This place is absolutely amazing. There is a hidden closet bar which is even more fun. A seperate booking needs to be made for hidden closet bar. Wide range of cocktails with perfect food. Staff are friendly and helpful. Music is good. The fresh pizzas, with good music and drinks makes a perfect night. Signature cocktails are must try.

If you are after one of the best kept secret bars of Melbourne, you will be in the right place! There was a table available downstairs although we had booked the one upstairs, there was no problem moving. Cocktails, wine & pizza were all good. Love love LOVE the amazing non-alcoholic menu! So nice to sit in such a stunning space and socialise with friends while drinking something nicer than just soft drink! It was beautifully crafted and tasted amazing, you can tell they care as much about these as they do their standard menu. Can’t wait to come back!

We got their bottomless pizza and cocktails on the weekend which is quite a good deal and good vibes for a big group of people! There is a selection of pizzas that are just brought out to you and likewise with the cocktails. I really like the pumpkin pizza with the pesto and goat's cheese topping. The mozzarella is also delicious! You won't leave this place hungry hahahah

Such a pretty place with the most exciting entrance. You seem like you're walking into a very elite, secret space and its so worth it! They have the friendliest staff and amazing drinks. Didn't eat much as we arrived fairly late. Definitely must try the long island iced tea.

We arrived for a booking on a weeknight at 5pm, walked in and waited for over 10 minutes to even see a single staff member in the venue. We eventually went off to search for one and sat ourselves at a table. The food - although beautifully presented - was average at best. The Arancini was probably my highlight. The cocktails were okay, one with a sad little empty passionfruit shell inside. Service was friendly but non-existent and the venue was empty. The decor was beautiful, there was a secret downstairs bar which you have to travel through an old closet to get to. Hopefully this was just a bad day for Trinket. ⭐️3/5

We booked a table to have dinner in the secret bar downstairs but as soon as we showed up, we got told there was a function happening so we had to go to the main dining area on the ground floor. Bookings shouldn’t be approved if they cannot be respected. We were expecting a bit more from that place. I love the novelty at this funky little pizza & cocktails place. Very cozy, nice mood and pretty setting. I like the fun little antique decor spread around the venue and on display above the fireplace. The secret way to the downstairs cocktail bar is disguised as a parody entrance to Narnia and is very fun to walk through. The cocktails are delicious, maybe a bit pricey but they are definitely of high quality

Disappointing Saturday session and amended comment. Last Saturday we had a cocktail-pizza session from 1230 to 230 pm. The whole restaurant was sold out. Service took forever (more than 30 min to take our orders. The pizza was good. We complained to the manager and he said he had 3 staff called in sick. Recently visited Trinket to try their Feed Me menu. First of all, the space is cosy and elegant but not too stuffy, with little knick knacks decorating the space along with velvet furniture and vintage looking light fixtures. Staff made sure I was well taken care of and that my dietary preferences were accommodated. They were able to make the Feed Me veggie. It was a ton of for the price, starting with a fresh mozarella and tomato bruschetta. We also tried the cheesy filo cigars served with a charcoal aioli and the crispy haloumi topped with a sticky sweet blueberry and gin sauce. The sauce was a bit too sweet for me but the salty cheese helped to counteract that. Next came a really nice, soft Margherita with plenty of basil. It was served with a herb slaw, green and red tomato salad and a beetroot, pumpkin, quinoa and hung yoghurt salad which was my favourite. I always thought Trinket was more of a drink destination, but the food really impressed me. That said, the cocktail list is a must try. I started with a delicious rum and sparkling wine cocktail while my partner got a gin, lemon and honey one. We ended with a super smooth, rose infused espresso martini and an interesting, Japanese-inspired highball made with rice milk and melon. Whether for drinks, food or both, Trinket is a hit and provides good value for money the price.

a cosy, chill and hidden little gem in melbourne's cbd - literally hidden! enter via the wardrobe - push through the coats and the door will magically open for you! - there isnt too much space so bookings is recommended (especially if ur coming as a group) they serve up an array of signature cocktails that are unique to trinket, as well as other standard n must have cocktails my personal favourite off the Signature list was The Perfectionist, and Vintage Charm (its an espresso martini but with a twist!)

Visited here on a Monday night near close as a small Christmas party was leaving. Bar staff were very friendly and the manager made an excellent Manhattan. This place has great ambience for a quiet cocktail (off-peak times), and has a very luxurious feeling to the furniture and space.

Love the atmosphere of this bar, particularly downstairs. I really appreciate that they list allergens for all their food, and are happy to cater to coeliac/gluten free. The cocktails were nice, not the best I've had in Melbourne as they were a little weak, and some of the flavour combinations seemed to clash a little. The online table service system really lets this place down though - the reception in the basement is so terrible, it took us 20 mins just to get our drinks ordered. It also took a long time for the drinks to get to us, so in the time we would finally receive one drink, we would've normally had 2 or even 3. It's frustrating for customers, and losing the bar money. I would highly suggest at least a wifi network customers can connect to in the basement, or let people order at the bar. I was also disappointed to see the cocktail menu is a lot smaller than online suggests. Overall an enjoyable and nice bar, and the staff were really wonderful 😊

A cosy place to hang out with friends for a drink and food. I was there on a busy Friday night after work which made the service a tad slow. Was able to extend our booking for an extra 2.5 hours which was great, but had to leave after that. So i had high expectations of this bar with the hype behind it. We booked as you have to these days. Yes the main focus was the wardrobe that hide another bar. Unfortunately that was booked out for a private event- so there went that experience. Secondly i didn't get the hype, it was an average looking bar- nothing like the pictures advertised on google with green velvet bar stools. We were placed on a grotty table, with your average chairs quite close to the door so we were in the main walkway. Atmosphere was an average bar you would go for a drink nothing cosy or lux about it. We refreshed ourselves with water- while we decided where to go next and left within 15min. One that I've ticked and don't need to be back compared with the bars Melbourne is offering now. Disappointed

Walk in and feel like gatsby! Antiques and gorgeous chandeliers and lights adorn the interior and walls with plush couches and seating everywhere with ample space. Great cocktail list as well as decent whisky on menu, with plenty of food and bar snacks to keep you entertained while you relax the night away. The bar behind the hidden closet. To get behind the bar area, you need to open the closet, and walk through the clothes to go down to the secrete bar area. It’s pretty funny to have to enter that way. The automatic door closes behind after you entered. The bar is nice with nice selections of alcohol and food. Pretty efficient service and nice atmosphere. I would recommend here.

Lovely decor and the service was good. Love how you can order from your table. Everyone can pay for themselves and there's no waiting at the bar to be served. Some improvement opportunities is they didn't pick up our leftover glasses or top up our water. We sat there for an hour and no service. Also, toilet paper in the ladies ran out and was never topped up. Maybe because there was only two male staff members but still, they should check.

Not only do you 100% get WELL over your moneys worth for the bottomless brunch, but the pizza is absolutely to die for!!! The drinks taste amazing, and the customer service you receive is well over what you would expect for a bottomless brunch. The staff went out of their way to call their suppliers just to verify that their meat was halal and didn't go just by packaging. Absolutely stoked and will definitely be back here. Shoutout to the worlds best waiter Alex for going out of his way to look after us, provide us with special bubblies and make us feel really well looked after! I've only been here for lunch but it's a great quite spot for a mid-week lunch. The pizza's are cheap considering their size and quality and the venue has a great atmosphere. I've had the odd occasion where the service hasn't been great, but it's been in the minority of instances and certainly hasn't stopped me going back. Management have been super responsive that one time that I was less than impressed, which means more to me than being perfect all the time.

Great sized portions and food came quickly even on a busy day and the staff are enthusiastic and welcoming. Food was great! But there are too many tables in the room and it feels cramped at times. Great new bar with a good wine list and cocktail menu. They also offer tapas which are decent. The best area to go to is downstairs, which is usually guarded by a friendly security guy. It’s almost always pretty busy downstairs so worth going early or seeing if you can get a booking so you don’t have to wait a long time or be told it’s “members only” - which is annoying for all of us. Upstairs there are plenty of seating areas either at the bar or bar tables, and lower seating in couches which are all plush and a trendy blue colour. The chandeliers are quite a nice touch to give it a clandestine look.

Such a wonderful experience. We dined here unexpectedly after we could not get into Chin Chin and had only 45 mins for dinner.... This place is such a hidden treasure. From my initial phone call enquiry to the evening itself, and even a check in from Terra Rossa staff after the event, the customer service was impeccable!! The food was absolutely incredible and catered well for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free guests - plenty of options for everyone (we had a set banquet and it was a massive feast!!) The restaurant environment was cozy with dimmed lighting which was lovely. I would like to thank April and all of the staff at Terra Rossa for making our night amazing! First the good stuff: Great location, nice interior, staff seemed okay, food was very nice, and worth a little extra, but the pricing is just a little too high to make me return. What entirely spoiled it, was that we eat on Easter Saturday and were charged a ridiculous surcharge due to this. Over $110 (for nothing really) just because it was the holiday. All in pretty dumb ass of them as they got zero tip and I'm telling others to avoid the place because of this silly pricing policy. By all means have a special menu with higher prices for holiday periods but adding an extra charge visibly on top of GST and thinking customers will be happy, or want to tip is dumber than dumb. It sadly ruined the night for me as buying two drinks and being charged three dollars, and 1 minute later asking the same barman for another two drinks for people who just arrived, and being charged three dollars surcharge again? This on top of a $10 bottle of beer? Get bent!-Won't be back. I appreciate running a business, I know what its like, but a real shame, as I enjoyed my meal and the company thoroughly. I doubt the management give a damn though, as the place is small enough and food nice enough to keep fresh clientèle rolling in, so more power to them if they can get muppets like me to pay silly surcharges.
