I don't normally bother writing reviews, but this place served me up the best burger I've ever had in my life (Mushroom and Haloumi) Chips have chicken salt on them too!!! Great old school pub in the heart of the city. Highly recommend for anyone that is after wholesome pub food and great service. THANK YOU! I will be back.

Came here with a group of 20. The hospitality and service from staff was exceptional. We had an awesome corner of the pub reserved for us. Food was great, drinks were flowing, and our group had a fantastic time. Thank you!

The Cooper Inn is a typical pub, bar was lively and staff was friendly. Food was normal pub food, which was fresh, hot and came out quickly. I had the beef & stout pie with mash potatoes and peas which hit the spot. Decor is a little tired and could do with updating. If you're looking for a old pub atmosphere it worth a try.

I'm a simple man – I like a good schnitzel, I like a good beer, and I like watching the Tigers win. The Coopers can guarantee the first two, and sometimes the third (but that one's sorta out of the their control). Ripping pub, family friendly to boot, would schnitz again.

Average local pub. Food is a bit ‘meh’, drinks are cold, people friendly. Would benefit from getting rid of the tvs for the racing and betting - but lots of people like it so what can you do. Good place to grab a quick beer after work, but avoid if you’re looking for a meal.

Good pub, has some nice beers on tap. They have been working to get a wider selection of craft beers on tap, the ones they have started with i approve. Haven't eaten here for a while since management has changed. Would be 5 stars but im not a big fan of the TAB\Racing Gambling thing right in the main section. Worth a visit.

I was here for a comedy show, great bar. As a girl, i loved the smelly candles, nice to walk into a bar and it smell good. Staff were friendly and quick to serve. Will go back for a drink after work for sure

It's an alright pub. Best parts of the pub are its selection of food on the dinner menu, amount of space for functions and friendly staff. However, the selection of beer on tap aren't particularly great. Not much variety of stout, for instance.

Fairly decent traditional city pub in the Telstra corporate Centre. A reasonable range of reasonable quality food at decent prices and large servings. A good range of beers and wines at reasonable prices. Usually quite busy at lunch and early evenings on weeekdays.

I'm unsure if the obvious potential of the location and architecture exacerbates the dissappointing reality of a pub/hotel/gaming venue that is staffed by individuals eager to be somewhere else. Furnished as an afterthought akin to a manner a holiday house acquires basic necessites....donation or retaining that discarded for thoughtful purchases elsewhere. I would consider returning if "under new management" sign emerged. Current management clearly has no interest in interior design nor genuine appreciation of this historic building. Needless to say service (or otherwise) contributes to an experience that rates well below 'meh'.
