drink order never came out with the meal and they forgot a side order. When I mentioned it to the other staff member he didn't believe me and had to call the girl back from her break and check the transaction to see if I paid for a drink. Turns out I had paid for the drink but not the side order - the girl didn't put that though for done reason. Normally I don't mind human error, but in this instance I felt like I was accused of lying when really I could tell when the girl took my order she wasn't paying attention. I eventually got my drink, by that time I'd finished my meal. No table service on that floor.
Would I go again, and what would I do differently?
Yes, I'd go again, I wouldn't go to the balcony floor during mid week and I might even ask that they repeat my order back to me before paying on any occasion.
M. C.
Monday night half price beers and $10 pizzas is a huge win if you want some quiet afterwork drinks to start your week. Naturally the rooftop bar isnt too busy on a monday and there's split indoor and outdoor spaces. Otherwise you can get decent bat food meals in the restaurant downstairs. Weekends it gets pretty busy with a fairly basic crowd but still a nice spot
A. B.
Decent atmosphere, drinks are as to be expected. Potato wedges were pretty tasty, and the balcony provides a good place to chat with some fresh air, if you don't mind that it's mostly there to satisfy the smokers. Overall not a bad place to stop by for some casual drinks & finger food.
R. C.
Pretty average food. Schnitzel wasnt crispy, pretty bland. I got buffalo wings for $13 and got a 4 wings. Albiet they were cooked really well and had a great buffalo sauce. Chips were very good and gravy was tasty but was a small portion again (gravy, not chips). All of this is fine except there pricing for averageish products is super high amd exorbitant.
R. M.
Amazing staff. Slow service on weekdays.
M. L.
Nice bar with a good range of beers on tap. Can get busy with the after work crowd but there's a few levels so you can usually find a spot. Not much of a night life crowd anymore so great place to stop if you're looking for somewhere quiet in the city after 10pm
J. A.
Located in the city, this venue was a huge plus for our interstate and international guests to access with ease, as well as for the locals being able to park s short distance away or even taxi/uber home after the function. We hired the entire 1st floor which was just perfect as it had a balcony as well as a dance floor.
Linda the Functions Manager was fantastic in helping organise an 'O' birthday party for my husband. Her attention to detail and suggestion of menu options was key in ensuring we kept to our budget whilst providing a wonderful selection of quality food. On the night Sonya (Event Manager for our function) was brilliant as she ensured that all our needs were catered for, our event ran smoothly and any variation to the run sheet was meet with a wonderful smile and can do attitude. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional and helped to make our function a huge success. All our guests commented on the venue, the food and what a fantastic time they had.
P. C.
Pretty average food, pricey drinks, and average service. Staff didn't know about the vip promotion of 2 for 1 cocktails. Then they thought it was for only 1 round, had to argue until they called a manager to confirm. Then i had the Same issue woth each bar staff member. Seriously. Not good enough. Was better years ago.
G.
Popular night spot on Exhibition street. We visited to attend Comedy Cafe and had dinner on the top floor. Food was average - nothing remarkable. The show, on the first floor, was good: very funny.
C.
4 stars only apply on a Monday night when they have half price tap biers, otherwise expensive despite the decent selection of biers. Food is highly average (and overpriced for the quality), and I would only get specials like the $12 pizza and bier. Staff are sometimes friendly, sometimes not (including ignoring you, not smiling, forgetting your group booking several times). Also the food is not really European, nor is the music. However, the layout is good, especially with the multiple floors and rooftop bar. So go on a Monday or when you know there is going to be a special and you will have a very good time.
J. S.
Food is overpriced for what you pay. ie. You can buy better quality Parma’s for less money nearby. Their fish of the day is small and comes with cauliflower that is pretty horrible (pretty much no flavour or seasoning etc). On the other hand their drink selection is ok and their internal space is nice if you’re after that pub sort of feel. The rooftop bar is worth checking out on a good day. Overall if you’re going to eat think twice. If you’re going to hang out with mates and have a drink then they’ve got you covered. Comedy nights also run once a week and have some great talent cycling through.
L. H.
Good pub food, calamari was delicious. Service was superb, being a Friday night it was after work drinks for the 9 to 5ers. Service was good, place was full but we still got looked after by the bar tender who organised a table for us quickly.
M. P.
Good place for a drink or two with colleagues after work. No happy hour on roof top though. You'll have to buy your drinks from the bar downstairs if you want the Happy Hour discounts and bring it up your self.

Eur a been missin out!
N. L.
Great venue. Great sound.
G.
Popular night spot on Exhibition street. We visited to attend Comedy Cafe and had dinner on the top floor. Food was average - nothing remarkable. The show, on the first floor, was good: very funny.
E. E.
Welcoming, clean and great staff
L. H.
Rooftop is good. Busy. Happy hour doesn't apply on the rooftop, have to traipse up and down the stairs. Decent amount of stairs to get to the rooftop too. $11 a schooner. $11 a spirit. …
J. E.
One of my locals....the calamari was fantastic!!
A. I.
Very nice place to visit
S. M.
Super friendly and nice staff
G. D.
I visited here for a function held in the downstairs room. It was primarily a speaking function and this is not a good space for speeches and so on. It's too echoey and even though the venue provided mikes and amps, it was still difficult to hear people at times. We also ate there. The food was good, if nothing special. The bar staff were friendly and helpful.
K. R.
Service mediocre but smaller venue has better comedy than Comics Lounge. Food average and good enough for pub food. If it wasn't for the comedy i would not patronize.
A. P.
Beer is great, and staff is nice. Went for the Thursday Comedy club - really good cast with a very affordable price. Fantastic experience.
S. S.
Had a great atmosphere, food was great and wine very good prices. Deducted 1 star because the music while we were eating and having drinks early was far too loud and most people want to catch up and chat and it was impossible wirhout shouting.
P. B.
Saturday night comedy was absolutely brilliant. Great value, brilliant atmosphere, fantastic line up. Will definitely be returning for another round. Hosted by Ivan Aristeguieta who was one of the best comedians there. Great host 😁 Great night 👍🏼
J. C.
Cosy atmosphere, came for a thursday comedy night, great night out definitely worth every minute. Great upstairs bar,
Didnt try food but the $5 pots of budvar were great .
N. S.
Good food and drinks. Not an overly intimate environment - very large open spaces so they can fit people in for after work drinks. Prices are higher than other places toys unless you buy the specials
O. S.
Very good place when you want to watch a sports event but other places are too crowded. This bar has 3 levels so never gets too busy.
The food is not really good but I don't expect anything sophisticated from a bar. Plus, $15 chicken parma on Wednesdays.
Also every Wednesday they organise a language exchange event where people from different countries can practise foreign languages. Quite entertaining.
E. O.
Good venue. Has a nice top floor with a dance floor. However we went on a Friday night and the music wasn't good and there weren't many people. Would be good to book for events/ parties
J. M.
Really nice rooftop and great selection of beers. Staff were very friendly and welcoming but a bit expensive and the food was not great for what it was. Good for large groups just wanting to relax and watch some sport or banter.
C. M.
Awesome pub meals, fast and friendly service.
W. W.
The rooftop bar is open and airy, the staff are nice, and they have a decent range of spirits.
C. G.
Lots of beer selections, excellent venue with plenty of seating and deals on certain nights. They can be a bit varied with drink size and where you're allowed to order certain drinks which is odd, but otherwise it's good.
M. C.
This Exhibition St Bar that has 3 levels has a great vibe but the top level does get busy quick as the view is awesome from there.
Downstairs has that Old English pub vibe that is so popular with the city after work goers and the younger 20-40 year old age group.
Staff are nice and there are always cocktail specials up top, and great for a red wine on a old day and mojitos in the summertime.
L. F.
Fantastic bar! Every Wednesday night they promote "Mundo Lingo", an event where oversea students meet for socialize and share languages. Event free! But of course you have to pay your own beer.
Sometimes the event is too crowded and you can't move.
T. J.
We watched the Socceroos play Denmark here and it was great. Not too busy, and good quick service at the bar. The only problems were that it was a bit chilly without the heater on and then too hot once it was turned on!
S.
Nearby this one so we went in there in a Cold Saturday evening and decided to take on some different beer's in their happy Hour time (5-7pm) which turned out not too bad.
Started with their Belgium Leffe Blonde (13.5$) and German Wheat (10$) big glasses ones on tap which were the best of lot.
Then second round had two small glasses of Czech Beer Budvar (5$) and Hop Hog (7.5$) and both of them were absolutely different in taste and very crispy too.
Third round was American Pale Ale (5$) and another German one Weissman one (5$) which I didn't like the American one coz it had a strong bitter aftertaste unless you are a hard-core fan.
Fourth round, to sober up was Canadian Club (5$) and probably another German beer on tap (5$) which was pretty good.
Overall the place has got awwsome Vibe where you can chill with your mate's and staff is friendly too.
I gave 4 🌟 for the reason that some of the glasses were chipped which is surprising for a place like that to use this glassware, hope management of the pub should pay more attention to that. (See pic for reference)
C.
34 dollars for one lamb shank is pricey. Usual serving is 2 unless they are big. This shank looked like it was just born. The service was excellent. Friendly and helpful. Perhaps the specials are better value
N. P.
Great food, sweet pumpkin wedges, and beer at reasonable prices. Staff friendly, no attitude, was in basement for comedy. Only thing, bit of a strange smell emanating from somewhere?
J. N.
Wonderful rooftop bar, great food, great venue. We will be back for sure.
L. L. J.
Good beer selection. Food is decent pub style and averagely priced. Lacks atmosphere playing clubbing tracka and showing skate videos on screen doesn't ooze european to me its a shame. Decent place to start a guys night not a place to take a date.
D. W.
Good food, really large place so can usually get a table for food or after work drinks. Nice a quick service. Food is a little pricey unless you get the special of the day. Good for watching the sports on the many TVs all around the place.
Y. L.
It’s very delicious 😋
M. W.
Came here for a comedy show. Enjoyed some wine and food before and after. Both very enjoyable, was having such a great time we caught another show and stayed for more wine afterwards. Lovely staff and venue.
E. H.
I had an amazing stay at the European Bier Cafe! The variety of drinks, the kindness of the waitress and the whole atmosphere was great. Can't wait to go there again :)
Five stars!
R. N.
Decent sized place. Was very quiet when I went on a Sunday, but if it gets busy in the week it would be really good. Being quiet just meant quick service at the bar, so can't complain.
M. T. C.
The European Bier Cafe rises above a two-star rating solely because it's an OK spot for a half-price drink during Monday happy hour. I wish I could love it, and I've tried, but I just can't.
It does have a decent range of beers on tap, and everyday prices are OK by contemporary Melbourne standards. Can't comment on the food, but it seems popular.
Customer service runs hot and cold. Some bar staff are engaging . . . others, well, I'll admit it, I'd be bored if I had to serve drinks all night. Most importantly, it's got that managed-by-professionals vibe that always gives me the sense of being Just Another Passing Visitor rather than a valued guest. You can easily imagine some BBus type in a back room counting the toothpicks to make sure no one's been taking an extra one.
I doubt you'd ever see one of the owners behind the bar.
The venue is -- how do I put it? -- confused. The only European thing about the place is the beer roster. The downstairs tries for the sort of Old School wood-panelled feel that's comfortable for middle-aged businessmen with modest expense accounts. The rooftop bar is set up for party girls and the kind of people who are attracted to party girls (IYKWIMAITTYD). Quite a jarring contrast. The music throughout the building tends toward an anonymous but intrusive dance vibe, bizarrely out of keeping with the downstairs bar, and yet not enough doof doof doof for the party girl crowd. Maybe that comes on later after us squares have left?
In sum, the place strikes me as suffering from a sort of public house schizophrenia which lends to a strange disconnect with the clientele (or at least the after-work and dinner crowd -- Saturday nights could be a totally different gig).
It must be working out for the owners, but I don't see it ever becoming anyone's local. Then again, why not stop in on a Monday after 5.00 pm and decide for yourself? It's not terrible, it just falls way short of what (in my opinion) makes for a great bier cafe.
Pro tip: so far as I can tell, in Australia a pint is 570 ml, but the German beer glasses (nice!) being sold here as pints are actually 500 ml, which doesn't matter at half price but makes me rather narky at full price.
E. R.
Met wife here for pre show dinner. Beer was cold and plentiful however server was cold and absent and the food, while tasty, was sorely lacking for a place called the european bier cafe. Pizza and nachos? Where is the pork knuckle, schnitzels or sausages? Rooftop bar was a nice area but smokers on the balcony soon had the restaurant stinking of smoke.
D. U.
Nice enough pub, but very overrated and overpriced. The European beers they have aren't the greatest but because most are unknown or not known how regular they are, people except the higher prices. This places reminds me of an Aussie pub in Europe where you pay over the top for a VB and some Australiana theme.
Not bad, just don't be fooled by the facade.
A. M. W. R.
Nice beers but having to sign up to an app to order is annoying. If you don't sign up for the app, you have to pay a surcharge at the bar
B. A.
I only go there when events are arranged in here, never thought of it as a place to go to when I am planning something. but even though I have never been disappointed. price for lunch is good and the portions are decent.
Z. D.
Really tasty burger and awesome chips. More filling than assumed on first sight. Doesn't look like good value but definitely feels like it once done. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
M. S.
We were here for dinner on a monday night, food is decent. Penne pasta was yummy, on monday after 8PM you have happy hour rates on drinks. After 10PM place got crowded as if it was weekends :)
M.
This place does an awesome burger!
R. C.
For a place that is called "European Beir" you would think they would have a varied amount of European beers.. not just the basic commercial Euro beers, There is such a wide and varied amount of styles to choose from, but this place does the most bland of them all..
Other that that major gripe, the venue is pleasant enough, nice old school pub feel.
S.
Great place, went there Monday night half price pints 😊
N. C.
One of my fav pubs in all of Melbourne, good food, good beer and great locale; even has a rooftop bar – what more do you need?
A. T.
Nice place to enjoy your evening. Friendly staff, quick service and nice beers, what else you need?
S. H.
Great Belgian beer selection, plus a good show from Dave O'Neill in the basement!
S. C.
Solid meals of decent size, but the place gets filled really quickly during lunch hour, especially for a small venue. Staff were polite but the food did take 20-30 minute to come out
C. F.
The rooftop bar is really nice. We were up there on a hot afternoon and with the misters on in was great. Loses a star for a disappointing beer and cider selection.
A. A.
I always have a nice time here. I went for the basement comedy nights which are awesome. Food is pretty decent. Not lots for vegetarians or vegans though. Standard pub feels.
X. S.
Great location and atmosphere, order via qr code at table is fantastic
T. M.
When viewing a comedy event in the basement I feel like the staff could do a bit more planning to make it more comfortable for punters... Everyone is squished in there, too afraid to move otherwise they might knock someone's drink.
A. G.
Drinks good. Meals sometimes touch and go depending on how busy they are. Last visit it was very busy got pizza it was very darkly cooked and wasn't enjoyable to eat.
L. G.
Love the space and how they have used it.
Good clean food and service.
C. S.
I love the way this place is set out with different levels for different uses. The rooftop bar is a great spot in all weather and the selection of beers is impressive. I liked the atmosphere!
M. M.
I so love the roof top.
Just the perfect spot for Friday drinks with colleagues.
Food is a little pricey though, unless you get the special of the day.
B. K.
Nice cozy place in the city with a great vibe Great place for post work drinks
J. G.
I hadn't been here in a while, the beer selection is more limited than it once was but they still have the beast that I remember. Gets a little more rambunctious later at night with a DJ and live band. Otherwise a good place to go for a drink.
x. v.
Big range of European big brand beers at a premium price in the city
Good for groups and functions but no crafty, discovery type of beers or even some featured products...
S. W.
Always a good time. 3 different levels including a terrific rooftop bar which is good all year round. Some great specials on food and drinks as well.
L. B.
No access for disabled to the rooftop bar. Meal was well priced, typical pub fare. Drink prices average for the city.
A. H. (.
Had dinner here last night, they have a great beer selection, absolutely loved the estaminet pilsner and the ravioli was delicious.
I will definitely return.
J. H.
Good beers, good venue, good comedy. Saw Free To A Good Home for comedy festival.
A. W.
Nice place for a quiet drink or some pub food, went there for a Comedy night upstairs and it was a great time. Lovely atmosphere however the atm didn't work and the drinks were quite expensive.
P. E. S. P.
Great bar - always buzzing on a Friday night. But buy your beers downstairs as they are cheaper and then take them up to the top floor ! However this does get more and more challenging after a few !!!!
A. C.
Seemed like a nice spot, but the prices seemed a bit high, and at 9pm on a Sunday night I at least expected to not be the only person in the pub. Might be good with a few mates to share a drink with, but not so much a solo spot.
D. K.
Stopped by to this favorite spot for a bite to eat after the movies and it didnt disappoint. Good pizzas and a drink after the movie in an atmosphere where I could have a conversation without yelling. Excellent
H. H. (.
Pizza and wedges were great! The atmosphere is very cozy and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking at having a nice relaxing time.
a. g.
No happy hours on roof top.. But the place was nice. Use their qr code to order, you will get some discount.
S. M.
Amazing ambience with fantastic pizza..reasonable prices for a good night out with mates.. excellent quality of food and beverage.will definitely recommend to friends and family.
D. M.
Great food and choice of amazing European beer. Fantastic staff. Good place to watch the footy and hang with friends.
j. b.
I met my love here and we go back regularly for the awesome comedy night's that are so cheaply priced with excellent reknown comedians and great cocktails.
D. E.
Not a bad place for a drink. Maybe it should tone the music down and make itself a cool bar. The beer is there all they need is a better vibe.
P. B.
One of the best ranges of beer on tap I've seen.
J. L.
Decent food and quick and prompt service. Very happy and will be returning. Lunch specials are good value and worth checking out.
D. M.
Great food. Great drinks. Great vibe.
Footy was playing, music was chill and the heaters kept it warm when it was 5 degrees outside. Definately returning with more mates
s. c.
Your typical friday or Saturday night fun times! Would recommend if you wanna meet friends, get drunk at a cheap price and dance the night away. That place accepts everyone!
L. (.
Amazing drinks, really good bar staff, super friendly atmosphere. Prices are really decent, chips are 10/10.
g. y.
Great Ambience, friendly staff, impeccable service, variety of drinks plus amazing beer- holes. I just love their beers.
M. M.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice multilevel place. Go for the rooftop, it's nice and open with heaters. Food was okay, the chicken parma was a good choice!
A. B.
Good place for pizzas and beer!
Got an exceptional deal which made the place feel even better. Courteous staff. Good place.
H. B. (.
Amazing range of tap beer, decent food. Half price taps on Monday night which is amazing value for money on premium euro beers such as leffe
B. W.
Good service. Happy hour is great. Fish and chips was good, could be a bit less breading and more fish but the service makes up for it.
M. F.
Multiple story's and the name does compliment the vibe if your just going for a dinner or a night out with the Scooby gang. For pub food it's definitely not dissapointing. plus it's one of the few places I know of you can get a big ol hoegarden brew. Rooftop is approachable a smidge understaffed so prepare to wait in line for those cocktails you regrettably spent too much for. A mixed demographic if you are young be prepare to swat away a few sleezy older men.
J. L.
Half price schooners on all tap beer and cider on Monday nights. Very warm on the rooftop with heaters on. Cosy downstairs
E. D.
Absolutely excellent food, friendly service, and a good selection of European beers and other drinks. We'll be back next time we're in Melbourne!
J. M.
I found this place very good food and hospitality was outstanding.. only little bit over priced it still worth visit and will one here again when visiting
N. S.
A few new beers on tap since last visit, good to see a bit of rotation happening.
A little pricey but it's to be expected in the CBD.
E. Y.
Those who say the staff are not friendly are to be honest i think wrong. They go the extra mile, are courteous and efficient. Lovely beer good service.
A. T.
Parma special for lunch. Absolutely fantastic. Huge size and really fresh. Great service and everyone super friendly. Defo a go to place for an easy work lunch.
J. R.
best night out last night with my dtrs to see randy and others... just brilliant! :)
T. C.
Good value for lunch with the $20 deal
N. G.
Good food and lots of drink options. The Saturday night comedy shows in the basement are fantastic. Dinner and a comedy show = great night out.
D. B.
We stopped here for pre-show drinks where we also enjoyed tapas to share. We found the basement area is quieter for conversation than upstairs.
F. S.
You can get a free membership, and a free beer with it, but you will have to wait to get the email with the voucher. And if you go between 12:00 and 12:15 you can buy meals for $11 (just with the membership) which is very cheap.
J. S.
Whoa Nelly! What a steak! Top it off with a few beers and some talented comedians on a Thursday night and there's not much to be left wanting.
T. V. G.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. We were heading to a show and got our meals in plenty of time.
T. K.
Comedy night was so much fun and the perfect thing to do on a Thursday night! the drinks on offer came with a wide variety with reasonable pricing
S. N.
Great pub. Nice and cosy. Nice staff.
J. W.
Place is good for beers with mates.
The first level balcony is the place to be on a Friday and Saturday night. Or any other night for that matter.
M. A.
Pretty good Rooftop to hang out during summer, great beer selection, friendly staff and good weekly specials. Beers can get exy when it is not happy hour
D. K.
Great roof top space, warm and cosy during winter too
V. K.
Busy pub over 3 levels, cheap happy hour drinks, however beware that happy hour prices are only available on the ground floor, so if you don't want to be ripped off you need to keep shlepping up and down 3 flights of stairs
F. E.
Good ambiance on the rooftop where we were. Food and drinks were expensive but then again we're in the middle of the CBD so it's above par with other similar services around.
L. s.
Food and atmosphere were really good. Drinks not bad depending on your tastes.
L. C.
Great place for a drink while the special offers are on. Has an upstairs balcony area for smokers also. Food was alright but nothing special.
A. M.
No bad
R. J.
nice 'pub' with an OK happy hour staff nice and friendly but the 'happy hour' steak did not look great to me so we gave it a miss
A. L.
Great selection of European beers, good food and friendly service. Love the outdoor rooftop space.
B. Ł.
Fantastic place. Bier is just amazing, so many options than you can order and try
C. S.
Great vibe, beers, and staff. It was a great venue for our group of mates to catch up on a Saturday afternoon.
C. S.
Great range of international beers in a clean and classy setting. The basement is a perfect place to see a podcast as well!
J. F.
3 different levels, for 3 very different experiences. After having a few drinks on the top level, I had a great time here with friends jist being able to relax and chat.
A. U.
Rooftop has a great view. Middle Bar has live music Friday night's. Some better than others.
S. G.

G. V.
Went for the mundo lingo evening and had a selection of quite nice German beers for $7 a pint. Friendly atmosphere :)
J. S.
Beer is good. Food is anything deep-fried.
T. A.
My go to pub in Melbourne. Good beer. Good food. Sport on the TV and comedy downstairs.
M. R.
Fabulous roof top bar. Digital ordering. All the staff were smiling.
J. D.
Came here for a function, the drink prices seemed very expensive, even for the non-imported standard choices. Otherwise the venue seemed alright, filling up with a decent crowd on a Friday night.
J. F.
Great place. Visited twice in 3 days for the comedy show. Great line up very funny. Great beer, very clean amenities.
R. X.
Regular for the Thursday comedy club, always heaps of laughs. Beers are cheap roof top is nice
N. M.
Awesome pub, great menu and specials. Good selection of beers and warm friendly service
E. W.
Friendly staff, service is great. The food I've ordered has been tasty and delicious. Good for groups.
C. A. M.
Love your European beer. In fact, love your Belgium beer, then Captain Atom Man says that this place is definitely a goer.
V. W.
Awesome beer selection and decent food offerings, good location, great place to grab a beer with friends after work
G. P.
Great comedy venue. Karl Chandler and long list of Australia's best comedians perform regularly.
P. V.
Small range of beers considering it's Melbourne. Incredibly noisy, more so than most other bars.
G. S.
Great selection of beers. Good food easy to get to via public transport. Very short walk from parliament station.
O. F.
Nice pub to try out different varieties of beers and cocktails
J. D. N.
Pros: Great Beer and food. The roof top area is very chill and relaxing.
Cons: Stairs are a pain in the ass.
F. B.
Great atmosphere, staff are terrific, meal was good, price was very good. Will be back again.
Z. J.
Loud half decent music, decent cider, not overly crowded on the night I went. It's as you would expect any casual club to be.
C. G.
Great place to go on a Wednesday evening. they have the "Mundolingo" event, where you can meet many international people and have some beers and pizza!
t.
Good place for a beer during the day. Not bad food and a great range of beer on tap.
B. W.
Great when it's quiet, can get pretty busy and rowdy at times though. Great selection of beer on tap.
P. C.
Nice venue, rooftop being closed on a Saturday night for an event was a bit disappointing but the staff were lovely, and they had a deal on where they double your bar tab so who could complain 😊
S. G.
Great venue!! Lance was the best, great service and very attentive ^-^
G. A.
This is a really nice place, not so busy! The happy hour is not applied upstairs.
A. S.
Cool, trendy and clean. Plus the beer is reasonably priced. Get amongst the happy hours.
B. W.
Nice venue in CBD, good beer's
C.
Great pub, awesome beers and large but cozy rooftop bar with smoking area.
S. S.
Good food, good drinks, cheap prices, great service!. All up, highly recommended.
A. M.
Great location. expensive drinks (city prices). Average food (pizzas were cold when placed on table).
A. S.
Beer plus comedy is a great combo. Thursday night comedy is Melbourne's best deal
J. ..
Had a coktail martini but it was nt that good.staff memember always pick glass even it is not empty ..i mean half beer glass.we paid for my drink not to pick up
F. Y.
Lunch special on rooftop was excellent. Rooftop is heated in winter so was very comfortable too!
M. M.
The beer is fantastic, and they serve good pub meals. I wish they still did the classical European dishes they had a few years ago.
O. G.
Good place for after work drinks. Used to frequent here in my younger days and they used to have live bands which was awesome.
C. A.
I ordered the Naughty Boy and it was fairly satisfying. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Definitely would come back.
C. R.
The choice of beer was great and the food was fast and tasty. Great atmosphere whilst we ate lunch.
S. K.
Seem to charge more than what is advertised for happy hours but when you have one to many the onus is on customers? RSA at its best
B. K.
Great food and rooftop bar. Super chilled hangout spot.
S. R.
Amazing parmas and great European beer selection. Bit pricier than your average pub but the food is delicious.
K. S.
Love the rooftop ambiance. Great staff and service.
P. K.
Good food. Great selection of beer. What more could you need?
M. P.
Bit crowded, and the acoustics is a bit much... but it is clean and well presented. Make your own minds up on it.
M. S.
Nice cafe in the heart of Melbourne. Good beers especially the Leffe Blond and Bruin on draught.
K. L.
Ok. Food on the average side for Melbourne for my taste. Not bad, but not rushing to go back.
L. H.
Not the coolest bar in Melbourne by any stretch, but decent of variety of drinks (especially beer), friendly staff, and lots of seating.
N. P.
Good range of European beers, great rooftop bar, very generous portions of chicken parmigiana.
t. w.
Monday night half price taps are a must. And the roof top bar is great
S. C.
Great selection of beer but a bit on the pricey side for my liking!
J. V.
V friendly helpful attentive staff, made us feel welcome. Music was a bit loud for comfort on the rooftop.
T. V.
Good cocktails and fun vibe. Rooftop was quite full on and can become very noisy.
M. M.
Love European beer!! It's very reasonable price!! Language exchange was so awesome and good opportunity!!
S. C.
Love this place. Good food and European beers as the name suggests.
V. S.
Good Ambience and cool place to catch up for lunches and dinners. The service took a while though at the rooftop restaurant in my last visit for lunch.
J. Z.
One of my favourites lunch spots. Always a good pub meal. You should pre-book.
C. N.
Visited on a wednesday night during mondalingo. Really hit and miss, sometimes its bustling and a great place to be. Sometimes the people are creepy and make you uncomfortable.
C. “.
Giod food and reasonable prices. Not many places in the CBD where you will get an Eye Fillet under $40.
N. H.
Fun venue with lots of options, good drinks and staff are great.
K. C.
Great happy hour prices, especially considering the beer selection they have
A. W.
Not cheap but a great variety, of beers and lots of space. Nice roof top, bar too
J. “. H. H.
It's ok. Better bars (many to choose from) in Melbourne. Doesn't have the best atmosphere.
P. r.
Cheap drinks(Happy hour) and nice interior.
Went there to join meetup MudoLingo.
J. H.
Thursday comedy night was wonderful. I have not laughed that hard in years. Would give 10 stars if I could.
E. K.
Lovely atmosphere and staff, a great venue for drinks and dinner will be coming back :)
A. C.
A casual redesign of the previous bar ownership really made this bar blend in with the tumbling aesthetic of the Melbourne scenery.
R. S.
Typical Australian food but the drinks and the ambience is a big draw for someone like me.
G. F.
Okay. Parma was expensive compared to other places. Came here for lunch with three others. One main came then we had to wait 20 minutes for the other three mains to arrive.
S. K.
Nice ambience. Good food. Keep an eye out for their specials!
A. R.
Great beer. Friendly staff. Good food.
V. M.
Good venue for watching comedy. Beer on special was reasonable but tapas wasn't to write home about.
m.
Fantastic place for a drink and a chat, very comfortable atmosphere, good knowledge of cocktails.
A. C.
Great place for a feed on the ground level and the rooftop bar for a few drinks
M. S.
Half price beers on Monday nights cheap basement comedy and $10 pizzas
J. M.
Belvedere as a base Vodka on the rooftop set the scene for a great night. A kickass cover band plays on the second floor.
H. T.
It's a good pub but nothing impressive. Roof top bar is just OK.
A. P.
Multi level pub, great selection of beers, super food and live comedy! Love it!!!
L. D. R. P.
Monday’s half price is the best day to go and try a good selection of beers.
G. L.
Very disappointed they don't allow using the email in my phone for the proof of new membership (have to print it on paper!). Will not go there any more.
M. M.
Great food, drink, atmosohere and service, I'll be back :-)
