What a find!! The staff are absolutely fantastic — from the security at the front to the kitchen staff bringing food out — everyone had a smile on their face and is very polite and attentive! The drinks were great, strong, and very well-priced! The food smelled amazing, but we had just had dinner, so didn’t get to taste it, but the prices were also very good! Absolutely loved the music — a great mix of 80’s and 90’s! Definitely coming back to check out the upstairs part and try some of that food!!

Came for the comedy show and it did not disappoint. Great show with great atmosphere. Needed to get there early (45 mins) to get a good seat. Bar staff was great with the large crowds. Would definitely recommend the free comedy show, but please do show your appreciation for the comedians. Put some bills in the jar on the way out for a great show.

I can never decide whether Heartbreaker or spleen is my fave CBD bar. Spleen is consistently a lovely spot to grab a drink. Good beers, lovely, chill environment, great music, good food, lovely staff.

Spleen is a good east CBD bar to catch up with mates as it's closing/opening times are very broad. Average price drinks but overall you'll meet nice people and leave happy.

It's alright, although the staff is a bit rude and the whole ordering process was uncomfortable. Also the music is too loud for a pub where you hang out with your mates and have a chat.

Great beer, AMAZING burgers, and a laid-back vibe. I give 4 stars instead of 5 purely because there is often extremely loud music, and being a small venue, it is hard to hold a conversation. Take those tinder dates you don't really want to have meaningful conversations with. The beer and atmosphere is very conducive to a "let's get out of here... my place?"

Cool dive bar, right in the CBD amongst the classier restaurants at the top of Bourke Street. A good change of pace. Friendly staff, and reasonable choice of beers on tap. The quality Comedy night run on Monday's is definitely worth checking out too.

I love this bar. The staff are always lovely, year in year out, the drinks prices are reasonable, music is good, and couches are comfy. It's the best dive bar I know, great location, and a safe bet at any hour.

Packed out for the comedy night. Not fun trying to see past the sweaty crowd. Went upstairs to escape and the audio from stage cut out as soon as the acts started. Not exactly cheap drinks as claimed either. At least the pool table was free..
