Great country pub. Beer offerings decent with some craft beer options. Food all very tasty. Had the calamari and chicken parmigiana. Pool table $4 for a game. Beer garden outside very large and nice to eat in.

We have visited this restaurant twice during our Christmas regional getaway and both times have been great. The fish of the day - snapper was exceptional. Big shout out to all the staff, in particular Holly who is authentic and very kind. Thank you for the great service.

Another visit and again, beautiful meals. It was a Monday night and yet the place was still busy. I chose two entrees which were served hot, tasty and delicious. Along with a lovely gin and tonic, it certainly punctuated the end of a long day. The halloumi was a good size and plenty of it. The pork meatballs were spicy and soooo tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were fast to take my order and the meal came within 15 minutes. Very happy and highly recommend. Good parking out the front. Dietaries catered for. Kid friendly. High chairs available.

Excellent pub. Rarely does a menu have so many things that I want to eat on it that I struggle to decide, but that's the problem I faced! The food was absolutely delicious to boot. I had the peach & tomato salad, chicken wings and potato cakes. Great selection of tap beers, lovely staff and the beer garden and indoor section are well kept, clean and comfortable.

Stayed in Creswick for a night in the break between Christmas and New Year and went to the Farmer's Arms for dinner. Place was reasonably busy and staff were certainly under the pump. The food was reasonable, My wife had a fish and chips and I had their porterhouse steak, rare. The fish and chips were good, the porterhouse came out looking like it was well done but oozing a little red. It was palatable. The menu did say aged beef which maybe proved a little challenging for an inexperienced kitchen staff. The manager was attentive enough to ask for feedback and provided a glass of shiraz on the house.

Food was so much better than we expected, presentation and flavour was amazing. Roast chicken was the juiciest we've ever had and everything was hand made and made with attention to detail... Not one to leave reviews but this place is well worth the visit

Popped in here for lunch and I was very impressed. The staff were warm and friendly as soon as I walked in. Set in a beautiful town this country pub has a lovely garden and the food is gorgeous. I had the zucchini flower salad to start and the sticky pork Asian salad for main. The food was cooked to perfection, especially the pork and I left with a big smile on my face. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone lucky enough to be in the area.

We were starving and looking for a place to eat for a long time, but boy oh boy how we were i luck that we did not find anything on our roadtrip before Farmers Arms Hotel Creswick! Lovely setting, beautiful and spacious beergarden and delicious food! Pork belly was to die for and my friend said that this is easily one of the best steaks he has ever had. We went on the 11th of November and the bartender took good care of us. I was surprised for a minute, that he did not came to ask how our food was, but with food like that there is no need to. There are also some leather couches in a little lounge and a big bistro! Very good experience and definitely worth another visit!

Absolutely loved this place. We went in to eat. Would highly recommend it. Food was fresh and cook perfectly, waiting staff are very good at there job listened to every detail we gave them and it was all spot on, staff were very welcoming. Well done to the staff and owner. Another in the wonderful Australian trend of glamming up old country pubs. The mains average $20+ and is a better standard than your everyday pub meal. While the amenities maintain a traditional pub feel, the food is truly a step above. That's not to say this is fine dining but if you're after quality meals that tend towards familiar themes (pork belly, crème brûlé) this little outpost near the middle of Creswick is your thing.

Fantastic pub, dining is a delight. The meals we had where fabulous. I had the wagu eye fillet, medium rare ( also chefs recommendation to get best from the marbling) for anyone unfamiliar with the cut. It literally fell apart and melted in you're mouth, buetifully tender and moist. Wife had the pork belly, nice generous serving and absolutely delicious also perfectly cooked. We had sticky date with vanilla bean icecream very nice finish to a wonderful meal. Service is excellent, very friendly atmosphere and staff. Good selection of craft beer and ciders also a very nice wine selection. Can dine in or out in the beer garden if you prefer. Has live music Friday and Saturday nights 8:30 open till 11 pm. Overall highly recommend you call in if in Creswick or if in area is worth the drive. They have in-house butcher and meat is sourced locally. 5 star

Long wait times, had to ask for steak knives, inconsistent experience between tables etc. Polish up the service and you have one of the best pubs in Victoria.

When a schooner and a wine cost you $18 in a supposedly country pub then things are going the wrong way. Even buying the bottle of wine was way too expensive, Food was a little on the expensive side as well. Went out to Clunes, far better.

The Farmers Arms Hotel has definitely raised my expectations when it comes to the quality of food you can order at a pub/hotel. The Tasting Plate, Steaks and Homemade Pie my party had ordered were all excellent. That being said, the slow service given by our attending waitress gave me the impression that my table was being ignored throughout the night, hindering our collective enjoyment, albeit only slightly.

My two sisters and I had lunch today at this lovely pub in Creswick. The food was outstanding, with big serves and a really good range of choices. We sat in front of the fire and enjoyed a glass of wine while waiting for our meals, which came out promptly. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were very helpful. We were also lucky enough to have a chat with the owner, who obviously loves this little town. We hope to come back with more family members next time!

Beautiful cosy spaces. Meals are good size. Blue steak cooked to perfection. Only con for us was our meals all came out at different times. But we were too hungry and thirsty to care, so we just drank beer whilst others ate until the dishes eventually all came out. Nice place to stop for a drink. In winter, if you're lucky (we were), there's a great place for two in front of the fire. (The fire is gas but very life-like). There's a dart board to play on too. The restaurant is very good too. I had pork belly which was exceptional. And there's a simple bar menu if you prefer.

Great place to take the family for dinner, I was there on a Wednesday night and was surprised how busy it was. In saying that, even the staff were surprised how many people turned up, but busy as it was the wait time for food wad short, the food was excellent and the staff friendly courteous and attentive. Called in on our way to Daylesford from gisborne, it was a toss up between the American and Farmers arms. We had eaten at the American a few years ago, so we thought we'd try the Farmers Arms. We had drinks in the lounge while waiting to be seated in the dining room. The lounge seats were comfortable and the music just audible. Once seated, I feel the time between ordering and service was a bit long considering only 3 tables were occupied. Having said that, once served, our meals were sumptuous and the wait staff were friendly and prompt. My wife had flathead tails with chips and salad, I always go for any pie that's home made. I wasn't disappointed, this one, served with chunky chips and salad was beautiful. Would recommend. Worthy of the drive,

We had an excellent meal here. The staff were just fantastic. Polite, attentive, helpful but not overbearing. The food was great too. We went for the tasting plate for entree and the 3-way lamb and barramundi with asparagus risotto for mains. All produce locally sourced and very high quality. We are going to try to find some of the suppliers to het some produce to take home . Our waitress helped us select a bottle of local wine which was very nice and with a range of beers on tap and a band playing we stayed on for a very enjoyable evening. 5 stars, absolutely recommend a visit.

Went there for dinner with family, not a bad restaurant, nice and clean, decor is decent, staff are very nice and friendy, food was disappointing though. We waited over an hour to receive our mains when the restaurant was not that busy at all, when the food finally arrived my mum's risotto was the blandest thing I'd ever tried, no flavour at all. I asked for my steak medium rare and it was more on the rare side. For the price it's not too bad, don't think I'd go again though

This old historic pub has been renovated well. Modern but has kept period features. Good food showcasing some local produce. Outside undercover area, double sided bar lounge and dining areas. Bands play most Friday and Saturday nights till midnight. However there seems to be a lack of security present and a refresher in r.s.a would be advantageous.

The best pub in the area - must visit! We loved every meal! We ordered the House cured meats, Parma, Kids' fish n chips, Lamb 3 ways, Steak, Churros and Affagato... The meats were excellent and perfectly cooked. The live music was mostly covers of Johnny Cash and other country music - we loved it! We also played pool which was heaps of fun. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

My Wife and I had dinner at the Farmers Arm on Saturday night ( 15/2/20 ) and we were served by a very nice young man by the name of Joel , he looked after us very well , but the most important thing is my Wife and i were extremely satisfied with our meals , i had the Chicken Pama and my wife had the pan fried Chicken , we were very happy with the quality and service so we decided to make another booking for Sunday night ( 16/2/20 ) I decided to have what my wife had the night before and my wife had the Barramundi , wow again very very happy with our meals and great service from Joel , we cannot fault this place and we will definitely come again , Thanks especially to the Chefs 😁🍷🍽

Had an awesome dinner with family. The beef n mushroom pie was served crusty and the meat was delicately cooked. The barramundi was beautifully fresh and lovely. The beer battered flathead results was crisp on the outside and most juicy inside. The service was fast and friendly. Love it. We're had dinner the previous night at TheHarvest@RACV and the Farmers Arms bests it hands down. Service at TheHarvest was slow (45 mins wait) while the food bland and pricey. If ever in Creswick, the FAH is the place to head to.

Still the best pub meals going around. Got the steak and the only thing as good was the lovely blokes service. Top stuff. My last review. The best pub meal I've had in a long time, if not ever. Had the sticky pork belly w/apple sauce of some type and it rocked. If I had to fault it, I would have liked a little more slaw as the dish was so rich and tasty. Everyone who was with us enjoyed their meals too. Absolutely top rate. (And it was when we came here last year too.)
