I held my 21st birthday in a private function room at the Emerson Rooftop. Happy to say that was one of the best nights I’ve ever had. Ellyn and the staff were incredible towards the guest and myself. Very friendly and helpful. The food provided was amazing in every way and the whole night was made perfect. Thank you to you all!

Lovely spot, outstanding sound quality in their big room with a groovy giant disco ball. The rooftop is fantastic and spacious with an indoor-outdoor flow and hydrating misters for larger scale summer events, such as The Breakfast Club currently hosted at The Emerson on Mondays (pictured).

It's okay. The friendly and helpful staff, more specifically Mia, were the main highlight of the afternoon when my small group attended few weeks ago. Otherwise, be prepared to be surrounded by some... interesting people. The prices were reasonable considering we went during some sort of bottomless alcohol event, which also had one meal provided (also a highlight). Given that I don't drink, I didn't get the full value but there's definitely value to be had if you're into that type of thing. Can get quite hot under the plastic shades, unfortunately.

I'm probably not the right demographic for this place, but if you have the looks, energy, stamina and fashion sense to go out - the Emerson should be high on your list. I did try my best however to look the part. I was here for a function during Grand Prix weekend. I actually ended up having a really good time here with my friend - the rooftop area is great. The bar staff were really quick and friendly, the catering was good. The venue itself was slick, and the bathrooms were clean. If you are looking for a fun night out with your squad, the Emerson is a great place to go.

Had an absolute ball at the work Christmas party at The Emerson. Every single staff member was incredibly attentive and friendly but the stand out was Rovaun whose immaculately positive demeanor and exemplary customer service was simply beyond! From ensuring that canapés were served to assisting with my Uber at the end of the evening, he went above and beyond, as did all the staff that worked tonight. Kudos to an amazing team that smashed it out of the park for the Christmas party on 13th Dec 2021!

Breakfast Club and The Emerson, the perfect marriage of hedonism. With a ridiculously photogenic rooftop for the day and expansive d-floor for the later hours, you'd easily lose a day here in Melbourne's finest offerings. Varies, dependant on event/DJ line up.

Very chilled out place. Loved the enclosed area on the rooftop (It was nice and warm). Start off at the rooftop bar with some drinks and bites (would recommend making a table reservation), and then work yourself downstairs to the club. If you need a break and a less noisy place to have a chat, you can always go back to the rooftop. Staff were very friendly, the DJ on the other hand could have been better.

The customer service from Sasha was amazing, she is so considerable and arranged everything just exactly perfect. I spent my birthday party yesterday with my 30 friends, and all of my friends were so happy about her customer service skill. Great venue - Must have been a change of ownership due to a bottomless bartab (what it felt like). Front staff really kind and helpful with any issues. Reasonably priced drinks and the bottom floor really turns up after 11pm.

Popped into Easeys at the Emerson for a bite to eat and it was absolutely delicious. Their burgers are really tasty. Fresh and full of flavour. Paired with a glass of wine. What more could you ask for!

We had a private function. Staff were nice and attentively helpful... Until the entertainment finnished & the DJ left. We were told the bar tab was finnished and we where not allowed to buy our own drinks, not even soft drink or water. We were left listening to the music that was being played from upstairs on the rooftop bar until our time was up. No way to change it apparently. (There was 1.5 hrs difference). We were not allowed upstairs as it was full (we were told we would have access once our time in the private function was finnished). And the food we had was deep-fried mac 'n' cheese, deep-fried fish, deep-fried chicken & potatoe gems. I feel Management need to think about how to handle private functions, including food, music and bar service and information given at the time of booking.

Visited here for a 30th birthday party on a Saturday night. The rooftop is amazing; light and airy even inside. We had some tasting plates to share - sashimi, sweet potato chips and fried chicken. The food was surprisingly good, surprising because I figure most people go there to drink and not eat! It was also super quick to arrive. Drinks were good and the music was good. All in all it was a great venue for a versatile night!

Also, the live music provided a great atmosphere (if, slightly loud). I would definitely return to the rooftop.

Amazing vibes!!! All the staff were very hospitable including the Blonde girl at the front!! The place has different levels you can go to and turns into a club at 1am. I had a group of 30 there and we had a booth. The staff treat you like gold and the music was rocking! If your looking for a good night out - I would recommend choosing the Emerson.

Had an amazing experience celebrating my birthday there. Started with a very good customer service by email from Mitch making my reservation. Then staff was very friendly on the day. Had a booth at the rooftop and it was much better than I expected. Service during the night was amazing. Mariana was our hostess and she was great! We went back next day to celebrate another friend’s birthday because Mariana helped us with another reservation. Would def recommend and go back. Thanks guys!

I went here on a Saturday night with a group of friends. There was a dress code - collared shirt or jacket for men - and a cover charge - $15 from at least 9pm. The night we went we went to the rooftop bar only and unfortunately they had two functions on which essentially made the rooftop bar a dysfunctional space to be. I also thought it had a bit of a creepy vibe as there were lots of middle aged men clearly on the prowl for young women. Very expensive drinks. Maybe this place is better during the day or a different night of the week? But wouldn't go again.

Went to the Emerson tonight for the first time for my work Xmas party. Venue is nice , I liked the space and location. However I found the drinks a bit disappointing and really weak, I drank vodka raspberries and vodka with pineapple juice and could barely taste the alcohol. Me and my co worker drank the same drinks and she too agreed that the drinks were weak and not as crisp as they could have been. Luckily there was a tab on the bar and I didn't have to pay for my beverages, yet if I paid for these drinks I would have 100% taken them back.

Great atmosphere, setting and views. Food and drinks pricey but worth it. Many a Sunday afternoon relaxing on the lounges upstairs. Friday nights have also been fun for us here in their VIP section in the nightclub area with modern upbeat music and yuppie clientele.

One of my favourite places to go out to on a Saturday night for some RnB music. A nice upmarket venue, fireplace outside, 2 levels with a rooftop. Be mindful that there is a entry fee after a certain time but keeps the crowd clean.

I love this place!! We had a girls brunch a few weeks ago and the staff were nothing short of amazing! 15 of us attended the afl grand final last night and it was mega, personally would of liked to have seen a cocktail on the package like the usual brunch packages but that’s fine coz we had a great time. Only downside was you couldn’t see the screen to watch the game because of the glare off the sun, didn’t bother me because I don’t like football but some people would of been disappointed to pay $100 for a booth and not have visability of the tv!

I attended what was supposed be a 6-yr-old's birthday party there. They managed 2 also provide a great venue 4 adults. I seem 2 recall a step at the front entrance, but there was a lift 2 the covered rooftop. Trays of sushi, zucchini friitters, calamari rings & fried chicken were brought around by with it, friendly waiters. Tiny cupcakes were on the tables. We were able 2 get beer, champers & soft drinks.There was a section 4 the littlies where they enjoyed a magician. My only reservation was with the limited parking & the noise volumn.

The Emerson has everything you need in a venue - the food, the drinks, the view, the atmosphere, the people are all fantastic! The look and feel of this place is really cool. The rooftop is my favorite with views overlooking the city but with three floors to enjoy there is a something for everyone. A great bar with really good food, a fantastic wine list and friendly bar staff, it's my number my number one destination for a night out. Friday nights my favorite!
