Great atmosphere. Majority of the staff were joyful and happy to serve you food and drinks. Nice decor near the music stage and sun streamed in of a late arvo and evening. Live music throughout the evenings. I ordered the nachos and the loaded fries and a cocktail on two seperate nights. The portion could feed two people and was lacking salad or vegetables unfortunately. I walked out feeling stuffed because I love food! But a healthy balance would be a great approach for the future. I did order a salad seperstly but did take food home as l couldn't finish it. Thanks for a great time!!

I have been here many times, day and night. Always something on there and easy to get in as it’s for all ages. Can get busy at the bar but now has table order service. I like the pub food and like the dedicated glassware. They have live music on regularly which is great for a lazy Saturday or Sunday session.

The live entertainment at this rooftop bar is exceptional! If you are looking for a “fun” vibe and old school music (think of all the old songs you know all the words to) then this is the bar for you! The guy on the piano is very entertaining 🙌🏼🤣🎵 and knows how to get the crowd up dancing. Oh, and the staff are super friendly, trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Went there Saturday night and had a great time. The floor manager also did an amazing job of looking after us after I accidentally spilt my glass of wine. Thank-you for your hospitality and making the first night out in what seems forever that much better! :)

Good place to grab some pub grub and a drink with friends. Conveniently just over the road from the station good your trip home. It does get rowdy when it fills up. So probably not the place for a quiet drink

Great location right next to fed square and opposite the iconic Flinders Street station. Loved the sav blanc on tap! Food was OK but the service irritating when they came up 3 times to remove our plates when obviously not finished. I ordered the tandoori chicken pizza. I was skeptical they could pull it off, but they did and I loved it: subtle spice; succulent, tasty chicken; soft, creamy potatoes. My only suggestion would be to drizzle some of the complimentary Sriracha sauce on it to give it more kick. I also ordered a bowl of chips, which were perfect – temperature, saltiness, crispiness. The friendly, easygoing staff staff, and the sunny, not-overly-loud ambience completed a very pleasant experience.

Always busy and vibing over here. We usually head straight up to the rooftop but decided to give downstairs a go. Great spot for a little snack and drink in the city.

Great location downstairs overlooking Flinders Street station especially when you have the afternoon sun. Meals are ok however kids meals are a bit small for any kids older than 8. The upstairs bar is ok but the deck on the south side of the building can be a bit breezy and cold.

Love a good cocktail! Beautiful views of the river and city. This venue is quite versatile, it has a rooftop bar and plays most sports games. Across the road from Flinders St Station so easy access to trams and trains. The food and drink prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly as well.

A great pub right in the mix of things. This place gets hammered at times but the staff seem to be always up for the task. It is usually busy the times I go before or after a sport event and I have never been let down by the Transport Bar. I would recommend making a booking.

First time in 14 months that we ventured into the CBD on Saturday afternoon to meet up centrally with some friends. We booked our arrival time online and on arrival we were met at the door and shown to a table. Door staff were very friendly and helpful with the QR code protocol and explaining how we could order food from our tables. All in all staff, venue and service were all excellent and we felt very relaxed and safe in this friendly place.

This is a fantastic Melbourne CBD venue with friendly staff, great cocktails and a really nice vibe. Not to mention the fantastic view of the river. They really go out of their way to support local musicians and have really good gigs so get out there and support them.

Great to get out and watch the footy on the big screens with the glow of the lights of the G in the background. Food great as ever. New IPA delicious and very very socially distant. That's the only slight downside in that the atmosphere is not the same with the limits of people. Staff numbers great and all helpful.

Ordered a grilled wagyu burger when I visited tonight. It was quite underwhelming as the bun was the cheap type you get from the supermarket so it got soggy very quickly and started falling apart. The "wagyu" patty was fairly bland too. The only thing I liked was the chips, but you can't really stuff that up. Overall, not exactly a good experience... probably won't return in the future.

A little late but had a very positive experience here, celebrated my birthday with over 15 people. Did a last minute booking just that morning yet they were so accommodating. The manager on duty went beyond our expectations and the food was really commendable. With their menu being pretty versatile for a bar, all of my guest had whatever they wanted to meaning everyone was pleased by the end of the dinner. Definitely recommend these guys any day. Amazing service and I cannot stress enough on it. Thank you guys, good luck. Also the location is just perfect for everyone to get too.

It is a huge multi level bar/restaurant. If you dont like kids avoid and beer range is average but the food is excellent. Beer is pricey. Food very reasonable for portion size. It could be great...

I'm a regular here, and the service is always fast and friendly. There's a wide selection of drinks, and the food is good, however I do wish there was more than one vegan option on the menu! The garlic foccacia is nice but itd be nice to have more of a selection. More recently, when i was leaving i was holding an empty drink bottle and a guy (who i believe is the manager) offered to fill it up before I left.

Had the pleasure of eating at Transport Bar last night before a show at The Regent. Was limited on time and the staff accommodated our time restraints on a busy Saturday night. Pizzas and Chicken Parmagiana were the choices which were delicious when they arrived. The drinks were great too with a huge selection available for beers and wines. Well done Transport Bar, I'm impressed.

Friendly spot but not a place to drink and chat. The music is just far too loud. But if your happy to drink and stare at each other without talking or shout at top of voices to be heard then great place.

Touristy hotspot has its price. The views are great and the crowds are too, there is tons of beers and wines to choose form making it a great meeting place or stopping off point. The food is a bit hit & miss though. Stick with pub favourites like the chicken schnitzel and the chicken burger and you'll be happy.

I was visiting from the USA and was dying to find a good IPA and this place had them. I went there twice both times the food was excellent, the people were super friendly, and the service was fast. They have a charging station so you can charge up your phone and then hit the city. The place has three floors to it and you can sit outside as well.
