Quite a nice place to go for an after work party. The food is good, the drinks are great. The overall ambience is very relaxed. As far as I can remember, the music doesn't get really loud. This place can be a bit tricky for a large gathering (60-70 people), unless fully booked by you!

Nice spacious and bright place. You can also order from belle's chicken and the burger place and enjoy your food there. The not-so-good about this place is inconsistent service. Ordered a moctail that took ages to come. The rest of my colleagues ordered beer, so not sure why the 1 drink took so long that I have to follow up. It was mid week and around 4pm.

Place is awesome for after work beers in Docklands. Very wide beer selection. Snacks a plenty. Can order food from the bar and they'll go to Mr burger and there's another place but I forget now, and drop it to your table. Awesome!

The team here are sensational - particularly Erin and Gemma! Held an event here for the second time now and am consistently blown away by how friendly, straight-forward and no-nonsense the team are. I work with a lot of venues around Melbourne and these guys are my absolute favourites. Also the bar is great and the food is awesome, we always have good feedback from guests on both. Many thanks!

TL,DR functionally amazing, atmosphere a bit dead outside functions. Decent bar. Part of a bigger food court, so you have a range of food on offer. Allows the use of an app called 100 Orders, which means food and drinks delivered to your table. A great feature means no queues at the bar. Has a few regular things on (trivia night) and also functions (closed off areas). Biggest gripe is the "feel". No real atmosphere. Not much fun, beyond event nights. Has a range of Murray's beets that can be hard to find in Melbourne.

Everyone who works here is super friendly and always pour your drinks with happiness. V bubbly and when it's super hot in melb they always remember to offer you water in between drinks! It's just really nice to hang here and be greeted with a smile everytime you go to the bar :)

Cute bar in a corporate location, far end of Collins... closer to Docklands so that means after 6.30pm, parking is free and lots of it on a Friday night. Music was standard combination of new age and classic pop, rnb, rock. Bartenders were friendly. Good place to catch up after work.

Fun place to visit. It's kind of an outside bar garden that is inside a food court. This makes it cool and comfortable to eat on very hot days. What I consider amazing is you bring food into this place and eat. So either but food from the food or just bring your home packed lunch. I met up with friends and one girl just purchased a drink. Another girl and I bought food from the food court and the final girl pulled out her home made lunch.

We celebrated our work Christmas Party at Hightail and could not have been happier with the quality of the space, the food, drinks and the staff! The Functions Manager, Erin, was incredibly helpful and made the organising process so simple and straight-forward, we had nothing to worry about with our party in her hands! Nice parma special on a Thursday night. Different specials for the day of the week. Was meeting friends at 6pm and had to wait for a table spot to open up due to after work drinks traffic. Always a pleasant experience at Hightail.

Went along to their champagne and oyster party. It was so good. Will really looked after us, and the rest of the staff were great. Plus, $89 for a bottle of Veuve and a dozen oysters, a delicious steal! Look forward to next time.

Situated right at the lower ground floor of the office building at Collins street, this is a great place to hang around after office. Although little more crowded, this pub offers good selection of beers and wines. It was a surprise to find glue wine at this place. Apart from the Australian beers, it was a surprise to find few Belgian beers on the tap. We tried some dark beers on tap. We did not try any food options here.

Surprisingly big bar at the Southern Cross end of Collins St. Pretty extensive list of beers both on tap and in bottles. Solid wine list as well. The bar connects to the food court so you can enjoy a 'Mr Burger' Burger while watching the footy. Gets busy on a Friday with a lot of corporates.

I can't decide about this place. It's good to have another option for drinks after work but it has the look and atmosphere of a student union. It has three bars, but when it gets busy, and it gets really busy, there aren't enough staff on them. You can order food, belles chicken, burgers and tacos, using an app. Shame you can't order drinks too on the app. It's got a smoking area but they need to sort the outakes as the whole place smelt smokey. Maybe that was helping either the 1995 student flashbacks.....

Great bar hidden in the office block. They have this app for your phone that allows you to order your drinks and your food to your table paid for on your phone. Can be a little slow and there is no following up with a wait staff about your order.. They have belles hot chicken and mr burger, some good beers on tap.

3.9 Hightail is a fantastic, thumping, pumping bar on the ground floor of Collins Square. It is a huge, attractive space popular with the 20 somethings. Hightail serves food too - the Hightail Grill is very popular - although Twosheds has only frequented for a glass of wine. The wine list is passable and efficient, while not being expansive. Hightail hosts events too - the Wednesday night trivia is a lot of fun. On Fridays, the whole of Collins Square flows into this place and it becomes a complete bun fight. Fun but beware! Okay place for after work drinks if you are in the Docklands extension of Collins Street. You can find it in the food court of Collins Square. A bit pricey. Plan ahead if you need to use the toilets - its about 75m out of the bar, down a ramp, and past the elevators. Stand close when its busy as it is very noisy with glass walls.
