Nice rooftop bar, staff are super friendly and nice, like the option of in app ordering as well as at the bar. Platter was great to share with a group of people, only $25. Would come again!

Overall: 4/5 Pricey drinks and food but very very delicious! Such a nice view and breeze upstairs, with freshly cooked food to accompany the drinks. We got the pulled pork and olive pizza as well as the chicken pesto pizza which both were delicious! Loved the thin base and crust, meat was cooked perfectly. If it packed more punch in flavour would be tastier. Highly recommend their sweet potato fries. I was addicted to it and almost ate the whole bowl to myself whilst drinking the night away! We came on Thursday for a few drinks and nibbles at the Rooftop terrace area. We had an awesome time, food was nice and the drinks were great. Our bartender was highly knowledgeable and all staff were friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend, the downstairs lounge was closed but looked like a fun time.

This is a beautiful rooftop bar with amazing vibe. Ordering a brandy with hot water could have been much easy had the Bar attendants (Barmen) been little more easier to communicate to but no complains. Really hope they open-up pretty soon once the lockdown ends.

Today’s sooooo hot weather. But here is beautiful view. You can take a good rest time. And Smoking and non-smoking areas are divided. Also here Use metal straw. Soooo nice But if you don’t have a cash and also when you pay for card, you can pay minimum $15. I have a cash ☺️ But close to noisy pub. If you want to quiet place, I’m not recommend for you

They took a large group in and gave us a place to celebrate a friend’s birthday at the last minute when our booking was messed up elsewhere. The staff and owner (I assume, maybe manager) were overwhelmingly helpful and cheerful. They went over and above to ensure our evening was better than we imagined! Thanks guys!

Oh my goodness the mulled wine in this place is to die for, I’m so glad I came here during the winter or as Melbourne people call it: “the norm.” All jokes aside though, I’d highly recommend checking out this place, especially for the rooftop. The bar staff really go out of their way to make sure you’re well looked after, I couldn’t get drinking all night there. Looking forward to returning here again.

We had a work function on the rooftop which I organised with Char. From start to finish the service was impeccable! The food was fantastic and the serving staff were very attentive to all catering and dietary needs. Any questions on my behalf were followed up promptly with a can do attitude. My colleagues loved the vibe of the rooftop, it was truly a spectacular way to celebrate together. I would have no hesitation in using the venue again and want to say a huge thank you to Char for all of her hard work in organising the event on her end.

Hosted a 21st here with some friends and was an absolute dream! Char is so lovely and helped us organise and plan the event quickly and smoothly. If I could give The Emerald Peacock 10 stars I would! A big thank you to Char and the entire team who went above and beyond for our small xmas parties in early December. The entire experience from the lead up to the event and on the night was sensational and the customer service was second to none. I've already told a handful of my friends and colleagues if they need a space for their next event, The Emerald Peacock is the place. Can't speak highly enough of this place!

Asked for Dark & Stormy and got one with lemon pub squash from the postmix with dehydrated lime.. Like what.. Also, was there on date and enquired if they do split bill while they were away from the table and asked specifically I didn't want to pay yet, only to be brought the bill on my dates return making it appear I tried close things off and get away while they indisposed being only 2 drinks in. Downstairs is nice, upstairs decor and music is bit default. I passed guy who I guess was duty manager or licensee/owner and they were really cool and friendly, shame inexperienced/tactless bartender took the shine off.

Emerald Peacock are a wonderful venue to visit & organise events with! I have been working with Emerald Peacock on behalf of the Monash Law Students' Society to organise our social events for the past two years and they are very accomodating and our students always have a great time. We recently hosted our end of exam/year drinks (early December 2020) and even with the COVID-19 venue restrictions in place, it was still very social and felt as normal as possible. The student feedback was that the grazing platters were delicious also! The staff are very friendly and attentive and Char (Events Manager) always makes the organisational side of things very easy. I would recommend visiting Emerald Peacock as a great venue in the heart of the CBD (lovely rooftop) and also if you are looking to host your next event!

I really like this bar! It’s neat, has good music and a rooftop bar which is always a bonus! This place has a large range of alcohol beverages as well as a beautiful rooftop bar. The interior of this place has a wooden theme to it which has a relaxed feel to the place. The staff there are great and very friendly and they always going around collecting empty glasses all bottles and replacing dirty ashtrays.

Thursday night was good. No DJ, so no dancing (which isn't what I was after). They did have music (a playlist) so there was some ambience. Drinks were good. I celebrated my 50th birthday in the Feather Lounge, which gave the party a VIP vibe within a stylish and lively venue, with 70 guests being looked after by expert bartenders creating delicious cocktails, and friendly waitresses serving canapes. Thanks to the team who helped on the night from setting up, through to storing my presents to be picked up the next day. Charlyne did a wonderful job organising the event, putting together the catering menu and beverage package with lots of variety. My guests had a great time, we'd love to do it all again!

Good venue and nice way of doing outdoor drinking. The middle level bar is also comfortable. Drinks are on the pricey side though and the selection of wine leaves a bit to be desired. Can get very loud. They allow smoking everywhere on the top floor, so you will most likely walk out smelling like an ashtray.

Christmas function at this place the other night so you would have thought that we would be a high value customer but I didn't feel that this was the case. Although they had 6 bar staff it took forever to get a drink on the roof top bar. Bar staff couldn't remember more than two drinks & after we ordered 10 drinks for a group they put a two drink per person limit on the service because they couldn't cope. (5 of the drinks were the same.) I wouldn't say they had great customer service either, rude and disrespectful to patrons and spent a lot of time talking to one another while people waited for service. Service staff with the food were great and food was pretty tasty. Overall it's not a bad place but I think that the bar staff need a bit of a lesson on customer service.

We recently held our go-live project party at Emerald Peacock downstairs. From start to end it was a seamless process. Charlyne who helped manage our event was so accommodating with our requirements. They were flexible with setting the room in a way that would suit out party with equal standing and sitting areas available, they were able to provide a microphone for our speeches, the background music was perfectly suited and they were happy to send us an invoice for the charge. The catering was sensational and for once we felt we had enough food and drinks for our budget. We would hold another event here in a heart beat and highly recommend to others. Split into two levels, the rooftop bar is where you should go on a beautiful arvo or night, and the dim and moody indoor area is perfect to stay hidden. Cocktails are a safe bet here. The Hanakatoba featuring vodka, yuzu honey, lemon, elderflower, basil and egg white is a super refreshing drink, and so easy to overindulge in. The gin-based Founding Charter is also a firm favourite with hints of zesty grapefruit and lemon. Service is friendly and down-to-earth. Always a great spot for a pre or post dinner drink.

I was here for a meet and started with 2 for 1 spritzer which I requested bartender (dressed in white shirt and black tie) that if I can have one now and one later as I'm willing to make payment beforehand as it wasn't very busy at that time, which he agreed and later on got another rounds of 🍻 the same way, which was amazing. I believe this is an example for other pubs in CBD to follow and set standards high l, for creating a Fab experience for customer... Quite a good bar. I was here for a Young Planner's event and unfortunately it does get very stuffy and hot in there and it can be hard to hear the group's conversations when there's so much noise in the main bar -- the noise just echoes.
