Really nice place with decent pricing. It's cheaper than other karaoke places without losing on quality. I find their system easiest to use out of everywhere I've been. Everyone in our group was able to use the app on our phone to search for and add songs. The people working there were also really efficient and friendly. Recommend over other karaoke places :)

Great place to just slam them out while chugging down some drinks. The app is a good way to get everyone involved and adding in songs. But quite often the songs and music videos were a bit weird and not aligned to their originals/names. Eg you might get a few covers. Loses points for toilet facilities, pretty much one per floor.

Overall was not too bad, but just let you know this place is quite a bit different to me, songs selected couldn’t be arranged randomly and there is no songs sorted out as long as you manually type the name of the songs/singers on your own. The songs played are different from the name as well.. not much options in terms of songs unfortunately. Apart from the machine, there’s no other issues.

The experience was great and being able to add songs prior to the booking was even better. The only problem was that songs from our playlist would randomly disappear with no error messages or notification. Not sure if it was a problem with the app but it's something to be aware of. Other than that the night was great and I highly recommend.

Great space for karaoke. They had at least 5 mics. Easy to use song choosing. Lots more options for alcohol which you don't often get at other karaoke places. They also had yum sweet patato chips. Only down note was the cold chicken wings. Not Ideal.

My favourite place for karaoke. Kbox is simply the best experience for going singing, dancing and sharing with your friends. I had a really good time there and the customer service is really nice, all staff were friendly and kind. I definitely recommend this place if you want to have a lot of fun.

Fantastic place! 10 of us booked a room for 2 hours, ended up adding an extra hour because we were having so much fun. Staff were friendly, great range of songs, drinks arrived quickly and very reasonably priced. 1 of our group has already booked in again for next week! The song selection is good, the tools are good, the room service is good, the drink prices are good (be creative) and calamari and fries with sauce delivered to the room can't be beat. 5 stars for K-Box. We went to Kbox city for a hens and had a blast. The staff was polite and friendly and good atmosphere. They even inflated the balloons we took with helium at no extra cost. It was a bit difficult to navigate the songs using the iPad but everything else was good.

We booked out the biggest private room for 25 people on a Saturday night for 4 hours for my 34th Bday! Booking was an online breeze, so simple! Paying a deposit and the balance on the night. When we arrived I was surprised with the room filled with helium balloons! We had 5 mic’s, 3 screens and huge wrap around lounges. There was a HUGE variety of songs (Even some heavy metal which is rare) Our hostess Ana was a dream and so polite even with drinks/ food constantly being ordered by 20+ people. Waiter Matt was adorable and very professional too! My friends and completely enjoyed ourselves 100%! We will be back VERY soon! A++

Most of my Japanese friends living in Australia had left Japan before karaoke, as we know it, was invented. I have been enjoying K-Box personally with friends for nearly a decade and also for the last 6 years I have been organising regular group gatherings catered for the elderly Japanese living in Melbourne. First timers enjoy it so much that they are coming back repeatedly. K-Box owner and staff have been so understanding of our situation and are beyond helpful every time we come. We very much appreciate their continued support and we all thank you for the fun and good times. We always look forward to coming back again.

Nice venue with good pricing. Unfortunately you have to pay in one transaction as opposed to separate payments, but this didn't ruin the whole experience. They have a great selection of songs and the rooms are really nice. The only other nit-picky thing I had was that we ordered food and it was payed for but not even put in the system. We had to follow it up about 30-60 minutes after ordering it. Otherwise, a great experience with lovely staff and a nice venue if you're looking to go belt out some tunes with your squad!

KBOX was the best thing I did for my hen's night. Had a group of 6 and we were running behind schedule, we called and the receptionist was so friendly and easily facilitated a change in the time of the booking as well as the number of people attending (as I had originially booked for 9) The mocktails were AMAZING and they even decorated our room to suit a hen's night at no extra cost. It was so much better than I could've imagined. Thanks KBOX for helping to make my night extra special!

Amazing Karaoke for reasonable prices for big groups. They have a diverse range of songs and the two drinks are not outta the world, but you will still have fun. Their range of drinks are also varied. Their food was good enough for a night out! Ideally go with a big group and you will enjoy it thoroughly. Best fun ever!! LOVE being able to pick songs in advance using the app. We had 4 people and there were enough microphones for everyone to have one at the same time! Floor was a bit sticky but the seats were comfy, the drinks were cold, and the service was fabulous. Will definitely be back!

They have nice, compact and cosy rooms for karaoke which suit me fine because I'm not one for large, crowded and noisy places to sing in - singing in front of large crowds of strangers makes me nervous. About 5 of us would take turns singing in one room. They have 2 big books from where we choose our songs (one listed by songs and the other listed by the names of the singers, all in alphabetical order ). There is also a huge screen which displays the words to the song. Cost - $22 plus a free drink for 5 hours - not bad and pretty comprehensive huh ?? My only reservation is that the microphone is not very powerful and the book does not embrace all the songs I would like to sing - granted there are so many new songs being produced now.

I booked a 4+ hour party room for 22 people for my book launch celebration and it was great. I have been here many times in the past but never booked it myself. The song list is extensive and the system has been updated and works really well, easy to use. I pre-made my track list via the website booking and it was all set up for when we arrived at the room! No time wasted. The service was friendly and the drink service was prompt. There were plenty of staff working on the Saturday night and the room was clean. Sound was good, the mics with the cords were the best, as the cordless mics sometimes had feedback if both were used at the same time. Lots of fun. Will return!

Love this place. Amazing song choices and cool atmosphere. The food and drinks are a but expensive but you get a free one when you book and that's nice. Best karaoke in Melbourne really, sure its a little pricey but you don't karaoke everyday! Great fun and if you go during happy hour like I did its quite cheap!

Recently booked a room here. It was very expensive @ about $250 for 5 people, and came with roughly $120 worth of credit to be spent on drinks and food from the menus. The drinks were insanely expensive though, so the credit did not take our group far at all. The song selection, microphones, screens and basically everything else was fantastic though! I will try to find cheaper alternatives next time, but wouldn't be too upset if I didn't find anything better.

Everything was smooth for the night, I had a big group and everyone didn't get there until 20 minutes later so the girls at the counter gave me an extra 20 minutes which they didn't have too but they did anyways! Was at level two, the in-room song machine didn't have alternate language input so you couldn't search for Chinese or Japanese songs. You'll need to connect to their web app and use your own phone to search for other languages (if you're phone supports said language). Didn't ask the staff though, since we could use our phones. The website is not up to date with current prices, and the 'credit' you receive as part of a booking is misleading. The drinks are charged an exorbitant price, and you end up spending $350 worth of credit very quickly. At $50 a head, my friends and I had a lovely time but aren't so thrilled with the pricing structure.

The karaoke was simple and easy to book on their website. I booked a room for 6 people and the whole process was smooth, with adjustments able to be made online. When it came to the singing though, one microphone had major echo problems so we were unable to use it. A few songs we queued simply did not work or were badly synchronised with the lyrics. However, the 4 hours we spent there was still jam packed with great, working songs. Given my short stay in Melbourne I could only visit this one place and can't really compare it. I did still expect a more flawless experience given the raving reviews however. Simply put, an average Karaoke experience with very affordable pricing.

We had a really good experience here. We were in a large room which was well-priced and quite spacious. All the equipment worked as expected and the temperature was great. Good selection of songs. Quick bar service, standard drinks, terrible food but priced accordingly. We all used the companion app to queue up music too which was a nice touch and made it much easier to coordinate with a big group.

Setup is pretty impressive and we had a great time. Just don't expect to be able to sing in tune even if you can normally!

Great night! Rooms are clean, the mics are robust and worked flawlessly.. The app (on phone or the tablet in the room) makes things very easy. It would be better if the playlist refreshed automatically when someone changes the order or adds new songs, though. The sing list is pretty good - a lot of songs I wouldn't have expected. But at the same time missing a few glaringly obvious tunes. And some of the songs are slower or faster than they should be. But overall, a great karaoke experience! Such a good deal for the price! We paid $38 each and had the room from 8:30pm-3:30am and included two drinks! (For a group of 4). You have a private room and don't have to sing in front of strangers which takes away some of the awkwardness and lets you just have fun! The staff were very nice too.

Seems clean, has phone app to choose songs, and usb ports to charge your phone if you have a cable. Staff seemed generally friendly but note that its 18+ since it's a bar. Highly recommend and would definitely come back with friends.

I really like the mic stand in the private rooms. Make us feel like a superstar. Good service, easy app to choose songs and by downloading the phone app, everyone gets to pick a song easily. Its affordable and fun for Uni students like me. Just gotta remember to bring your ID or passport or drivers licence coz they serve alcoholic drinks.

Also appreciate the receptionist, who ran after me (in 38C heat) after I'd accidentally left my sunglasses in one of the rooms - I was already halfway to Melbourne Central by then. Always a good time. HUGE range of songs. Some newer songs seem to be just the video clips, not actual karaoke versions (i.e. they still have the vocals). I've been here a number of times, enjoying all of them, but I think I've prefered smaller group experiences than larger. But to each their own ! The standing 'elvis' mics are great!

My favourite karaoke place in Melbourne. Great package deals and very clear pricing list. You can download track listing and using their app you can set your playlist. Good selection of drinks. Food is probably not the best, but it's a karaoke place and that's to be expected. You're expecting around $30-35 per person for a group of 15 which tends to include about two drinks each for a 2 hour session. You can order more drinks when you've exhausted your drink spend and then settle the bill at the end.

But if you are satisfied singing songs that you can just find on their "music-selection-tablet-controller thing" without chinese characters or kanji... it's good enough. Will definitely come back again.
